They rebuilt my 700R4 transmission for a fair price. Great quality work. Truck runs like a champ now. Also had my other vehicle break down in their parking lot as I was bringing them the broken transmission for my truck. They came out and helped me repair it right then and there, for no cost! (Minor repair but still). Great customer service, great price, great quality.

We were in Idaho Falls on vacation from a couple of states away and the transfer case in my truck failed, Ray, Dennis and the crew were able to locally source a rebuilt case and change out the bad one in a day to get us back on the road in spite of being really busy in their shop. Great company to deal with

I do not trust most mechanics, and mechanics shops. They try to rip you off, or make up problems to get you to pay more. These guys are honest and professional. They do that here. I came in for a transition fluid change, and a fluid change for my cars 4 wheel drive. They changed the transition fluid, but not the other fluid I asked for. Turns out the dealership lied about it needing changed, but were honest and saved a good $200 bucks that the dealership would have just pocketed and likely done nothing. Honesty means a lot to me when it comes to business. And these guys are honest.

These guys are true professionals! Came in under quote and under the time he estimated. Did a full rebuild on my 1 ton transmission and they really stand by thier work. I looked into quite a few places around and most all shops rebuild to stock, they do much needed upgrades as a standard procedure which is what you need. I wont recommend anyone else. Its hard to find shops with integrity now days but thats not a worry with these guys.

Ray and the folks at Northgate Transmission were simply outstanding helping us resolve a long standing transmission problem. They were always courteous, very fair in their pricing for a difficult problem and stayed with their original quoted price when the task became more challenging. They also stuck by their warranty and helped get a new part from the manufacturer to resolve the first problem and then helped us look for solutions with the on board computer to solve the final problem. This is a top notch organization.

Transmission went out on a Monday morning, my warranty was set to expire on Wednesday, Northgate Transmission got my truck in the shop that day, diagnosed the Transmission and got the claim started so I was covered. Warranty people sent a transmission right away, and due to waiting on parts for another vehicle, they had my truck finished on Friday morning! These guys ROCK!

Fixed our transmission for a fair price. Staff was very kind in person, not so much over the phone. Didnt fill up our fluids though. So that was not the best. Though, will probably go again if we ever have any issues.

The best mechanic in town. Wont over charge or add stuff that doesnt need done. Honest, friendly and knowledgeable. Only place we use for all our vehicles.

Northgate was very friendly. I took my Honda passport in because the 4 wheel drive was stuck and needed a new transfer case. While my SUV was there I had them do a lot of other miscellaneous things. Lets just say it was over a 1000.00 dollars. They were very prompt and completed all my requests. I just got my oil change from them this past week. Thanks again Northgate for being great 😊
