BUYER BEWARE!*We arranged for a rental car, had a 5 day rental max per my warranty, PFM decided to sit on my vehicle for 2 of those days before starting on my repairs on a Friday.*Charged us $200 more than our warranty company said the job should cost by simply stating we do not have to price by MSRP.*They did not repair the main issue we were having, only the minor issue.*We left there with additional damage that they admittedly caused (rear drive shaft & front engine mount), and refused to repair the damages they caused. Brad actually hung up on us after explaining we would have to go to BBB or Small Claims Court. Conclusion: Brad & PFM care about Brad & PFM. They do not care about you, your time, nor your best interest. Here are the details should you wish to properly evaluate PFM:I took my SUV for 2 purposes. The blower for the a/c & heat blower intermittently stops, and when idle, the a/c stops blowing cold air. Full transparency, I have an extended warranty, so knew going into it Id have a $100 deductible. After leaving the vehicle w/ Brad and his team (I mostly dealt with Brad), they finally called me to explain that there is a leak in the a/c lines. I asked if repairing that would repair the a/c & heat blower issue as well as the a/c staying cold a, Brad responded yes to the a/c staying cold, but not sure with the blower, would need further diagnosis. The largest reason I had the vehicle in for repair was for the blower issue! Brad turned the claim into my warranty company, and it was approved for repair. My warranty company approved MSRP pricing (which is standard), PFMs pricing was higher, and I had to pay an extra $290 on top of my $100 deductible, almost $1,900 job. Even the $290 mysteriously increased at check out lol! Without many options, I went ahead and had PFM order the parts for repair, and the plan was for them to contact me so I could arrange a rental vehicle during repair. We scheduled repairs to begin Wednesday 8/18, so I arranged for a rental on that morning. Each day from there, I called PFM for an update, and Brad said it was taking longer than expected. Turns out, he admittedly did not even start my vehicle until Friday! During this conversation that Friday, when I reminded Brad that I needed my suv back for the weekend, and that I had a car rental daily max, Brad had the audacity to say I will not work under this pressure, you can come pick the vehicle up. Please understand, I only get 5 days of rental from my warranty, day 2 was about over, I had no choice but to have Brad and his staff finish the job. Finally, he calls Saturday late afternoon saying it is out being test driven, and should be ready. Away for the weekend, I advised Id have to come and pick it up Monday, which Brad says in fine. Brad also mentions that he also noticed a drive shaft issue, and an engine mount issue, and said hed place his estimates on the ticket so I can try to submit a claim for my extended warranty. Monday, I go to pickup vehicle, and when I leave, I notice during acceleration, there is a LOUD roaring vibration. I call PFM, speak with Brad, and he says that is most likely the Engine mount. I ask him if this and the drive shaft issues would have been caused by the a/c lines repair, Brad says it is possible, that things get moved around, and do not always go back together the same way. I drive the vehicle the rest of the day, and being the sound is unbearable, I call Brad the next day, and explain that this noise did not exist prior to my a/c repair, and ask him if he will do anything to make it right. Brad says all he can do is make the repairs if my warranty company approves the new claim. Conclusion: Brad & PFM care about Brad & PFM. They do not care about you, your time, nor your best interest.
I could not recommend these guys more for when you need a vehicle serviced. They are efficient, have good communication, have demonstrated great value on repeat occasions, but most importantly.. they are simply a reliable operation. I’ve never heard them respond with any excuses for timeliness or price (the great part is though, they never needed any to begin with).I’m unsure how else I can express how satisfied I am, besides reiterating the fact that I based this review off of multiple occasions and years of repeat service - not a single interaction. It’s difficult to be so consistent, but they continue to impress me.
True professionals..fair honest
Had my Motorhome serviced yesterday, oil change and chassis service. Excellent customer focus with great staff. No other service center in the Greenwood area will provide this service while you wait. Keep up this quality and customer focused approach. Definitely will go back
I brought my car in to fix a tail light problem. The staff was quick, kind and very professional. And the best part???? they vacuumed out my car. It was just the BEST! thank you.!
Very informative and helpful Staff. Had my 2015 Ford Transit at 2 different Ford Dealers for transmission issues over the last year. The Dealers gave me very high quotes and did not correctly identify the source of the problem. PFM identified the source, fixed it and installed a new transmission. It was a costly fix. However, the PFM warranty was better and the cost ended up being less than the dealer quote. Jon in Indy-
This is the BEST repair shop. I love how they take pictures to show you what is going on. I have a MaxCare package with Carmax and my problem was covered through Carmax, PFM called about the problem and fixed it for me. I will always bring my car here, and if anyone asks, I tell them about PFM.
I have been in field service for well over 15 years. I have taken all of my company vehicles to PFM for all of my vehicles needs. Every thing from oil change and tires to major engine work. The guys have always been fast and accurate with their work. I like these guys so much that I take my personal vehicles here also. Great guys.
PFM takes great care of the Team Endicott moving truck! Thank you to all at PFM!
I had a great experience with PFM Car & Truck in Castleton. I went to them to get an oil change, 4 new tires, and to get my alignment fixed. Their number one selling point to me is that they will pick up your car for you and drop it off to you if you ask, free of charge. This is an AMAZING perk if you ask me. Their prices seem reasonable and they are great about contacting you and keeping you updated on the status of your vehicle. The only thing that is keeping me from giving them 5-stars is that my car alignment still feels a little off. According to them they fixed it as best as they could, so I havent taken it back, but I still have an inkling it is a little off. All in all though, I am happy with my tires and the customer service.
I have used PFM for years for our family cars. The have always been honest and easy to deal with. I appreciate how they give me options when available for repairs, I dont feel like I am pressured into doing work. I am Happy to recommend PFM to anyone looking for repair shop!
Quick service. Helpful advise. Recommend
Always get our trucks in quick and the follow up is great
DONT GO THERE!I took my car in for repairs to my engine. Based on another mechanics expert opinion, it should have been a quick easy fix for under $100 but they quoted me over $1,000 in necessary repairs! They did not diagnose the problem correctly and tried to overcharge me. I am sorry that I went there at all...as I still paid $600 and car was not fixed.Manager never called me to make things right.
These guys work with you to find the problem and solve it a soon as possible they are knowledgeable and friendly and just all round good guys... Thanks again Guys !!!
Awesome shop! Friendly staff and quality work!

Good people good service
Friendly staff!!
First, I am very hard to satisfy. I have very high standards of excellence especially when you are paying the labor rates we have to pay today.Youll see reviews saying it cost more than they said... --- remember, that sometimes happens to all of us. Ever have a picture using a $2 bracket, and before you know it youre dry-walling the living room? That happens in car repairs too.Ive taken my car there several times now for both major and minor work, and have experienced what I would consider to be the best customer service possible every time. Even in bad situations - any moron can give good customer service when things are going well. Its how problems are handled that separate the men from the boys. For example, I had a timing belt replaced. After the car was disassembled it was discovered there were additional tools needed. PFM didnt have the tool. I didnt like it, but I undestand it happens some times. Especially with squirly manucaturers. It took time to find the required tool, but they did. What is more important, is that they offered to re-assemble the engine and allow me to bring it back once they had the tool. I opted not to do that. Definately something I could complain about. But it was handled professionally and honestly....No excuses. No evasive phone calls. The service writer answered every email and phone call I made over the period of 2 or 3 days while this was happening. He even was happy to see me when I walked into the shop. I was upset, but he never allowed it to be personal. Always professional.Whenever I have taken my car in, they have met every expectation, and when a problem happened they worked to rectify it. As long as they keep this up, Ill be a loyal customer.
Avoid at all cost - they will rip you off. STAY AWAY!!!!!!AC stopped working in my wifes van. Weather has been unseasonably cold lately, so we didnt need to use the AC since last fall. Wife complained so I took it in to PFM because it was very close to my office.. They had $29.99 A/C check up special. Good. Left the car there.2 hours later, they called me. They said A/C coil is bad, need to replace the whole Compressor, Receiver dryer, Expansion valve, and Purge & Recharge the system. $1,575Sticker shock. But I declined the service. I know thing or two about DIY repairs. A/C coil (ElectroMagnet) are about $50..... you can just replace whats broken. the other parts doesnt really need to be changed. This DIY repair may require few hours on weekend. So I went to Penske Honda to order the A/C coil, browsed few YouTube videos on how to fix the AC coil, and got under the van.And guess what. The A/C coils electric plug was loose. That was it. I pulled it out, gave it a good clean, plugged back in, and it worked like a charm.Did they even bother to look at this?I thought... How many poor souls (who doesnt have the knowledge or willingness to seek a second opinion, or care for the money they earn) have they ripped off of... thousands of dollars....Luckly, thank god, I dodged this one. But I am sure they wont be the only/last ones out there to get me.Im taking my family out for a nice dinner tonight, in my van that has ice-cold AC, which cost me next to nothing (well.. $29.99 I paid to PFM) to repair, with the money I kept in my pocket.DONT GO THERE.
They have the best waiting area!!
Do not take your car there unless you are willing to leave it for over a week and then get overcharged for repairs. They up sell you on anything they can and very poor communications.
Fast and friendly
