Took my son here for the first time. It was very busy. Seems like a lot of repeat customers. The stylist did a good job but I didnt feel he was focused on my kid. He kept checking his phone and went to another customer in the middle of my kids haircut. I dont know if he was treating him this way bc of his age or this is the norm. I didnt see any other stylist in their phones.

Scheduled an appointment for the $27 haircut. Asked Valentin for a DARK Caesar at a 1.5 length (Low cut at wave length, even all over). He didnt listen AT ALL. I left with a bald fade. Hair hasnt been this low in years & he charged me $35 for it. Never going back to him

My son got a fade cut here last week and its the worst haircut of his life. They shaved the whole bottom and sides and left the hair on top longer. Looks like a bowl was put on his head and they shaved what was outside of the bowl. Absolutely no fade

I got my hair cut twice by the owner. He charged me two different prices for a haircut that took 20 minutes or less. It was a normal taper haircut. My second haircut cost me 55 dollars in total!! Seriously ridiculous. That is DOUBLE the cost of what a haircut normally costs me including tip. Im VERY disappointed.

Theyre great and they actually.know how to do a FADE! They dont do buzz cuts here and call them a fade. 🤣Theyre efficient, fast, and on-point for getting folks in and out.

They said it was a 30 minute wait so I waited an hour and then just left after being passed up after I told them. They had some kids show on the whole time so I had to listen to basically the baby sharks song the whole time. Don’t waste your time like I did.

I made an appointment via Schedulicity for a cleanup cut ($27) with Miss DeDe, but upon entering I had to wait 20 minutes even though I was on time—sure, no biggie. But I was paired with Liz Lopez who wasn’t transparent with me at all. She upcharged me for a “ Mr. GQ with Shave” ($35) even though I did not receive a shave. She asked me where I was from, so I said Huntsville and then she had the audacity to ask “no, really where is your family from?” (I am a POC). Overall very disappointed with the service provided and the fact no one apparently checks the schedule in the morning

I went to this location, tried to get a haircut, only one person in the shop, no clients, I asked if he was busy, his demeanor was not welcoming and he told me he needs to check his schedule first but was playing a game on his phone. He was not busy at all. Just plain lazy and didnt want to do a haircut. First impression, the way you carry yourself speaks a thousand words. I dont want a free haircut, or discount, I dont want to come back and catch the same guy again. To all you construction worker, dont pick this place. If you value respect then dont.

Went in as a walk in and needed a cut. Fade literally took an hour to do... not that big a deal wasn’t in a rush but it looks absolutely terrible, lines everywhere around my head. I get it everyone has to start somewhere but can we please have someone teaching them how to cut a fade. If I could add pictures I would as proof of how terrible it looks.

I just moved to Alabama from New York City and you know how that goes when you move to a new place and you need that clean cut but you have multiple barbershops and you are hoping you pick the right one, well I did pick the right one when I went to Fade Factory in Huntsville and also without an appointment and Francisco went above and beyond to fit me in his schedule and laced me up with an amazing haircut and now he will be my permanent barber. The ladies and gents at the Fade Factory are world class professionals and I recommend anybody looking for a new place to get a haircut.

The Best Barbershop In The City Of Huntsville Francisco Get Me Right Every Time

Not impressed had high hopes for this place. Owner professional, barber not too welcoming. Additionally, I signed up for the veterans haircut and got a normal haircut, or at least not the additional services. When I asked the barber to fix something, it seemed to bother him. This happens in barber shops and not everyone has a good day, but when you pay $30 for a cut you expect more.

Owner is very professional and I respect his response and business enough to give it a 5/5 star, however the barber is still a 0/5.Scheduled an appointment for a “Premium Cut” as listed on their website with Joey. Came in and was told they dont do that anymore (even though it’s still on their website). Okay cool, whatever. I ask for a low skin fade and definitely didn’t get a low skin fade, he left an inch of hair on both sides. I also asked beforehand if he could blend the top of my hair into the sides but the skin fade was so high it wasnt blended and was too late at that point. Then at the end he says that all of his customers are surprised by how fast he cuts hair (which I think he thinks thats a good thing). He literally spent 10 minutes aggressively cutting my hair. Cutting hair is not something you would wanted rushed. My haircut looks alright but the delivery and getting the haircut I asked for is a straight 0/5 stars. Will not be going back, the other barbers delivery and techniques looked amazing though, just wish I got a different barber.

Called and had an appointment at 6pm drove from scottsboro walked in at 5:40 waited till 6:45, mid way though the wait one of the barbers came up and told me the person cutting my hair would get me next right after she is finished with the hair cut she was doing well after she was done she started on someone else and then all the barbers still seemed pretty busy and just walked out Would not recommend.

No sense of cleanliness or safety as far as any COVID-19 guidelines go. Employees were not wearing masks properly or at all. The clippers and shears were covered in other clients’ hair. My haircut was meh.

Hubby and I go together and we find we get a lot of value for our buck, they take their time and skilled at what they do. Love that we can go and he gets what he needs done, a haircut and beard trim and Im able to get the desired look as well. Its hard to find people that know how to blend short hair well.

( jan 2 at whitesburg location) Called to see if I needed appt, was told no so we took my son. Two people working never once cleaned up after haircuts nor cleaned chairs as each new person got into chair for haircut. The hair was everywhere on floor and they were more concerned with watching black panther than doing their job. Lack of professionalism made us walk out. We knew we’d have to wait without appt but the dirty floors and chairs with cov19 cases made us leave. The website lured us in but quality of staff was an issue for us. Since the hair was never swept after each haircut was complete, the hair on floor was everywhere, even in waiting area. Disappointed in cleanliness and professionalism. Obviously they have enough clientele that doesn’t care about those things as they were not motivated to move with a purpose to get waiting clients taken care of. The guy working was more concerned with getting a pants order complete than clients waiting for a haircut. No sanitizing chairs upon clients leaving their booth area. Very lax environment, what a Shame as their website promises more.

Went in with high hopes. The barber that cut me was on his phone the whole time he was cutting me. It felt like i was getting punched in the head with the clippers his hand was so heavy. I asked for only a haircut and he started cutting my beard. Had to shave it all off when i got home. Still got charged for it. Maybe if he got off his phone an paid attention he would of just gave me a haircut. Also asked for a hard part and showed him where my old one was. Well he made his own in a different spot so i had a jacked up part.

Expensive and no communication within employees

Yesterday was my first time at Fade Factory Huntsville location, and it was a GREAT experience. Called before I went in and they thankfully had an opening and when I showed up, front desk set me up with Miss Dee. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she went to work. I have been looking for a great place to do fade designs and I will definitely be going back! Miss Dee was phenomenal I would highly recommend!!!!

**Update, the location in Madison is the one that provided the horrible haircut. The Whitesburg location fixed it and did an excellent job**My son went for a haircut on 5/20/20 and was told he needed an appointment now due to Covid 19. Which is understandable. What is not understandable is after saying this and my son not wanting to come back a barber agrees to cut his hair but only cuts half of it, yet charges full price. This is horrible business. If you are able to cut half a head you can complete the job. But then to charge full price is beyond ridiculous. You have a choice to either do a full and complete job or refuse service unless he returns. I informed him he never should have agreed to pay for a job that wasnt complete. He is young and still learning but has received a valuable lesson. However as a business this was unacceptable to me

Was a walk in near mid-day. Was helped quickly by Didi, who looked at the picture I had saved. We went over some of the details of the haircut before she began. It was professional and comfortable, and she was fine both with silence or talking. I do plan on going again to try and maintain my haircut.

I usually dont write reviews but this barber shop was very deserving of one. I visited the shop at its Whitesburg location on 12/18/2019 around 2 oclock. I came as a walk-in and all of the barbers were eager to offer their services. I asked for a dark wave length temp fade with my side burns remaining thick. Miss DeDe did a great job with the cut and I will definitely be back. The staff was also very helpful providing Miss DeDe with tips on how to make the cut better. The shop was nicely decorated and clean as well, the barbers were also very professional.

I walked in right about the time my appt was scheduled for and I was greeted right away and I didnt wait to get my haircut. My appt started right on time. I have been taking my sons to the Fade Factory since we arrived to Huntsville 2 years ago and I wouldnt take them anywhere else. I had an appointment today (noon), and instead of taking my appointment, Michael started a client. I was there prior to my time and waited patiently until he was finished with current client. He finished about 5 minutes after 12. He immediately took another client instead of his 12 appointment. At 1210 he said he was running late. Starting a client in place of an appointment is not running late. Its disrespectful and rude. Why take appointments if youre not going to honor them. Total let down. On a side note, the receptionist was too busy talking with friends about nose piercings and other things to even greet/check me in. Bad customer service and lack of professionalism.
