Planet Fitness truly is a safe zone. The employees take all the necessary precautions to help keep it safe during this pandemic. PF is a great outlet to exercise! I love it! ❤💯

I still cant believe that a gym with so much equipment and amenities is only $10/month! I have been a Planet Fitness member for almost two years now, and I have never had a bad experience at the Huntsville location. Everything is always clean, the employees are so nice, and there is plenty of room to spread out (including during COVID-19). I used to spend twice the amount each month at my previous gym, and it had half of the equipment AND it was much older than PFs machines. Overall, Im very happy with my PF experience!

I feel SAFE at this gym, both physically and mentally. Theres no bro-dudes walking around intimidating anyone. Love that there is a dress code. No one tries to sell me anything, and Im left alone to do my workout. I know that there is help if I ask, but Im not bothered while Im there. The hydro-message beds are worth the $20 monthly all on their own. I also love the location, its right on my way home.

I absolutely love this gym. I have been going for a few years now off and on. I have had four spinal surgeries and each time I was able to freeze my account until I was able to return. You will see all sizes and shapes here. Young and old. I never feel self-conscious working out here. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help if you have a question. I highly recommend this place.

Im in love with their hydrobed. There are so many different types of machines to workout in. Its amazing. And they are super clean.

Yesterday evening i had a chance to stop here at this location and the staff was amazing. The young guy Deontae gave me an absolute amazing tour and had a very positive attitude. The best gym ive been to by far in Huntsville

I have had gym memberships in the past but none as good a Plant Fitness. They have great equipment and enough that I hardly ever find myself having to wait. They keep the gym very clean so it never has that “gym smell.” And for $10 a month, no on can touch the value they offer.

Went to this Planet Fitness as a guest with my friend. Never been to a PF and my friend was trying to sell me on the water massage. Well Isabella accosted me acting like I was trying to scam them by even being a guest. She said I needed to download the planet fitness app and my friend would also have to do that to send me an invite. Her energy was very much uninviting and she seemed to be management! She said I couldn’t do the water massage but “I guess I’ll allow you to use the chair massage” she gave me one token for 5 minutes….very dry Stacy Dash energy from her. Now there is no way in hell I’m joining. I’ll pay extra for the YMCA…

This is a great gym. Im not sure what else it would need to make it better. Numerous weight machines throughout along with a couple full sets of free weights / dumb bells Plus all the cardio machines such as Stairmasters one could imagine. The place is HUGE.The Staff is very friendly and accommodating.Laid back environment.

Very clean establishment! I always receive amazing customer service. However, the locker rooms need a scale.

They work on maintaining a culture of inclusion and support. The facility is clean and organized. Everything you need for any type of exercise is there. The gym includes amenities such as a shower room, the hydro-massage, and tanning. I love the crowd meter on the PF app. Bullies and pigs know they cant harass people or run people off.

The machines were nice and functioned well, however I was disappointed in other aspects. I wanted to use a locker for my belongings, but here they needed an actual lock, not a code. I was also unable to use the massage/tanning facilities even though I have those member privileges.

We love going to planet fitness. Its a great experience and you dont have to wait for machines... The massage chair and hydro bed are a bonus❤️

For the most part the people are friendly and considerate. Both the people who are employees and those who pay to workout. They have wonderful equipment, and I think anyone will enjoy working out there.

Staff is either hit or miss with how friendly they are. But 8 x out of 10 they have been wonderful. Tanning beds are great! Black Card is worth every penny!!!!!

I have left a terrible review before, but things are back to normal. Probably because I left a terrible review, things have totally turned around with what I thought was the most important thing is customer service with a decent attitude. The guys here are always super nice especially the guys who have been here the entire time I’ve been a member almost a year and a half now. But thanks planet fitness for switching it up and helping your customers out!

I like this place especially since they went 24/7. That was my biggest complaint honestly. The staff is pretty chill and cool, the people there are mostly friendly which is awesome, and the cleanliness is awesome. Plenty of equipment and free weights to choose from, so yeah. I give this place a 10/10

I love Planet Fitness!! Everyone is very helpful. The gym is always clean. I never have any issues working out here.

The setup, atmosphere and employees were nice. Unlike the Madison PF, I was disappointed that mostly all disinfectant stations were either inoperable with paper towel dispensers empty or paper towels were outside of dispenser. Equipment i.e. treadmills and bikes etc, were not properly labeled for social distancing.

I have literally been to PF locations all over the country. I am fortunate and grateful that this is my home location. I love it! It’s one of my two favorites I’ve ever been to. Plenty of floor space and equipment. (I’ve been to so many locations that felt so cramped that I just didn’t care for it.) Good vibes. They keep it super clean too.I am disappointed that Malachi no longer works there though. He worked there for a long time and was a familiar, friendly, welcoming and professional person.Also, for the people that are complaining about security and safety... That is not the fault of the gym itself. I agree that there are some sketch people sometimes that are there super early in the morning outside. I generally ignore them or just try to get into the gym quickly and to my car quickly. Some mornings when police cars are parked near the building, I feel better. But there’s nothing saying that you can’t be strapped and ready if you don’t feel safe. But don’t blame it on the gym for god sake. Honestly, I have been going to this location for over three years and I don’t feel that it’s terribly unsafe. You just have to be aware of your surroundings and vigilant. Personally, growing up in a big city has already prepared me with those skills though.

Clean, has tanning and lots of equipment to choose from, nice locker rooms, plenty of cleaning stations around the gym. I havent used the hydromassage but they have that too. Plus you cant possibly beat the price.

They do not have scales to weigh yourself. What kind of gym wouldn’t have a scale if their main clients are trying to lose weight. Also, no sauna. Which is a bummer! Bring scales to PF!

I’m only giving this 5 stars on the days that Malachi works. And honestly they need to start noticing and appreciating the good employees they got. I work at night so I come in late(usually after 1am) and I have been coming for a year or two. And Malachi is always made my visits great. And to be honest all the other employees show no care and u have to wait for someone to check in cause they aren’t paying attention to the counter or on their phone or laptop. Not Malachi. He is always on top of his job. Very knowledgeable about equipment. Very professional. And very sweet and happy. I don’t like the day shift team just because they are rude. Thanks Malachi for being so kind to me and doing ur job!

So, Ive been super avoiding the gym because it seems like such a risk and it is. HOWEVER, the way that planet fitness has set up everything makes me feel actually safe to go back now. People are super respectful and they have someone who is just cruising around just to spot clean stuff, as well. Its pretty cool. Thanks PF!

I love going here. The atmosphere is nice and motivating and I really do feel like I enter into a no judgement zone! So glad i started my membership here!! And they are on top of sanitization and making sure the gym does whats needed to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

I have been a Black Card Member of PF going on three years in July:) I feel at Home with PF in general...I truly feel Amazing after every workout!

I absolutely love this place! You can exercise can all in the same place. You cannot beat the monthly price anywhere. And even with the whole covid-19 Towing oh, they are very aware and are practicing safe social distance between equipment which allows us to still be able to go there. I think this place is awesome I would definitely recommend to anybody!

A very clean gym, the only negative is they refuse to buy more adjustable benches I love to use the benches for dumbbell presses have been coming here for 2 years and instead of buying more benches there are less here now than there was before I just dont understand its such a nice tune why they refuse to buy more benches.

Mel and Craig were so wonderful and helpful. We recently had some friends move to Huntsville and they were incredibly patient, friendly, and professional. Mel more than anything really wonderful. She stayed with us despite a language barrier. I’m incredibly impressed.

Great staff and facility, although the people training their own clients on the machines can be annoying.

Most of the staff is friendly. They greet people and know how to handle their customers. But one person does not greet or say much when spoken to. Sometimes I feel I should apologize to her for my intrusions.

The worst planet fitness I have ever been to. Staff racial profiles who they want wearing a mask coming inside to work out, they allow drug addicts to come in and sleep on the furniture and in the locker rooms that is completely unprofessional. I Try to go early in the morning but don’t feel safe with people outside constantly trying to approach you and follow you to you car asking for a cigarettes or light. Even when you tell them no they still harass you. My wife was so scared the other day she actually had to brandish her consoled carry as a man followed to her vehicle harassing her. The worst experience I have ever had at a gym and will be canceling my membership and never going back. After I called and canceled I received and email saying the the reason I canceled was due to corona virus. Really?

I love working out here, but it takes too long to make repairs. The beauty angel is a very important part of my workout and its been down for about 2 weeks so I have to drive all the way to the Madison location if I want to use one. I have been a member for about 3 yrs and Ive gone through this quite a few times with different equipment.

Super clean. Really packed tho. Must wear a mask obviously. Great showers and bathroom areasSpa is nice and modern but lacks a little. Wish they had a sauna. Theyve only got hydro massage and massage chairs. And this total body thing you stabd in that vibrates a bunch and helps you workout? LolOver all ots totally worth 22 a month (black card: u can bring a friend, use all equipment, and access spa anytime.

I really, REALLY enjoy this location. The staff at this location knew me by name the first week that I started going there and I have came back very often (average of 3-4/week) and I have felt welcomed every single time.I initially joined out of concern for my health and quality of life. Being young, but having early onset medical conditions has really alarmed me and going through physical therapy has pushed me to see what I can do to help myself. And thats when I joined Planet Fitness.I dont feel judged, I dont feel uncomfortable, and I feel like Im able to work at my own pace and in my own space if needed, but I enjoy seeing unfamiliar faces that become familiar. We all have goals in mind and it can be motivating for one another. In addition, they offer personalized training for those who are targeting a specific goal.The fact that they operate 24-hr/day makes it super convenient for virtually anyone and their onsite showers and locker rooms allow for you to get cleaned up before leaving.I plan to keep returning over and over again! Big, spacious location with plenty of machines, free weights, a TRX strap, as well as kettlebells and medicine balls.Open 24 hours even on the weekend, and at a price point that is hard to beat.Great experience here, enjoy!

So, I had a 5 star review here... until... this happened... I had an extra account for someone in my family. They work a lot of hours at the hospital and just couldnt make it in. I went in in February to cancel it. Went through the process with the lady at the counter. March... I am charged a yearly membership fee for this account that has never been used.I speak to someone at the gym and she leaves a note in my account. I go in the next day and the manager decides that I am lying and she would rather charge me a yearly membership for this account. When I protested she pulled up the contract and starts reading it to me like I cant read.Super offended and super disappointed that service doesnt mean anything to businesses nowadays. Its about the all mighty dollar. So I went ahead and cancelled the extra account and downgraded to regular member from black card member. If I didnt have a specific weight loss goal and time - I would have cancelled my account right then.

My first gym experience & its perfect for any newbie. Its a non threatening atmosphere for anyone unsure of what to expect. Such a great place to learn what the gym is all about, everyone is so friendly & helpfull if you need to know what a machine is.

First, let me say the staff is great, so far. My big gripe is lack of security. I really hate being approached in the parking from individuals wanting $ and sometimes I go to the gym late in the evening. Women leaving the gym should feel comfortable & not be concerned of who will approach them or if they will be harmed for refusing to give $. Individuals literally sit outside the door of the entrance of the gym.

Full of it. I was on the treadmill filming myself nobody else. I was told I cant film myself. Which is untrue, so I cancelled. Dont disturb me at all during my session when Im in the right. Im not the one.

My workout time is my time. Im very selfish and passionate about it. I am glad I can chose my workout time. PF has tons of equipment, and the staff is very friendly. PF is always clean and well kept.

This is a very clean and well taken care of gym. Definitely good if you are just starting out and dont have strength-specific goals considering its 90% cardio machines.However if youre tempted to join because this is a cheap gym, you should know a couple things:1. The black card membership is a complete scam. If youre doing it just so you can bring your buddy, youre both better off just paying 10 each. The black card membership spa is literally just some tanning beds and massage chairs a step up from what youd find in a mall.2. The charge to downgrade from a black card member to a regular member is $60, so three months membership charge.3. If for any reason theres a month that you cannot pay your gym membership, the gym will refuse to freeze your account unless youre in the hospital or the military4. PLANET FITNESS DOES NOT HANDLE THEIR OWN BILLING. They personally charged me twice this month and told me to call a collections agency to handle that. So in short I just have to accept that Ive been charged twice this month. And Ive heard other members complain about the same thing.There are other gyms on University alone, think carefully before you join

Not great if your a female working out here. The staff is inappropriate and so are most of the men that work out here. Its honestly kind of scary, Ive had people follow me around. And I shouldnt be uncomfortable about walking in because the man behind the counter is going to look me up and down.

Chill place to lift. Leg machines dont have enough weight. Im skinny and can max all of them (except the Smith machine obviously) easily.

This place is like my second home, and I just had to write a review because I saw people 1-star it.It is super clean. Staff is cool. This facility is truly 24/7 which is different from most other Planet Fitnesses.All the standard amenities.Theres a raffle for a ridiculously large T.V. right now too.

They say its a place without judment and the put judgemental signs insulting people that grunt or wear tangtops while they work. Equipment is old and no free weights. Terrible gym, not even worth 10 dollars a month.

I had my membership for 2 months and then was charged $39 for an annual fee. I moved and was charged another annual fee the next year (cancelled my membership a month after). The annual fee should be for the year you use it (or at least 3 months into the year). A membership here cost me $100 the first 3 months. Please know it is not just $20 a month. There are fees that are not refundable. My just $20 a month black card membership cost me $360 for 14 months.... just a heads up. You sign a yearly contract with the black card...
