Arcus Restoration was a life saver! Before Arcus, I became very frustrated and disappointed with my previous contractor. Dustin came in with a full plan on day one. Dustin was our project manager and he definitely made sure all of the work was done met our expectations and he was even done ahead of schedule. He also did a great job of making sure we were comfortable and understood the process of working through our insurance claim.

Arcus did a great job repairing a busted pipe in my kitchen. Cabinets had to be removed, as well as some countertops in order to make the repairs. The plumbers, cabinet people, and the project manager were all very knowledgable, professional, and polite. Holly, who did all the scheduling of different subs, was always prompt and friendly. She updated me frequently as to when different subs would arrive at my home, and made every effort to make it flexible to my work schedule. My insurance company recommended Arcus, and I am so glad they did. I would definitely recommend them.

Dustin Hunt and Arcus took great care of us. Our project was fairly extensive, and there were a lot of details to juggle, but Dustin handled all of it and kept us well informed, and took personal responsibility to make sure everything was done correctly and that we were satisfied. I would definately reccomend Arcus and Dustin to my friends.

Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. First subcontractors that came out turned out to be owned by a drug dealer, but I didnt find that out until they were fired and I saw the guy on the news running from the police, no joke. After, they hired a new company, who turned out to be the brother-in-law of the first company and use some of the same workers! Arcus acted surprised when I told them they were some of the same people who already messed up my house.Horrible quality:The quality of work I received was horrible (see pictures for examples).This was a 10 day estimated project, and in the end it took over 6 months to complete with the only issues being ones they created. They damaged my carpet, walls, cabinets, porch, bricks, tub, and more in the process. After the first round, I had the glass company come quote me for putting in the shower glass, and he literally laughed and said he couldnt do it because of how poor the tile work was. That was when they had to tear our the entire shower they already replaced and do it all over again. When they finished, the first time I used the tub, it leaked all over my bathroom. Turns out they didnt bother to tighten any of the plumbing and had also stripped one of the pipes. I had to call out another plumber to fix that. They brought out a painter to paint the entire bathroom at the end of the project, and he got paint on pretty much everything he wasnt supposed to in the bathroom. We had to scrap off all the paint from light fixtures, tub, trim, light switches, etc. They also cut the tile too close to the house so got tile dust all over the front of my house that wont come off with just water. We had to get a brush to scrub it off the bricks and siding. They also spilled the mud they used on the front porch and brick walls on the porch and never bothered to clean that up, and that is very hard to try to fix. It is still like that today. I could go on and on, but Ill save you the reading. Basically if it could have gone wrong, it did.Poor communication:The first project manager I had did very poorly with communication so they moved me to a two person team, who started off great with communication, but after a week it all died again. In between there, communication had died and no progress was being done for weeks. The only way I got them back out was to write a mean letter and send that to them and my insurance company. That finally got them back on the project. Then during the second round of silence, the only way I finally got them to communicate was to go through my insurance company again who finally got them moving.The Bill:When it finally came time to pay, it took literally 22 emails to get it straight. I had to point out all the things on the original estimate that they didnt do and argue my points there. Then they would change one thing and add another, or a value would change in between emails for no good reason. 20 emails in they sent me an invoice that, no joke, was literally one line item for the amount due. There was no explanation at all for what I was being billed for. I had to go back and pull up the original estimate, go line item by line item and figure out if they had billed me correctly, which of course they didnt. Then the last two emails got it straight and they finally sent me the final price I was expecting, but once again it was one line item. Id expect a reputable company to send you an itemized detailed bill to show exactly what youre paying for. At that point, I was so sick of them I didnt argue because after sick months, I just wanted to be done with them.In summary, these guys were highly recommended from friends, and even another competitor, but in this process I learned they were under new management and they now do horrible work. If you know me, please contact me and Ill be glad to fill you in on all the details. If you dont know me, trust me and go with another company. These guys arent worth the hassle, especially for tile work!

Jason Batts was the project manager did a great job helping with any questions I had. All the work was great. Wished I had used them for pack out and in would have been alot better than using a separate company. Will recommend them in the future.

ARCUS restoration was engaged through Alacrity Services to undertake a water damage repair to my home as a preferred agent of our insurance carrier. The original estimate for the repairs was 8 weeks and we moved into an apartment for the repair period. The apartment cost was paid by our insurer. It took 50 weeks for Arcus to complete the repairs due to mismanagement and lack of subcontractor oversight, requiring me to be their clerk of works pointing out malpractices. For example, they originally didnt pull a county permit for the works until prompted.This would have caused me problems in the future if work had carried on without a permit and follow on inspections. Their second flooring contractor was pulled off the job when all their installers were picked up as illegals by ICE. Their regional supervisor was extremely abrasive and elusive, often threatening to cancel the job until the insurers were made aware and put them back on place. Workmanship was marginal at best leaving unfinished damage to surfaces at their exit. The threat of lawsuits were used to finally get payment for damages incurred outwith the insurance claim. It is hoped that this company was backcharged by our insurance company for the additional lodging and storage costs incurred for the resulting extra 42 weeks and that they remove them from their preferred contractors list. Beware of this company should you be given the option of using them. I would give them 0 stars if this app allowed it.

Great Restoration Company

Worst company ever, I’ve filed a police report against them and the 2 workers who stole over 7000$ in crystal from my home. I have photos of the damage they caused to our home it was just our kitchen but by the time they got half done and quit they caused damage to my den, my carpet and my den furniture. Brian told us before we left for the hotel not to pack anything they have workers that do that and move our things to their warehouse. They didn’t do that they threw it all in my den floor and caused another 6000$ in damage because mice got in ate food they piled in the floor, ate the carpet and our furniture. I will press charges over my crystal. And I’ve filed a suit in small claims against them to pay me back for the furniture the insurance did not reimburse us for.

They performed remediation services as part of an insurance claim. They responded the same day they were called and completed the remediation that afternoon. If you have an emergency they will respond quickly and do a thorough job.

Awful service. They worked on our house after a small kitchen fire. They put many items they did not perform on the estimate and then gave excuses why they didnt preform the task. They took things out of the house the adjuster said was not Protocal and we had to file a larger claim. After they said they were done I let them know I knew they were not being honest. I ended up having to re clean all of the rooms from top to bottom. Using this company was more trouble than doing the work on your own.

Mr Brian Meeks and his crew were a blessing to my family in a time of tragedy. I also work in this field so I know a professional when I see one. They were all extremely knowledgeable and they worked tirelessly until the job was complete.Not only was there extreme professionalism but Mr Meeks showed compassion and empathy, something the family needed greatly.Thank you ARCUS and thank you Brian Meeks and your crew.

Horrible, they take your money up front and they wait months to fix whatever problem. They took the bathroom medicine cabinet and never returned it. Slow and dishonest. Dont waste your time.
