I’ve had numerous older Porsches in for work and they’re extremely knowledgeable and fair. They also work on newer cars (mostly German) as well and have helped me out resolving a fault code in an E46 BMW. Highly recommended!

Not friendly to begin with!! The receptionist is very rude and tries to act like the mechanic. I was told that they were just too busy to work on my car BUT they would look at it....next day, I was called & told to come get my car because they didnt have room for it and it was just not worth fixing. They said the engine was shot & I needed to just replace it. After taking it to another shop, the only thing wrong was the valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced!!! She is running strong!!! Do not recommend this place AT ALL!!

Most unprofessional shop Ive been to. Took in our 64 car for an oil leak, the next morning was told that a piston rod was bent or broken. The receptionist, who admitted she is not mechanically inclined at all was the person trying to explain what was wrong with the car. We were told the car is not worth fixing and then were charged $105(the hourly rate at the shop) for nothing. Not only was the oil leak not fixed but apparently in 1 hour he removed the head and was able to determine that a rod was broken or bent and that car was not worth fixing.

Martins Classic Cars is the only Repair facility we trust to send our well loved pre-owned German cars. Stan is a pleasure to deal with and keeps me up to date on my vehicles status.

Martins does a terrific restoration or specific repairs/maintenance on classic cars. It just takes time and money, as one would expect.

I recently purchased a 30 year old Porsche 911 Targa from a dealer. I had the car taken to Martins for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. I spoke with Stan at Martins prior to the inspection and let him know what i needed from him and that i wouldnt be seeing the car prior to purchasing. Martins completed an amazingly detailed inspection and written report identifying every single item, no matter how minor and took lots of time to discuss the results. They also supported completing some work i requested the seller have completed before i purchased in an impartial manner. Based on my confidence in Martins assessment and professional approach, i completed the purchase and have been very happy. I would recommend anyone in the region use them for work on aircooled Porsches.
