Consistently the worst experience I have ever had. Cliff has a very bad customer experience and the supposed manager Adam is very condescending. They have issues with people that look different from them.Consistently, I have had very bad experiences with Cliff and they need a MORE Qualified manager, someone with at the least a Bachelors degree but preferably an MBA, but most certainly not Adam.After consitenly giving Adam the go ahead over the phone, he and I kept on going back and forth over the phone that I MUST MENTION $150 dollars in my statement. It felt like I was going back and forth with a teenager. I told him multiple times, go ahead and push the car and and just give me a time to be there, and he refused and kept saying I MUST SAY $150 in my statement. I had to hang up the phone because of how petty the back and forth had being and I decided to write it in an email, so that it helps my documentation. Below are pictures. (Mind you, this is after Cliff had already given me a scheduled for 10am which Adam was aware of).Again, Cliff on the other hand did not reply my email or call or text for over 20 days (Despite me carefully spacing the calls and being extremely polite). Cliff all of a sudden reached out to me and wanted to impose a $45/day charge on my car for sitting in their lot. I told him he could not do that. All these I have emails bit cannot overwhelm all with them. He was supposed to talk to the manager and get back to me. After the long delay, it was then I decided to reach out to Adam (even worse), with the hope that he could bring in some conscience and address the 20 days delay, only for Adam to go around in circle and try to spin it on me, thinking I am someone without a brain. Not even an apology or remorse or professionalism, most especially since I reached out to him in good faith.After all this, I ended up having my car towed away without having what I needed done.Note: This is NOT the first time they have rendered a very rude service to me, most especially Cliff. (Keep reading please).Sometimes, I greet him (Cliff), and I always include Sir (due to my military training background), AND HE CLEARLY ignores me as if I were not there. 3 different occasion this has happened, and he was right in front of me.There was a time I had to come pick up something from the trunk of my Mercedes due to how long it had being there (late november last year 2019 to be quite precise). I happened to be downtown, so I shot him a quick email, noting I will make a quick stop to pick up something from my car. When I got there, I politely told Cliff, I apologize for the short notice (which I really did not need to), and he simply IGNORED ME and walked up to get my Mercedes key and started walking to my car, I had to follow him. It was the UTMOST SLAP on my face.All other emails I have, but only loaded just about three so as not to overwhelm the reader.I know aware of many other people of color that have experienced this.NOTE: Pay attention to the details of the 1-3 star ratings and the names or ethnicity.

I have a pre-owned Mercedes due for service. When I called for an appointment, the Service Manager Adam let me know that the previous owner had pre-paid for the service, and that I would not be charged, saving hundreds of dollars. I really appreciated this honesty. I would never have known about the service contract. This is customer service at the highest level! I am grateful and will be a lifetime customer of Silver Star.

Car was scheduled for a Friday maintenance service. Dropped off at 8am. Didn’t get a call until 5pm that it was ready and that they close at 5:30pm so I was without a car for the weekend. Adam boldly states he tried to text and call, both were false claims to placate. I had to reach out to them at 4pm to see when the car would be ready and the gent I spoke to said it wasn’t ready yet but Adam would call when it was done.Additionally, there was another item on the invoice they “couldn’t duplicate” even though I specified what the issue was and what was causing it. I’m not able to discern if it was a time management problem, sheer laziness, or both, but I expect much more from a Mercedes shop. Based on the lies I was told, I now doubt the oil even got changed. Taking it in to another shop to have same service done again. No more business from me, gents.

I was greeted by a very professional staff. I had made an appointment a few days before and the loaner vehicle that I had requested was clean, upfront and ready to go. I asked to have my vehicle completed at a certain time and they were able to accommodate. They even found a coupon for the set of tires that I needed, without me asking. This is a great place and treated me very well. I would absolutely refer this to my friends and family.

Service was good.Attendant was courteous and kind. The physical office seems kinda nda of shabby for a MB shop.Im used to the dealership in Fort Wayne.Luxurious, comfortable and complementary coffee bar with juices, snacks and starbucks coffee machine.This place had a coffee machine and fridge of can pop similar to Jiffy lube.TV was stuck on Fox news and no way to change the channel. I was trapped for 2.5 hours.

Just moved to Indy and was looking for a new shop to service my ML. After calling around to several luxury dealerships I realized that none were actually Mercedes Benz certified. I took my car in to Silver Star just looking for general maintenance service and information and was given a variety of options and service packages. I left feeling satisfied and didnt feel like I was being upsold like other dealerships. They quickly fixed my issues and my car was even returned sparkling clean! I will be recommending Silver Star to fellow colleagues.

I always enjoy getting my car serviced at this location. Staff is friendly and waiting area is always well stocked and comfortable. Kevin helped me and explained everything in detail and did not pressure me into making any on the spot decisions. The manger was helpful and friendly too. Great shop.

We have used them for years. Always good service and professional. I love the fact they have loaner cars and we normally get an appointment pretty quick. They always call to keep us informed of any finds and give updates on service as needed. My husband and I have never ran into any issues with this business.

I have a GLB 250, took it in couple of months ago, cos I had some error messages and some others(ABS inclusive), the Manager Adam charged me over $6k for repair, calming the part for the first fix on the car was not genuine, I showed him receipts, the parts he called fake was actually bought from their shop.. but still, he charged me $6k, I paid, took him over a month to fix.. fast forward to now, the same ABS error he fixed, is back on, took the car to him, told him, why is it back again, it your fault, he charged me $165 just to look at the mess they made, which he said was all good when he took my money... now he’s sending me another quote for $1731 to fix the same ABS you once charged me... if I could leave a negative star I definitely would, met a lady there who was complaining about the same thing... silver star is just open to rip people off... I would take my car else, I would gladly pay anyone the $1731 than silver star.... Nonsense.

I came in to get an estimate on what it would cost to get my taillights fixed. I told Kevin the exact problem with my car along with the parts I would need (without the model numbers), which somehow seems to be the deciding factor on this situation according to the slime ball manager Adam. I was asked to sign some paperwork to drop off my car and handed over the keys etc. I called to figure out what the damage would be if I got it fixed. I was told that the labor alone would be 300+ dollars and the parts would be over $100. I verified all the pieces cost half of that and would take less than 10 minutes to change them out. That somehow means it’s a 2 hour job at a $154 rate to them. I was told that they can charge whatever they would like on the parts and it isn’t what the cost is. If that was all I’d chalk it up to poor management and bad business practices. However, since they “needed” to run diagnostics to “figure out” what the issue was, (even though I told them the second I walked in the door) I was charged $154 and they wouldn’t return my car unless I paid them. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever dealt with from a team that rips off everyone they get the chance to. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle let alone a Mercedes. Anyone that goes here and just pays what they ask are ignorant. I have no doubt they are robbing old people blind at this location. I will never give them another dime. I wouldn’t even of gave them a single one if they literally didn’t force a pen to paper in order to return my car.UPDATE: I must have spoke to the owner since they know the intricate details that I spoke with the team about. Go there for yourself and get ripped off. I’m sure the owner would love that. I have no idea what I’m talking about and get all my information off the internet and I am not fact oriented. I had Adam openly tell me they upsell on parts after I showed him the exact same parts from other Mercedes dealers (half the cost by the way). If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a buffalo according to the owner.

This is an update. Worst experience ever!! I would give it negative stars if I could. I will NEVER come to this place again. Charging me $650 for an alignment and $4 part. Its a total rip off and the customer service is ridiculous!! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. This place will scam you and is extremely over priced. Adam and Cliff need to take customer service classes. They are very rude and arrogant for no reason and seem to have problems with people of color. I am also going to file a formal complaint.

Bringing my ML 350 2007 here was a mistake. Low customer relation skills. I brought my car here, not only does it took too long to reach out to me, i had to call them severally before i was told the condition of my car, i was told on the phone how poor condition my car is and old,(IN MY WORD it sound stupid to spend money fixing it) based on the value of the car, not knowing the history the car holds with me. Now i have to pay for nothing to get my car of their property -my next move-.Am not trying to be shady or anything, I just belief Mbenz is bigger than this, and I use to hold so much respect for the company, not anymore.my review and opinion might means nothing to them, cos WHO AM I, but am sure it will to the integrity and good relationship the advertise.

Purchased my CLA 250 from here back in the summer. Sales-staff was extremely helpful but in a laid-back, no pressure way. Then, once I placed my order they were very helpful with keeping updated on the process and status of my new car. When I went to pick it up they even had it in the middle of the show-room floor for me! Service after the purchase has been exemplary as well. Very accommodating even on a tight schedule and they blew me away with some personal assistance! Despite the fact that I am moving out of state soon, I will still likely return for future business.

The wipers in our old Benz went out so we went here to get a diagnostic and change the oil while we were at it. Everyone was super nice, patient, and helpful and we were asking a ton of questions! They answered every question that we asked with no problem.The price to run diagnostics, replace the stalk, and change the oil was only $600 which is way less than what I expected just to repair the wipers, plus they washed the car and replaced the wipers and some wiring for free. Everything took 2 hours in total, which was about an hour less than they said it would take.While we waited, we we asked to look at some cars and they brought them out front to us. Not once did they throw sales pitches at us or try to pressure us into buying anything.I know that whenever we need our car serviced or buy a new car this is where were going. First rate service all around.

Really painful experience with my C300 4matic. Recently I visited three consecutive times for just single problem of annoying noise. The service rep said it was about the control arm and would be fixed with a replacement of parts, but the problem was not resolved at once, but eventually done after three visits, taking three weeks. Having different explanations for the problem at every visit for 3 weeks was not fun at all.For 3.5 years of my driving this vehicle, I experienced multiple big problems:1. Water leakage from the ceiling (near sunroof) whenever I went through car washing. (~2.5 years ago)2. Parking break disorder required two consecutive visits (~1.5 years ago)3. Steering wheel position was not electronically adjustable (~ 2 years ago): required one visit4. Very annoying noise when turning either right or left especially with low speed: this required 3 consecutive visits.5. Flat tire for four times for 3 years, which required replacement for all cases paying mostly my out of pocket money.In total, I visited the service center more than 15~20 times, where I almost never got an opportunity of loaner car use.Were the service very nice and professional? I would say “No” for both quality and kindness.JS

All I need is make a phone call and everything is set without any problem (EVERY TIME)Undoubtedly, M-Benz of Indy is the best dealership I ever had :)

This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had with an auto repair provider. I tried to reach them on Saturday, the service department was closed. I had the vehicle towed to the facility Saturday. I arrived at the dealership at 7:45 am right after they first opened on Monday. I asked the service adviser about my vehicle, told him of my situation. I asked if they could provide me with a loaner car, as the repair would be rather extensive. The service adviser informed me that they do not offer loaner vehicles to customers who have insurance repairs as that is the insurance companies responsibility to take care of my rental car. I thought that seemed a little odd as I could receive a loaner for an oil change, but not a total engine replacement. The gentlemen was very rude, I called the North side repair facility to ask if they could help out, they returned my call with since its already downtown we think you should get it repaired there. Later that afternoon the Service manager Chris I. calls my cellphone advising me that they will not help me with a loaner vehicle because insurance companies can take too long basically. When I told him I have to take the vehicle to someone that can provide me with a loaner as my insurance company would not cover a rental he told me that he would strongly advise that I didnt do that. Basically threatening me.I told him that I had spoken the the MB dealer in Louisville who was very nice to me and would gladly put me in a loaner vehicle. He then told me that I owe them $130.00 before I can pick up the vehicle, I was floored as I never asked them to do anything to the vehicle and specifically asked them to let me know about the loaner, with this being an insurance claim I dont know why they would even touch the vehicle before the adjuster arrived. To top it all off he said I would hate to have to put a mechanics lean on your car again another threat. These people are unethical and a disgust to the name Mercedes Benz, Ive been treated with more courtesy and respect at Jiffy Lube, than by the service department at this facility. I will never take my vehicle to them again, and will be having a tow truck pick it up from this location ASAP!

I recently took my Mercedes in for break issues the front brakes needed to be replaced there was a noise that typically goes along with breaks when I need to be replaced I paid Close to $400 to get the brakes replaced. Three days later the same noise was back when I came to a stop. I called today and spoke with the service manager Adam Arbour Who stated that the job was not to fix the noise but replace the brakes and how do they know that the noise was the brakes. Denying I ever said anything about the noise to the service dept. However the general manager Scott said that he would take care of it

These guys have done a great job taking care of me on multiple occasions. The services they performed on my S class was exceptional. So much that when I decided it was time for another vehicle - I purchased another Mercedes.I have always been taken care of here - I feel they keep my best interest in mind. Cliff Einspahr is the service advisor I go to - and he has done a great job.Like anything - communication is key. Good communication brings excellent accommodation.When you compare their service to other german auto repair places - the pricing is comparable - and the service is MUCH better at Mercedes- Benz of Indy. Dont hesitate to take your vehicle here....

I recently had some service done to my GL450 and upon picking it up I was told my suspension would be a little shaky but it’d even out sounded weird but after plunking down 2300 I was just happy to have my vehicle back so I didn’t think about it well a couple weeks later my front struts go bad after I call I’m told the technician said something about it but I didn’t pay for a inspection you’d think any dealer would do an inspection after taking 2300 from you but I guess not or at the very least tell me I’m gonna need another couple thousand to fix my front end but I guess not thanks a lot guys. The response is a complete lie I was never made aware of any additional issue nor and additional inspection needed to investigate said issue even asked the service advisor (Raymond) that released my vehicle to me about any additional issues they saw and he found nothing to that effect. The foreman saw fit to fix a totally unrelated oil pan but not make me aware of a suspension issue. Lying on the internet to save face is not the way if an advisor had indeed saw an issue there should have been some sort of note on the invoice if there is a charge for simple human decency I was not made aware of please give me a heads up

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used the collision center for repair of my E550 coupe after a theft. The car took longer than originally stated but I was ok with that since my first priority is a quality repair. The insurance company had written me a check to cover part of the repair and paid the repair center directly for the rest. When I picked the car up, I owed the repair center $1,400.00 for the portion of the repair paid to me directly so this was already known to me...so no issue here. I provided my credit card for payment...but..turns out their internet was down. Again no problem on my end, I suggested they call me when the internet is up and we manage the payment over the phone...I was told..and I quote...”that’s not the point..we need payment before you leave”. Eventually they called the 96th street store and ran the credit card - which I could have stopped at the 96th street store on my way home to Westfield. I was treated like a known thief over $1400. Mind you, I have spent more than $1400 in oil changes alone. As a matter of fact, I just recently replaced a battery for over $500.00. I will never spend another $ at this dealership.

I bought a brand new 2017 gle 43 AMG coupe in June from this dealership. I am a retired disabled vet. I paid 79k for the car, a lot of money for me living on disability. I was promised by my sales person, Raymond Yeary, anytime I brought the car back for work I would be given a loaner. I was going to purchase an Audi, but the would not guarantee a loaner. This dealerships website clearly states if your car is in for repairs to utilize their loaner vehicles. I needed some light body work done along with a service. I was told no loaners, due to body work. I explained to Raymond, and Scott, the sales mgr, what I was promised and what their website clearly states. Scott told me he didnt care what the website says. Unbelievable....the owner, Paul called me, I explained the entire situation to him. He basically said no loaners if your having body work done. I informed him of what I was promised, and what his website says. He says if he has to, he will just change the wording on the website. He cant help me. Give them your money, listen to the lies, even the one in print on their website, then get treated this way. They dont care. Deal with the dealership at your own peril. Next is the BBB and the Attorney General of Indiana. Good luck.

Took our GLK in for annual service. Easy to make an appointment on their website and no issues with anything at the dealer. Their small lounge and free Wi-Fi make the time go by quickly. The timing for a wait was about expected. A slightly longer time for the free carwash as part of the service, but worth it. Will definitely be back.

Horrible service!Recently moved to Indy and decided to take my MB S430 to the dealership for routine maintenance. Called several times to schedule an appointment and did not receive a return call. Decided to drop by and the service supervisor was rude and very unprofessional. Told him I was from California and his response was, California is backwards! When I picked up my car it had not been washed, and the service manager words were, it was washed, he just ran the hose across your car quickly. Wow!

I tried to set up a service appointment and had to call 3 times just to speak to someone and he was a manager that was incredibly rude. He told me that its just the way it is and that they are too busy to take calls right now. Im ashamed to own two Mercedes with dealers like this carrying the brand... Needless to say Ive had to inconvenience myself to drive an hour and a half to get it serviced elsewhere.

I cannot get anyone to help me. I mean, literally cant get help. Cant get a person to call me back after visiting in person and calling and calling again. All I want is to hire you to work on my car and I cannot get anyone to take my money.Im spending my morning looking for a service shop that isnt this company so I may get work done but then no loaner car. Im now thinking that buying a Mercedes is a huge mistake because this is the only help in town. I believe I cant own a Mercedes and live in Indy and expect to get work done

I was unable to find where to Add a New review on this Google page so again, I will add to this previous review......September 2, 2018 Review - I had 2 experiences last week on 2 different cars:CAR 1 - I took in the car for alignment for the vague feeling in the suspension. Adam Arbour quickly diagnosed my problem resulting in an alignment. Since the car has Aftermarket (Non Mercedes Benz) shocks, there was an issue with obtaining Perfect alignment. Raymond Yeary explained this and provided 2 options. Option 1, Add 2 more hours of Labor for suspension/alignment work to obtain Perfect alignment today. Option 2, Accept the Near Perfect alignment to see if I am satisfied with the steering and pay only the base price of alignment. Raymond also added that if I was not satisfied with the Near Perfect alignment that I could return and add the additional service And without having to add another alignment. Raymond also explained that there was no safety issue or tire/suspension wear issue if I chose the Near Perfect alignment due.I chose to test the Near Perfect alignment and the steering is excellent. My point to this review is that Mercedes could have told me that I really needed the Added suspension work (and Added Cost) due to the Non Mercedes performance shocks. Instead they offered a much less expensive alternative, to at least try, if I wanted to....It is these continued acts of honest/integrity and accurate service that I return to Mercedes Benz of Indy and share these results.CAR 2 - I had defective key and was stranded in a parking lot, as my car would not start. In a phone call, Adam Arbor immediately assisted me in getting the car diagnosed and started. Then when I visited, Nolan Patterson quickly arranged for me to get/order a new key. The 2nd key was performing poorly too. Adam and Raymond fixed that in about 1 minute by replacing the battery.Thank you,CharliePREVIOUS REVIEWS..............I have 3 cars that I take to this location. Nothing against the 96th Street location (World Wide Motors), even though I live much closer to World Wide Motors, I always come to MB of Indianapolis for service. Here is the reason(s).Last week, I picked up a part for the other car. While there, I mentioned to Nolan Patterson of the Body Shop, that I need to make an appt to have the hood adjusted on this car as there is very slight gap when it closes. Nolan stood up and said, lets see if we can fix it while you are here now. After about 30 minutes of adjusting the hood, it was corrected and w/o any charge or cost.Point of this example is that Nolan (Body Shop) could have easily made an appt (as I requested) and Charged me for the service. Plus that would have required several hours of my time. Important to note is that I bought this car at Louisville MB, not MB of Indianapolis. And this was not a warranty item.Also, I have found that sometimes the service cost here is similar or not much higher than independent shops. For example, I had a car towed to PepBoys on 96th street to replace a Crankshaft Position Sensor. After I had this completed, I ask MB the price. The MB price was $15 less. The part was about the same cost but Mercedes Benz of Indianapolis had a lower labor cost. Labor costs are often the same per hour among shops. I think Mercedes Benz can charge less Hours as they know the quickest and most efficient way to diagnose and to complete the repair. This is not always the case but I find this more common than not......Thank you, Charlie

DONT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP:I will never come here again once my car is out. I am in total disbelief in how they can treat a customer. I called MBUSA HQ, I will be leaving a complaint with the BBB and consumer affairs. These people are not professionals. I know when its time to trade in, I will NOT buy from here. Im actually just going to forget they even exist. Pathetic how the management treats customers. I sure am happy that my CarChex aftermarket warranty stepped up to the pump and took care of the fact this dealership misdiagnosed my vehicle. The warranty company paid for the dealerships mistake and the dealership was left looking even more ridiculous then they already are.I paid over $600 for a class B service, these guys said they checked by breaks (I specifically asked them to check the breaks) they said that the breaks were fine. Its been 3 weeks and my break wear light it on. This really is a shop full of hacks!!Plus they sold me a $600 DVD unit and THEY KEPT THE REMOTE. They never did one thing I had asked them to do the proper way.

Having owned vehicles under the brand of Mercedes-Benz for quite some time, I have had the experience of having my vehicle serviced and maintained at Mercedes dealerships across the midwest. Never before had I received such excellent service than from Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis. Whether I bring my twenty old Mercedes, or my brand spankin new Benz, I am always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The staff, especially Chris, is extremely polite and helpful, and answer any questions I may have. Service visits are quick and painless, and they make sure that you actually understand whats being done to your vehicle. I would highly recommend anyone with a Mercedes to give them a try! Unparalleled excellence, unlike any other.

Worst customer service ever. The waiting lounge was freezing. It was 19 degrees outside and about 50 degrees in the waiting area. The service manager Adam Arbour was very unconcerned about the issue when presented to him. Staff needs major customer service training.

For over 10 years, I have used MB of Indpls for all my service work on my CLK 55.The service people have been terrific and great to work with, especially, Adam, Noland, Lucas, and Cliff. They have helped me keep my car running like new! The extra services provided like rides to work or cars to use overnight or roadside service make it easy to want to do business at MB of Indpls. But most of all, I trust them and enjoy doing business with them! For expert service done in a friendly and courteous manner, MB of Indpls is great.

Really bad customer service.Long story: I called in a couple weeks in advance to reserve my appointment and clearly mentioned that I need a loaner car, as I live an hours drive away, and my servicing would need several hours. A few days before my appointment I receive a call saying my appointment has to be moved because the loaner car was booked by someone else! I agreed and pushed out my appointment by a week or so. A week goes by and I drive an hour after work to land up at the service center, only to be told that my appointment had already moved, as the loaner car was book by someone else again!! When I told them I was not informed, they mentioned they did not know how it got updated in the system.They mentioned they could not do anything to accommodate and I had to drive back an hour uselessly. Total waste of my time and extremely unprofessional work! Ill be servicing my vehicle elsewhere from now on.

I would like to tell you all a story of what happened today. I was driving my car on Meridian St. in Indianapolis and the tire popped as I was driving. I was then towed to the nearest Mercedes Benz located on Meridian St., where I was not greeted. I waited 5 minutes for someone to approach me and that did not even happen. I went to the service man myself and told him that my car has just arrived with a flat. He told me to take a seat in the lounge while they check it out. I waited for at least 30mins before anybody talked to me again. This same man took some of my information and told me to wait until my car was checked out. I waited another 45min, keep in mind I am a college student and missed my classes due to this poor service and management. I then went to him and asked him what was going on. He told me that I mustve hit something and that the rim was bent and the tire is ripped. He then continued to tell me that they do not have a tire that would fit onto my 2015 C300, that I just bought 3 weeks ago from Mercedes Benz of Fort Wayne. I was beyond frustrated at this point! He said they would check with the other Mercedes Benz in Indianapolis, IN and then he came back and told me that they are unauthorized to get me a tire from any location in Indianapolis. He said that I need to keep my vehicle there until they can order me a tire and I wont be able to receive my car for another 5 days because they need to straighten out the rim. I asked what other options I had and he said I didnt have any. I was pissed. I am a college student who lives alone with no other form of transportation and this man is telling me that I didnt have any options? I called my father, who lives in Fort Wayne, IN. He went to the Mercedes Benz there and spoke to Jason (from the service department), John (from service), and Paul (GM). They gave me a tire and rim to get by until I fix mine. He drove 2 hours to put a freaking tire on my car because this Mercedes Benz didnt have anything that would fit my car. When my father arrived at 5:20pm, 10 minutes before closing, he saw that they put my car at the edge of the building while it was hailing and storming outside. As all of the service men were looking at us, my father changed my tire within 5 minutes in the pouring rain! He was not offered help nor was he even talked to. This is beyond unprofessional! We did not pay 50k for a car for this kind of treatment. There was also no manager on site at this time. This is honestly the WORST experience we have had with Mercedes Benz and we do not appreciate it. We pay money to get the best and this was NOT the best. I would like to thank Mercedes Benz of Fort Wayne for all their help, especially Jason, John, and Paul, with this problem as my local Mercedes Benz of Indianapolis didnt do crap!
