Worst customer service ever! They don’t return phone calls and the office manager doesn’t respond to emails. My trash was missed on Tuesday. Called the office and spoke to Alex. Was told Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday someone would come by to pick up our overflowing container. Never showed up!! Drove by our house each afternoon and still didn’t pick it up. Terrible, horrible, and rotten customer service!! We will be looking for another company. On another note my husband called to ask for a big container for a home project several weeks back, no surprise there they never return his call for that service either! This employees, managers, and owners have proven that customers service is of no priority to them!HuntersShelley, ID

Being new to the area, we used PSI because it was a continuation of what the previous owners used. We called PSI to get an additional trash can and also have the old one replaced with a new one. 4 weeks went by with neither a new trash can or additional can. We canceled services and started using Trashman (highly recommend). When we canceled we were told that the one blue trash can would be picked up - it is now 5 weeks later and its STILL in our front yard waiting to be picked up. We have called multiple times and they say its on their order to be picked up.Trashman was able to bring us 2 new trash cans and they come to the garage to the house to get our cans, all for about the same price as PSI. So happy we switched over to this new company.PSI is a joke.

Canceled service over 5 weeks ago. We’ve called regularly and they continue to commit to come pick up the container but never show up. Not a good experience doing business with them. But they’re always on time to collect your money. Going on my 6th week with a container in my driveway waiting for them.

Ive tried calling them the last 3 days in a row now at various times of the day, only hold music. No one has ever picked up the phone. I just need my garbage can removed from my house I cancelled the service before memorial day and I still have the can.

It has now been 2 weeks since we requested a garbage can at our new house. When I call, I get the same answer that our account will be marked as urgent. I also dont get any kind of answer as to when we might get one (2 days 2 months) - the sales representative refuses to give any kind of timeline. Needless to say,we will probably need to go with a different company who actually wants our business.I wish I wouldve read the reviews sooner. Lots of 1 stars for a reason.

Their garbage truck ran over our can. I called and they said they would bring us another can. We are still waiting and no can yet. It’s been a week now. Customer service is also terrible and ignorant. I wish someone would open a new trash service and I would switch..

Im not sure what the negative reviews are about. These guys are always on time. When pickups have been postponed I always receive a phone call. One week when i forgot to put my garbage out, I called and they were able to pick up my trash bin and deliver a new one the following day so i wouldnt be stuck with that trash for another week. Any time I call they are always very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company.

Im paying for weekly pickup and have constant excuses why they cant pick up this week. Trucks are always broken down, they say. Only getting garbage pickup every 2 weeks if that. Called and told a manager would call back. Ya right. Wanted my bill cut in half because that is the service they are giving me. Told sorry, but no.

From the moment that PSI acquired Grandpas Trash the customer service has went to the gutter. It took them 3 weeks to bring me a new can after the wheel fell off the one I had and the one they brought me was missing the front handle so even with the lid shut it smelled. Asked them to replace it and they said thats what they had available. They have missed it multiple times especially in the winter after the plows go by. The lady that answers is also condescending and is no help what so ever. Dont use them. Im changing back to a locally owned company where they actually take some pride in the service they provide.

I’ve been at my location for 11 years- I’m missing grandpas trash. Last week the pick up truck ran over my garbage can had to request a new one- On top that Tire tracks all through my field. The next week no pick up on the day of pick up. I called and well SOL. I asked for a deduction off my bill since I pay for a service which wasn’t provided. I could careless about 5.41 bucks weekly to pick up my trash. It’s the principle of it. I’ll be looking else where.

This company is SHADY!!!!!! I would give them a negative star if I could not even a 0. We hired them to do a job for us in June of this year. We agreed on a delivery and dumpster use fee. The customer asked to push the start date back a couple of days, not us. We asked PSI to delay the delivery date of the dumps. They said okay but never said that they would charge a $70 fee for each day, for two days of delay. Then a few times, we asked them to not drive all the way out to the job and pick the dump up to empty it because we did not have it anywhere near full. We wanted to save them a trip and time but apparently they dont like that. They charged us 7 fees of $140 each for not needing them to drive out to empty the dump. Then they show up at our office (yes late on our end) because we havent paid, and them expecting payment (having charged late fees) which is fine but we never received a bill in the first place. It would be nice to receive a bill to be paid before a random man shows up at our office very rude might I add to collect a bill you never received in the first place. So many hidden fees it isnt even funny. They print out a bill (eventually you will get it) when they are threatening you with collections and hope you wont look deeply at the bill to see all the hidden fees and just pay it. When we looked at the bill they did refund a couple of fees because they charged us for days we didnt even hire them for.

We have had this company since Grandpas service discontinued a couple of years ago. We have two carts and they have been good about pickups and service. We can call about any questions and get an answer promptly. Their prices are reasonable and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for garbage service.

We were with Grandpas prior to PSI. Our service has been good, but at times our garbage can does not get completely emptied. They are consistently on time. I always appreciated the discount Grandpas offered for making a yearly payment. PSI did that last year, which was our first year with them. This year to get that discount I am writing a review. We used to be with Grandpas trash and they would give one free month if you paid for a whole year. PSI did it also last year. We called this year and they told us the they would give the same discount IF and only IF we gave them a review online. My wife got of the phone and thought that they said a GOOD review, but my wife wasnt totally sure if they said GOOD or if she just thought that. So I called and they didnt say it needed to be a good review, just to post online. However, the lady talking with me sure seemed cautious (since she might have been asked the same question 20 minutes prior by my wife). Maybe my wife was wrong or one of the customer service rep. is changing what she says. Anyway, it seemed a little iffy, giving a discount if you post online. Plus, I thought PSI was going to honor the same deal everyone had with Grandpas. Other than this they are reasonable, with only minor complaints.Follow On Post:I got a call from PSI to explain their side. (Which I appreciate) They said they cant continue doing the yearly discount and they only giving this discount to get customer feedback and were only offering the discount this week. Now, if they had said they wanted customer feedback when my wife and I called, then I wouldnt have posted that they had the appearance of buying reviews. But I find it strange that its only for this week. Either they are trying to cover their tracks if they were telling people to post a good review OR maybe they realized the approach wasnt good OR they are telling the truth. So, if anyone was offered this discount to post last week or next week, please post. I want to know if I am dealing with people who are honest or lairs.P.S. Sorry to all those who are not going to get the discount because of my post (since they said this week only). We were recently switched to PSI from Granpas trash service and it has been pretty seamless other than pickup is not all holidays and that is just fine. Sometimes our trash can doesnt get completely emptied so that is the reason for 4 stars, but thats not every time. No other problems as of right now and Im happy with the service. I have called in to speak with customer service and theyve always been helpful and courteous.

My experience both personally and professionally has been nothing less than fantastic with PSI! Since taking over Grandpas Trash Services at our residence we have had zero issues with trash pickup. Professionally, I interact with PSI on a frequent basis and again have found all of their representative to be so easy to work with. They go out of their way to be involved in the communities they serve and give back through various service projects and have donated free dumpsters for Christmas disposal in our City. I would highly recommend their services!

They went out of their way to visit my son, whose a garbage truck lover, and explain to him the ins and outs of garbage trucks. It was an awesome experience. Absolutely the best service we have ever had! The office staff was very helpful and setting up service was a breeze!! Ive had my cart for two weeks and forgot to put it out the second week. The driver ran up and grabbed my cart, dumped it, and put it back. Highly recommend!!!!

Ive never lived anywhere where the trash company frequently leaves the can half full like these guys. They did it three times in 4 months. The weirdest one was that there was completely loose stuff on top! There was an old tennis shoe on the top of what was left! How is that even possible? And we have never packed it tightly. Ive been an adult for 15 years and have never seen this kind of incompetence. They offered to change out our can in case that was the problem, but the real problem is the trash guys, guaranteed.

When PSI first took over Grandpas trash it was quite the headache. They missed various canisters at different locations weekly. The frustrating part was book keeping. I had to call numerous times to get the addresses loaded in the route directory. Finally the manager got things straightened out after a heated phone conversation. The drivers and service crews are great!! Quit a few times the past two years, the drivers have moved my canisters out and dumped them when Ive forgotten. The service crew has been good about replaceing defective containers. I give them a five star rating! Companies have issues with people and service from time to time. PSI had a problem and fixed it, lots of companies dont address issues and the problem still continues. Great past two years of service even though it got off to a rocky start.

A letter to PSI.For around 20 years we have been a customer of PSI Environmental Systems. We used your service in 2 different homes. About 10 years ago, we set our bank account to pay you automatically so that you were always paid, same time, every time. It was easy for me because I did not have to worry about it and I figured it was nice for your company because you ALWAYS received payment from me. Last week, your truck skipped our garbage container. We called to ask why and we were informed that we were around $7 behind so you suspended our account and instructed your driver to leave our full garbage container on the street - untouched. Over $7. Apparently when you raised your rates, we did not adjust our bank bill pay - like I said - its not something I worried about.This is how you treat 20 year customers??? Perhaps a phone call would have been in order thanking us for our 20 years of patronage and excellent payment history and oh, by the way, we raised our rates, could you adjust your bill pay? Instead, you leave garbage in my driveway??? Customer service lapse or perhaps you just dont care? We have cancelled our service and have gone with your competitor in our area. I just thought you should know why you are losing customers, I will be letting my friends and neighbors know how we were treated by your company, and I will also use the internet and social media to share my story regarding your company. I own a business myself and I know the importance of a long term customer, perhaps you should learn that yourselves.

Absolutely terrible customer service. There is a minimum 5 minute wait for your call to be answered, no matter if you call first thing in the morning or in the afternoon. I asked them to pick up my trash when I forgot to take it out and they said someone would pick it up. I called the next day to make sure someone was coming since it was midafternoon and no one had come yet and was assured there was a ticket for it. Never happened. And when I called after the weekend to ask them to come get my trash I was told that no one would be in the area until Thursday, a full week after I had first called. I guess it makes sense that their customer service is trash.

Generally they dont keep us informed of changes in pickups and wet have no explanation for why they have not come this week. I tried calling and theyre not open until Monday. PSI Environmental took over our garbage service in June 2016.....And have been terrible! Garbage cans left on their side every week up and down the road we live on with garbage everywhere, happening every week. Days totally missed with no efforts to make amends and come get it later in the week or credit our account. We have to call them to find out what happened. When we call them, they are more worried about getting their next payment then making things right! It is worth the 30 minutes every Saturday to run to the dump! Terrible terrible service all they way around! One month with these people and we are out!When I called with my concerns, they were hardly concerned with my questions and were happy to cancel my service. A little goes long way when working with people....which they do not seem to understand.

These people drive me crazy! On a day when the Post Office and schools are closed, they pick up trash. But on a normal day with no problems, they dont. When I finally called to ask why they didnt pick up the trash they said oh they had maintenance problems with the truck. But instead of contacting their customers and communicating like a normal business, they chose to wait until their customers contacted them. They did send out a trash truck the day I called to collect my trash however. Doesnt seem to be a very efficient way of running a business. The not very nice receptionist said that people should just leave their trash out until its picked up. Maybe the next day, maybe not. What?? As for the day that I assumed was a holiday, when I called to ask if they could come and pick up my trash on another day, I was told they would not. Im tempted just to take my trash to the dump every week!

They do not show up but do not reschedule either and they DO NOT refund anything. They do not answer their phone, they do not try to make anything right. They just tell you to stack trash up until the next week. If you listen to their recording they say they give 100% satisfaction BS!!!! They do not give a damn.

Poor service, do not pick up on schedule, make excuses that they cant get up my driveway when we can drive our Honda Accord up no problem. Cant do trash because roads are bad, then do not show next day. You can bet they wont refund your money though. Plowed the driveway last week wide enough for 3 trash trucks. Their driver got to the end and took a hard turn off into the ditch (probably on the phone, definitely not paying attention. I clear my drive enough so they can turn around with no problem but they choose to back all the way down our lane... 10 years with Grandpas trash service with no problems and not once missed service. PSI cant even get up the driveway, missed service several times, never know when they will show.

When PSI bought Grandpas I was afraid that PSI would increase our rates, but they also offered the same discount which was refreshing.Then this year, I call to ask about the 1 year discount and they said they no longer offer it. My dumpster was delivered on time, the driver called me on his way to my house to confirm, when he arrived he also called to inquire where to place it and even left the dumpster gate open for me. The customer service reps answered all my questions and the billing process was easy.

I have been pleased with the service that we have had. I forgot to get our garbage out one morning, and I simply called and they sent the driver back to our house, since he was still in the area. Overall, I would recommend them for their garbage services. One thing that I do not appreciate is that they will not give the discount that our prior service offered for paying a full year in advanced. I found this to be very frustrating, and thought that they would still honor that discount.

Currently have their service. The website for setting up auto payments is a joke. Litterally trying to give these guys my business but payments get rejected on their website. Card is good, bank account is good so error is on their end. After no notification that there were any payment issues I knew something was wrong after 3 weeks of them just leaving trash at the end of my drive way. I get non payment means no service but when I get a confirmation email saying payment was successful and go into the website a few weeks later and it says payment error on that payment its a little rediculous. Everything should be squared away. Really bad service and if its not resolved by pick up this week Ill be dropping them. I recommend if you want ease of auto pay try a different trash service.

Extremely disappointed in their service. We were switched to them from Grandpas. Never had an issue with Grandpas. Very inconsistent pick up times. They didnt pick up when it snowed and I had to call and ask and THEN they offered to credit my account. Customer Service told me they would not pick up on a public holiday and to put it out the next day. That didnt work for Martin Luther King Day. Ive now gone 3 weeks without any garbage pickup. We are choosing another garbage service.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to our garbage man. We were up to our gills with garbage from the Christmas holidays and I had sick kids and no on put the garbage can out. He saw it, got out, came clear down my driveway and hauled it out there for me. He even picked up some loose garbage on the ground (I had just come out to scrape my windshield and start my car). We were previously customers of Grandpas Trash and always could count on pickup on the scheduled day and an annual payment discount. PSI has been good to work with though they havent been as consistent as Grandpas was. They do not pickup on holidays but have come the following day (this was communicated in the notification that was made when they acquired Grandpa’s). Nice for the drivers to be able to enjoy the holiday with their families! They missed us one week when the roads were badly drifted (don’t know if they tried to notify us but if they did we missed it). After leaving the dumpster out at the road for a couple of days I notified them and they said that they would not be picking up that week and gave us a credit on our account. Though they have not managed to keep up with Grandpas spotless record they have managed to improve greatly and are doing a good job now. At this point the only complaints I have is that they do not offer a discounted annual payment option and I still believe that there is room for improvement in the area of communications.

We have been a PSI customer for about the last 20 years with no problems, we even have our account set up so the payment is taken out of our bank account automatically. However, here lately our garbage has been skipped every other week and has not been picked up for the last 3 weeks. When I checked my bank account the money for this cycles payment has been taken out. We have not received any letters or phone calls letting us know that there is a problem. They took over Grandpas trash service, who i had been with for over 5 years with no problems. Once PSI started doing our trash, they are EXTREMELY inconsistent with their pick up times. One week its at 6:30 am, the next week its not until 6:30 at night, during the day living in the country, animals get into trashes, so you have to pick up trash everywhere. Neighbors trashes have been forgotten to get picked up. I dont know, I just havent been too impressed since the switch, I will be looking for another trash service.

Weve had a hell of a time with these guys. Grampas always came at the same time, regardless of holiday, an if for some reason you missed a pickup they were awesome about having someone swing by to make it up for you - just because. They always made sure they got everything, left the trash can right side up, it was great. These guys? Theyve missed days, left the trash can tipped over, emptied our trash and had half of it still left in the receptacle . . . not gonna lie, its been awful. I miss Grampas.

Very disappointed in this trash company. They have been unreliable in their service in many ways. Sometimes, even for months in a row, our trash has been dumped on neighbors land, the side of the road, our land, instead of going into the truck. Also, some employees are very friendly and helpful and some others are hostile and not helpful. They do miss picking up the trash part of the time. When you call to let them know about a problem, the front office often treats you badly so that you feel youve been abused by someone who doesnt care about getting you good trash service. Need trash service but dont know how to get reliability and good service from this company.

I would give no stars if possible. Changed the trash day to Wednesday Starting June 6th. Then the trash came this morning they changed it to Tuesday without any warning and letting anyone know. But I bet they still want the bill paid. Well this is unacceptable behavior for a company. they need to fix it and not tell me just put it in bags on the side of the road and we will pick them up. We have never had any problems with our service. But I know they recently bought out Grandpas trash and went through some big changes. But I think they have figured out the problem, and I know our area has been getting serviced.

We love PSI. They have been so good about keeping to a schedule. We can count on them to perform to our expectation. A time or two, when we have forgotten to take our garbage out to the curb until the very last moment, they have waited a few minutes for us as I ran the garbage can out to the curb in my robe hoping not to miss the garbage pickup. haha Once in a while I have had more garbage than I have had garbage can, and I have put an additional box of garbage out by our overfilled garbage can and they have picked that up for as well with no additional charge. This is the kind of customer service that will make me stay with PSI for the long haul.

Yesterday I observed a PSI driver clean up trash that spilled out of a can as he was dumping it in Bonneville County. He could have just left it and let the wind blow it away, but he went the extra mile and got out of his truck to clean up the mess. Great Customer Service. Thank you.

I had Grandpas Trash previously and they were pleasant to work with and were able to set me up on 6 month or 1 year payments which made things easy. PSI bought them out and it all went downhill from there. Initially they had tied my neighbors bill to my service so when it didnt get paid, they took my trash can and not my neighbors. Ive had more than once that theyve skipped picking up my garbage despite making sure there was nothing blocking it. The most recent issue ive had is ive given them my billing address three different times and they havent updated it so I never receive the bill. This meant I never got an account and invoice number to pay online, so I would call PSI and they rarely ever answer their phones. It puts me on hold for a few minutes and then sends me to voicemail which I dont get response from. The last communication I had with them, the rep that I spoke with hung up on me because I asked to speak with a manager. Needless to say after this lengthy review/rant, I will be cancelling their service and going with Eagle Rock Sanitation which most of my neighborhood has also done.

I have had a dumpster at my house for almost 5 years. They have been super stellar, at customer service, safety (never backing into my stuff) my driver does an awesome job always has a smile on his face, goes above and beyond. That man deserves a raise. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors!

You have other options. Eagle Rock sanitation does rural areas. Former employee here. I started and received no training for two weeks. When i did get trained on a route, it was by a gentleman from California who didnt even know the routes. Thatvwas ten days of following poor maps, and a route sheet that was not even sequenced. Drivers have to violate DOT service hours because corporate cant get it under control. Eagle Rock Sanitation is at least local. I worked at PSI and even my trash was missed several times. Lol

Dont really want to give any stars!!!! Had grandpas trash and they were great...service since PSI bought them out has sucked. My garbage hasnt been picked up a few times, days changed from wed to tue, got picked up last week on time, this week on Monday they pulled in and dumped my trash when I wasnt even expecting it, so finished herring my trash our for the tue, my garbage day and they never came and dumped it, v even though a representative said theyd be back out today! Wish there was another option for the area I live in!!!!
