Toyota staff is always professional and courteous. I tried to schedule an appointment online, they were booked two weeks ahead. I called Toyota service department because of our car displayed an engine warning light, Carol asked if we could come in within the next half hour. We were able to go in and met with service tech Will, he listened to our concerns then advised us on what the best course of action would be. He was honest with us, which we truly appreciate! I haven’t been pleased with the service I got from another Toyota dealer in the area and decided to try O’Brien Toyota for a recall and oil change on my Highlander. I was greeted right away and told it would take about 3 hours. My vehicle was ready before the the hours! The oil change cost less than the previous dealer!! I’m very pleased 😀

While visiting in Indianapolis, Indiana I had the pleasure of stopping in at Obrien Toyota when my low tire pressure light came on just as I was leaving to head back to the state of Virginia. They were nice enough to get me in quickly, check my tires, air them up and reassure me that everything was good. I was only delayed 45 minutes heading back home. Friendly, accommodating staff; quality work. I have had my car serviced here several times and every staff member tried to save me money and prevent unnecessary repairs. Depending on availability they also have a shuttle that I used to get dropped off at work downtown when I had an all day repair.

Great overall buying experience. Everybody worked as a team to help me secure the vehicle that I really wanted. I got the absolute best deal on a 4Runner in central Indiana. No lie. OBrien has really nice, honest people at every stage of the buying process. Janice was a pleasant problem solver. Trevor, my salesperson, couldnt have been better. I went to O’Brien Toyota 8-18-21 for an oil and filter change and tire rotation. I was charged for 7 quarts of oil for a vehicle that only requires 5.7 . My fluids we’re supposed to be topper off, windshield washer fluid was left almost empty. Oily fingerprints on hood, drivers door and steering wheel. The seat and steering wheel had been re-adjusted and not put back into position. Iwas charged $103 for what I feel was a very poor service.

Lemme tell you about this oil change…First off, what’s the point of an appointment if you have to wait?Second, they did a great job of not telling me how much my oil change/rotation was going to cost me at the onset of my appointment. It ended up being $120 bucks and had I have known they would “find nothing” from the metallic rattle and charge me $120 to do my oil change and rotation, I’d have left. They did offer me an “oil change program” and decided I’d never be back to the dealership I bought my jeep at. 11/10 won’t recommend this dealership at all.

I was told an appointment wouldn’t be available until 7/27 but if I brought my car in and they had a cancellation they could get me in. They had my car about a day and a half (7/15-16). A rodent had chewed up my wiring harness…. IKR!! Thank you to all the guys in the service department for getting my car back up and on the road in a very timely fashion! You guys are awesome!!

O’Brien has my business always. I have had two cars, both from O’Brien. The sales department is great. The service department is what keeps me coming back. When I go for service, I never experience the typical female service experience. I am always treated like a competent owner of my car. I have never been asked to do more than what is needed during service. In my last visit, I was told that I need all my brakes replaced. I agreed. I was called an hour later and told that after closer inspection, I only needed front brakes. The service department did not want to do more than what was needed even though I’d already okayed it. I am a customer for life.

My car was in and out for 3 months for a hard to find problem. Thats not why I give one star. I understand that. Here is what happened to write my first negative review ever.-it took me coming in 3 times in a week to get my car back because; 1 they couldnt find my keys, 2 when they let me drive away something sounded off, I pulled over and found parts of my car still in the back of the car!-They would not call me an update me when they said they would.- They were supposed to do my maintenance/oil change check up while they had the car. I have paperwork that says they did. The oil change sticker did not reflect this, AND MY MAINTENANCE LIGHT JUST CAME ON.I feel like at this point my life has been put in danger. It has completed effected my view of Toyota.

I was told at my previous new car service (19.200 miles) that I could come back before my 30,000 for another oil change under my free service agreement. Today when I went for that oil change I was told it would cost me $99. They refused to honor what I had been told. I’ve purchased 6 new vehicles from them!

Update: Wow, as soon as I wrote my review I received a call from Patrick (no joke). He diligently worked with me and wanted to know about my experience, so I told him my whole ordeal. Told me he would call me back to see what he could do, and he did. Patrick took initiative and responsibility, and Im very impressed how the company handles situations such as this. My overall experience wasnt something I wish on anyone, but how they took care of me after was more than I could ask for. Patrick was able to help me adjust my bill, tremendously. Thanks O’Brien Toyota, especially Patrick.Original Post****The first time I came here to get an oil change, diagnostic test, and to fix my car, I spent about $1000. A couple months later I’m having the same issue with my Check engine light, but when the diagnostic came back they said it’s related to my alternator, something about the charges so I need a new belt. Funny, they were the ones who Replaced the old one, so why am I having a new problem regarding to something they just fixed. I spent almost $300 for that service and never announced or made aware during the call that the $55 diagnostic fees wouldn’t go into covering the belt. Had I known, I would have gotten the belt fixed somewhere else. When I got the receipt back, I paid more for labor than the parts ($60 for part, $194 for labor). I genuinely feel duped and couldn’t see myself going back in for another service with them.

We spent the last few months talking with multiple dealerships trying to get a new Sienna, which are in short supply, and selling before they even hit the lot! With this kind of situation many places did not want to offer a fair trade value for our trade in, often far below the Kelley blue book. Not the case with O’Brien who gave us a very fair offer, going just above the other two offers we had to earn our business! Michael Raney was great to work with and helped us get the Sienna we wanted! Extremely happy with our purchase and highly recommend!

OBrien Toyota was amazing when I bought my car in March 2021. The car was a great price and no hidden fees were tacked on. Floor mat liners were even included for no extra charge which was great because they were the only add on I wanted. I ordered my car online and did the whole sale from states away. The car was shipped through a third party company that I chose and it arrived in pristine condition. I saved thousands of dollars because I went with this dealership and I have no regrets! Their doc fee is very fair and they correctly taxed my car based on my state sale tax. If you want to buy any Toyota then this is the place to go!

Justin Crenshaw was amazing!! I drove 2-1/2 hours to purchase my car from him. I found the car online on a Wednesday. Was selling my car on Saturday. He made sure everything was completely taken care of so when I arrived on Saturday, buying my new car was such an easy and quick process. He answered all of my questions. Spent a lot of time with me showing me all of the features on my new car. He set my Bluetooth up for me, entered my address into navigation, and made sure my home was in the navigation so I knew how to get home! I would definitely recommend Justin if you are looking for a good, dependable new car.

Hal was extremely helpful in finding us a new RAV4 Hybrid. During the different test drives, he made sure to clearly explain all the safety features and trim level differences as well as the hybrid features that I was interested in. For the trade-in and actual purchase, he patiently described all the paperwork and steps. Never felt pressured during the entire process which was greatly appreciated. The experience getting my transmission oil and rear diff oil changed was quick and affordable. The only reason I put two stars is because they claim to offer a deal on tires that says buy 3 get one for a $1, so I had them quote me new tires. After leaving I called belle tire and ran the same exact tires by them to compare prices and belle was significantly cheaper with NO DEAL goin on! So I knew Toyota’s advertisements were clearly to take advantage of unsuspecting customers! I had belle tire on Southport install new tires and aftermarket rims for $300 more than what Toyota tried to charge for tires only…

My friend bought a 2019 Toyota Rav 4 from This OBrien Toyota and this car started developing a mechanic fault exactly one year. She took it over there and this people told her that there was nothing they can do about it because the 2019 car is now considered an old car. We thought it was just an unfortunate situation and one of those issue. Another person bought another car again, this car lasted 3 months. Eventually when we approach the sales person MO, he said they couldnt do anything to help except my friend buy another car.

Got the used car inspection service, the vehicle had some many issues they determined it to be to expensive to repair, because of that I was given a hand written estimate, after I complained, I was told that if I was willing to get some work done they would be willing to give me a typed estimate, I ask to speak to a manager,I informed the manager that I’m spending $120 and I want more then a hand-written estimate, he then offered to send me a typed estimate in the mail at a later date, but I declined because if you’re willing to give me poor service in the first place you’re not worth doing any further business with

I bought 2014 Toyota Prius on May 2021. They did not clean the car properly after detailing. There are still a lot of dog fur all over the car when I got it and the front engine is dusty. Also they do not even check the tire pressure, evidently my tire needs to be rebalanced and low-pressure. Otherwise the transaction is fine.I do expect better detaling since I paid the full price without negotiating

Waited one hour and forty five minutes for 30,000 mi inspection oil change and tire rotation with specific request to check out tires because light on dash was on. Called prior to appt about coupon for oil change and was told to simply tell CS rep when I checked in. Was passing through town and had my alternator failed. Dealership wasn’t open yet, but Hick Hickerson gave me access to the customer waiting area. Obrien Toyota, and Service Manager Hick Hickerson were extremely accommodating. Was even given a ride to a suitable hotel since a required part needed to be overnighted. Repair ended up being less than quoted. I would highly recommend this dealership for the integrity of its service and parts departments, as well as their high quality mechanics. This is a trifecta that is rarely seen these days, certainly in the automotive industry.

I was questioning the lack of heat blowing on the drivers side floor & made an appointment to bring my 4Runner in. Jake in the service area checked me in & explained everything. I waited in the lounge for a little while and he came to get me & took me back to talk with Luis, the tech. He was also very patient & went over everything with me. My wife and I were very pleased by our experience, purchasing a new vehicle last month. We would without hesitation return to OBrien Toyota for future vehicle purchases and recommend the dealership enthusiastically to other prospective customers.Our salesperson, Wesley Martin, was excellent: He is personable, knowledgeable, and he communicates well - via email, text, and phone, as well as in person. We felt that he assisted us and did not pressure us, which we appreciated.All of the staff members with whom we interacted were pleasant and helpful, and the dealership facility is comfortable and well maintained.The only element of our purchasing experience with which we were less than satisfied occurred at the end, while we were paying for our new vehicle: we were asked to make decisions regarding two protection plans (tire replacement and extended warranty, if I recall correctly), which would have increased our payment amount substantially. It would have been helpful to us to be informed about these options earlier, so we could have given them more careful consideration.We were, on the other hand, impressed after purchasing the vehicle, when we expressed concern to dealership staff regarding a sound that we hear when we release the accelerator pedal. When those with whom we spoke initially could not give us an explanation that satisfied us, the General Manager of the dealership, Kyle Bond, offered to assist us: he listened to our concern, discussed it with a Toyota Master Technician, and conveyed to us a very helpful explanation. We were delighted.

WONDERFUL! Fabulous. Let me as a proud Mother of a 25 year old full-time college student, full-time employee and part time National Guard Army son. Obviously, he is a very responsible man. Who is not mechanically inclined with vehicles. Who doesnt pay attention to most of the small things because he is full-time into everything hes working hard to accomplish every day. He has been driving a 2004 Grand Prix GT, with an exhaust leak into the cab, broken windshield and etc. I worry every second of every day that the vehicle, traffic or random street violence will harm my son. Brandon, my son, finally decides to upgrade vehicles. Instead of doing a trade in with said vehicle, is going to donate it to a homeless woman in need. So... By the time we reached the showroom door, a gentleman was holding the door open with a friendly welcoming smile, ready to assist us. Lets start with presentation of facility and employees. Exceptional and professional. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Mike was our salesman and he became a part of our family immediately. He worked to not only put my son in a safe vehicle but for as little money as possible. 5 stars Mike and Toyota dealership. Not only is my son extremely happy, this mom has many less worries as well. I brought my Prius in for a regular (not hybrid) battery replacement. I was quite pleased with the turn around time - finished in an hour, without appointment. The cost was similar to quotes I received from stores that retail batteries, so I did not feel as though I was being overcharged. The service representative, Andrew, was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. My experience on this occasion is consistent with other visits to this dealership for Toyota vehicle service. I would most definitely recommend the dealership to others.

I had some dash lights come on and made an appointment here. I waited 3 hours and paid $200 for their service. They said I was good to go. An hour later the lights came back on.

Sales person Rich have no intention of selling a vehicle to us. What a waste of time. I think we were judged by how casual we look for the day and as I said please call me back if any additional discounts please call us back, he did not even took our number. He just seemed to care nothing about his job and indeed he is very bad at it. If he have our phone number we can have it resolved, but now guess what?

I first took my vehicle to Obrien Toyota last week for an oil change. I was told first my appointment was not on the books. I was then told  that the appointment was in there but it didn’t take in the system . I was told I had to make another appointment and come back on Monday. On Monday  I arrived and I told the person who checked me in and I had a coupon and he was rude just looked at it. Then he took my car back for an oil change and I was waiting and waiting and  I saw my car over to the side and nobody came out to let me know it was finished. I walked towards my car and that’s when the guy walked over to ask my name. I was extremely disappointed with the service and the attitude of the employees.

Everyone was very nice and polite. They explained everything that was done and what would need to be done in the future along with prices. They even went and brought my car to the front so I wouldn’t have to walk in in the ice and snow! Was very pleased with everything.

I am new to this City and finding someone you can trust is very hard with cars! Every person here is really genuine and honest. I got an inconvenient unplanned random bad gas experience (even the City confirmed) and Toyota was quick to help me, it was seamless in drop off and communication (even with my chaos of balancing the tow truck guy and conference calls), and they really try and do what’s best for you. They tell you honestly what’s necessary and what’s recommended and that helps me to budget so I can make the decisions to make my car last. Techs are super skilled and service people are really nice and quick for those of us who are busy, on the phone and in person. Check out is quick and efficient. From oil changes to regular maintenance to random accidents like yesterday, they are very trustworthy and quality work: thank you!
