Can someone address this ant infestation in my apartment?! Please and thank you! I called 2 weeks ago. Its sad I have to leave a review in order to get service and I pay rent. Also when I signed my lease I was specifically advised this was the landlords responsibility FYI! Lets be responsible for our roles and accountable for our actions or the lack their of!
Getting ahold of the office staff is near impossible.I have been calling since last Friday, still no answer thru this morning.
No one in the office so rent can be paid. It is now the 8th and late fees are supposed to start on the 5th. The furnace has caught fire, wait FOREVER for maintenance to get anything fixed, and now NO WAY to contact ANYONE! What the hell is going on?

I dont think i have been so disappointed. I had my car towed in a time when the country is struggling. I know that my car was parked in non vistor spot. But there is TONS of spot open so i was not taking up anyone spot. Also a sticker to warn individuals AT THIS TIME would have been greatly appreciated now not only do i have to figure out how to get my car out, because i am a teacher assistant i have to replace that 150 to pay rent to a company that could have made a better decision in this time.
I called and the office personal were very informative, she answered all my questions and set up a time for viewing. I followed the steps I was given to apply and one day later I was signing paperwork. Looking forward to moving into my apartment in April.
If I could, I wouldnt put a star at all. This place use to run smoothly and had order. Now management is a joke. When I first moved into these apartments there were no issues. Management updated us on everything. The new lease information and what not. Maintenance came and fixed your issues the day you called. Now management will tell you maintenance will get to it, when they get to it. It use to be so organized and now they lose paperwork saying you didnt turn it. When I first moved in the lease agreement said theyre were three breeds that werent allowed. Rottweilers, pitbulls, and German shepherds. I was trying to renew my lease with my American Bulldog. The lady freaked out saying that they are aggressive dogs and it goes against our lease. When I had informed her that there was only three breeds of aggressive dogs on the lease she got snappy and told us that they were unacceptable.Now they want to charge me left and right for everything and its bad enough I can barely pay the rent. Im trying to move out and they still havent turn in my new lease and they want to charge me a termination fee. I have nothing against the company of Herman & kittle its just a management that runs the place.
I was excited to visit till I read your pet policy is outrageous and verges on inhumane. 1. telling people they must be house trained (no puppies or kittens) means no adopting from humane shelters (they dont come with such information). 2. Making it law that one has to use a SEALED (making Ziplock rich) bag can cause environmental issues for poo to return to its natural state (my current apartment has non-sealed bags you can use). 3. Charging 30 dollars for someone to pick up your animal feces... do you charge for DNA samples?This is on top of the 35 dollar a month charge per pet... (mine was 300 deposit for life with a dog and a cat). If you love animals at any degree... you might want to look elsewhere.
A friend of mine is looking for a place to rent and got the Canterbury house on a list. We had to look for the right number 3 different times before we got one to live a message at. You need to place a working number on you website so people can reach a leasing agent.
This place simply is terrible. Its ok, if youre ok with mold in the walls and under sinks. Its also ok for kids, if you want exposed wiring coming out of AC condensors. Outside of that, great place.
Wow. What on top my list but now on bottom! Seemed like a nice place with great amenities. but if they dont deliver then no use to me.
I have been in my apartment for two years now. It was really cool at the beginning but now we have had two or three different managers and Kristy was the one that was there the longest and she was wonderful and she recently left. They are so unprofessional you call they dont return your phone calls I have two kids who are under the age of seven and I havent had any air for almost 4 days now. I have call emergency maintenance no one has called back it is ridiculous how unprofessional they are I just renewed my lease for 2017 two months ago and just got a letter a week ago for renewal of 2018 this place is so crazy its unbelievable how unprofessional they are but they have no problem processing your money. My advice to anybody who plans to move out there just to make sure the property manager has been there and theyre consistent and actually know what theyre doing because right now this place is going through a lot and They do not care about their residence at all. Considering I have been waiting on somebody to call me back for almost 5 days. Also on the answer machine is days if theyre open a certain amount of days in the sun amount of times well if you go up there on the days and times that they say theyre not open which is Saturday from 10 till whatever time theyre not there and no one answers the phone
They state they are open Saturdays from 10-3, I arrived at 1:26 this past Saturday and no one was there. I have been trying for over a month to turn in my app and money order to no avail! How is anyone who works a full time job M-F 9-6 supposed to turn anything back in? If their hours are not what is stated on the automated line ( you always get instead of a human) when calling?

Ive called this place interested in moving in. I called them on a Tuesday and its been over a week and Ive never gotten a call back. There hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday and Ive showed up there multiple times hours before they close and the door is locked every time. If these people cant return my call or be there when I come before theyre closed then its definitely not a place I want to live at. Very unprofessional!!
For an apartment community who would like clients to move in they sure lack customer service. I have been trying to call this COMPANY for the past week and have left three message with a NO return phone call. I will be taking my business some where else..
I contacted this property today with no issues. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and I was pleased with the customer service. I am looking forward to this being my new place to live.
I love these apartments my sister use to live in these apartments I am moving here after Christmas bring tax time
This apartment complex and its parent company Herman and Kittle, care nothing about its residence. I have been trying to get someone from the parent company to call me back for a week to deal with the employees they have on site....Needless to say I have still not heard from the parent company and the people in the office are blaming them and compliance for something that should have been handled a month ago. I called today to speak to someone in the office, the office lady answered the phone and said, We are closed on Wednesdays. Very unprofessional, and the sad thing is I have been a resident of this apartment complex for over a year, never late on my rent, never had any complaints, and yet I am being treated as if they could give a damn about what Im saying. Im sure this review will be deleted just like all the other negative reviews I posted prior to this. My next call is to HUD to make them aware that this company and its office staff do what the hell they want and when they want. My income has been verified, yet Im still being charged a higher rate, due to the fact that they office staff cant/wont get their things together!!
Lived here for several years and recently moved but My kids still gets dropped off at the complex by the school bus. I wait there pick them up and go home. Today I was approached the racist Janitor/maintaninence guy all aggressive...Kris said what yall doing over here, yall dont live here I proceeded to tell my reason and he left. I went to the office but is was closed. I wanted to ask her what was the issue all of a sudden. So like a man I waved down the guy and asked him..he said I looked suspcious and he has to police the neighborhood because he lives here and he has a right to feel safe. I was confused and basically ended the conversation by telling him dont walk up to my car like he did and basically its other ways that could have been handled. Went back to my waiting spot and 5 mins later a police shows up telling us we banned from the property and we would be arressted if we come back. So now we have to try and change our kids drop spot because this racist ass guy...This is the 3rd time I dealt with race issues here...I will be taking legal action. Stay clear of this place.
Everything you all have said about not answering, having to wait on a call back, as well as impatience in servicing possible new tenants is true. How unfortunate !
