Im will be Moving from Greenfield Indiana. SecurCare was the second placed I called to get a quote. I spoke with Ashley, she offered tips, ideas, and even went out her way to google another service that I will be in need of during my move. This will be my first time renting storage. Ashleys knowledge of how the warranty system protects me, made me feel safe in this step of my life and choosing SecurCare with my belongings.

Looking for a place to keep some extra stuff. Called today and talked to Ashley. She very informative and very helpful. Will be going to see the place tomorrow. Hope it is as nice as she is.

Best customer service I have every experienced from a storage facility. Ashley showed me multiple units and helped me with picking the best size for my needs. So friendly and helpful. I will stay with this place just because of her help.

I currently have 3 units at this location. I moved from another location to this one because of the excellent service from Barb! She has been great to deal with since we first came for a tour of the facility. She delivers packages to our units when needed, stops by to say hello when she sees us out working, and has even offered to help us clean out a unit when she saw us working. Shes always smiling and happy, and is so easy to deal with on the phone or in person. The units are in good condition and if there is ever an issue it is quickly addressed by the staff. I would highly recommend renting here if you are looking for a storage space on the NW side of Indianapolis.

I booked my locker online, which was fairly simple to do on your own. Once I went in to get my lock and keys and everything I needed, the man at the desk was very kind and helpful. They make sure theyre facility is secure and keep out loiterers, which makes me, personally, feel safer about leaving my things in one of the lockers. Paying online each month was also fairly simple, but if you have any problems, theyre reachable and will help out as needed. Checking out of the locker was also easy - just remember to put in your notice of vacation.

I want to say this storage facility is amazing. Ashley is awesome and a pleasure to work with.

Great little area tucked away in a quiet spot that is still visible enough that you feel safe. As well as a great location this place has great service! Barb is always there to help and answer questions for us. She was very informative with the lease process and additional information about the area. Cheap and month-to-month rent as well. I recommend this place to all.

Store Mgr. Barbara was great to work with. She went out of her way to help as we were in the middle of purchasing a boat that needed storage there. Even the day I came on site to sign the documents she was very accommodating with my busy schedule. Great customer service.

Update: Now that it has switched over to SecurCare everything has gone to hell. Myself and my colleague took our units elsewhere. No one is ever staffed at the location to answer questions. Won’t always accept packages. Lot is not well maintained for garbage. It was a buyout from hell. Originally had billing issues. If you have issues, good luck.——-Extra Space Storage on W 96th Street is a great facility. From day one, Barb was able to help us find the unit based on our needs for business use. We were comfortably placed in an easily accessible row and we also have a parking spot for a truck and trailer. The facility is always kept clean and Barb ensures that we are doing well and that everything is up to par. Barb goes out of her way to work for you; she accepts our businesss packages and shipments when she is not busy and always takes care of our maintenance requests in a timely manner! The location and price are great, being right off of 465 and Michigan. I feel safe keeping inventory at this location as there have been no issues with on-site security.

This place is clean and very friendly. Moving my stuff in was extremely easy, and they even called the next day to ask how everything went! They have locks for sale that are competitively priced so I didnt feel like I overpaid buying one on-site. They also setup my own personal key code to enter the facility that was easy for me to remember, this also made me feel like the facility was very safe and well monitored. I would definitely store items here again if I need to in the future.

I have to give the highest Kudos to Ashley at SecurCare Storage on 96th street. On Saturday I was putting some items in my storage unit. It was 32 degrees and pouring down rain and the door got stuck in the upright position. Ashley came down to help me and she stood in the pouring rain(cold) and tried her best to fix it. It turns out the lock was malfunctioning and nobody was available from the maintenance team as it was a Saturday. I was faced with trying to figure out how to move a full storage unit, in the rain, with no truck or no help...Ashley was determined to not make me to that and actually changed the lock herself. She never ONCE complained even though standing in the rain in the 32 degree cold for 40 minutes was not pleasant for either one of us. She provided the best count on me service I have ever received and I cant thank her enough for going the extra mile to help me!

Thanks for everything :)1 Star ****10/15/2019 Update: My husband and I rented a moving truck, spent all day, on our only day off, packing and moving our belongings into our newly rented storage unit just to be shocked to find out there was no way to lock the unit. Tired, sore, feet aching, backs on FIRE, hungry and our 9 month old sleeping in the car we spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service to be told there was nothing they could do, oh and by the way to get out we’d have to call 9-1-1, because after 10pm there’s no way out!!!!!! (I’d like to note, had we been able to lock our unit properly, we would have left well before 10pm. In the end we had to leave all of our belongings in an unlocked unit and be escorted out by the Police Department!!!) You’d think check box number one on the list of things to inspect would be MAKE SURE THE DOOR CAN LOCK!!!!! Please just give me my one month free rent and then money back so we can go somewhere else. Not only are we going to have to rent another truck, move everything AGAIN (sigh), but I’m going to have to take a day off work to do this. Unless of course you can have the door fixed TODAY. We’ll see what they say when the office opens at 10am.Super disappointed :(Advice to people shopping around for storage units: go somewhere that’s 24 hour access and working unit doors. I hear good things about Public Storage.1 Star ****10/15/2019 2nd Update: After waiting in his vehicle for over 3 hours to make sure nothing was stolen out of our unlocked unit, the manager Ashley arrived and did not once apologize; instead complained that we had to call the police to leave last night and insisted nothing was wrong with the unit. My husband gave her the “cylinder lock” that we were instructed to use, and after several frustrating attempts she was unable to lock the storage unit until she furnished her specific cylinder lock. Apparently there are two ways to lock these units: with their specific sized cylinder lock that you purchase from them; or using a regular key lock with a plate that slides back and forth; our unit DID NOT HAVE THAT PLATE making it impossible for us to lock our unit.We will be moving as soon as we can. AVOID SECURCARE SELF STORAGE and go somewhere else!!!!1 Star ****Update 10/15/2019: A complaint must go through the chain of command, starting with Ashley the site manager, then to Scott Smith the area manager, and finally to the regional manager Adam Blackburn. I have spoken with Ashley and the conversation went as expected; she didn’t once apologize and spent the entire time arguing with me about how the whole incident was my fault. She told me to get a cylinder lock, which I did, but it turns out the only cylinder lock that will fit her units are the ones SHE sells. As for the plates, those are kept in the office and dispensed upon request, which is why our back-up lock didn’t work. Had he told me, when I signed the paperwork only purchase their cylinder locks or request a plate, I would have done so.Now I’m waiting to speak to Mr. Smith.4 Star ****Update 10/15/2019: After speaking with Scott Smith my faith in SecurCare Self Storage has been renewed, for now. He was courteous, professional and apologetic. He assured my husband and I that this location is the only one that has issues with the cylinder locks and that he would oversee additional training for Ashley. Mr. Smith compensated us appropriately and has won over my favor. We will stay at the same location and keep hope Ashley improves her attitude, customer service and humility.

Went in today to inquire about a storage unit and I couldnt have been more pleased with the service I received. Barbara helped me and she was an absolute sweetheart...whats more important is that she didnt even sell me anything, she had my best interests at heart and recommended I get a temperature controlled unit based on my circumstance and called over to the other establishment to make sure one was available. Tells a lot about a person and a business when they forgo a $ to do whats right and ethical...rare in todays society. Facilities were super clean, same thing with storage spaces. Would highly recommend. :-)

I have used this storage space for the last 3 years and they have been excellent. Barb has been my constant contact since I rented my unit, and she has always been extremely kind and has always patiently listened to any concern or answered any question. :-)

I found condensation drops in the unit. I was not informed of such a risk. Barb offered another unit but I think since all the units are constructed the same, there is no guarantee no condensation. And after speaking with both Barb and Chad they told me they could give me a month free to cover the cost of a tarp to cover our belongings then retracted that offer. So now my option is making an insurance claim.I dont believe our issue the first time condensation has been a problem. The unusual weather this year was the explanation. I will say this for them though. The roofer who was called to check the roof said it wasnt a leak which I do believe.

Ive been storing my things at the facility for 3 years now and Barb the manager as always done an excellent job. Barb is willing to go the extra length to satisfy her customers and that is important. Since I am gone working on a ship for most of the year I had a problem with my debit card not going through. It was a situation where the company that issued me the card chose to cancel the card since the company thought someone was using my card fraudulently.I emailed Barb to see what I could do to pay and she happily took my other cr cd by email. I had to straighten out the debit card situation when I got home from the ship but Barb was there to help during a tough time when I couldnt resolve the problem till later. The facility is in a safe area and always kept nice. Id highly recommend this facility to anyone shopping for storage space.

Having an online reservation option was a very nice thing. Busy life makes it difficult at times to be able to reach businesses during regular hours. A little problem with online web rates and followed up confirmed rates, but that more than addressed positively by Barb Rak and the management team. Barb listened to my situation, checked availability of units and then suggested an alternate option. As it turned out, the recommended unit was indeed a much better fit for us. Leasing paperwork and unit review onsite was a breeze. Barb is wonderful and made the arrangements a no brainer experience. If you need Extra storage, then this is the place.
