Grand Master Kim has created an excellent place for people of all ages to develop themselves into better humans. Better personal discipline, better personal self-image, better student in school, whatever. The focus is not just on the forms and the fighting, but on how becoming proficient at these things changes you, makes you different. Excellent school. I would recommend to anyone.

My daughter very bashful and shy, she grew comfortable after 30 minutes of being here with Master Kim, my son stopped misbehaving and started listening, my oldest daughter stopped rebelling, me and my 3 children come here as a family and study, I strongly believe that this is something everyone needs, there is to many life skills to to gain from this 1 place to pass up.

Grandmaster Kim is an awesome individual. His business is a great opportunity for all ages to learn and grow mentally and physically. Tae Kwon Do isnt for everyone, but those who enjoy it or think they may enjoy it should try it here. I was a part of the TKD Club at Marshall University and we tested at his location as well as worked with Grandmaster Kim to keep our club in tact during my time at Marshall. Go Herd :-)

I have had the pleasure of working with Grandmaster Kim for the last 20+ years. My opinion is biased, but please dont discount what I have to say based on that.Grandmaster Kim stands out from his peers. Not because he kicks faster, higher or stronger. Not because he has trained champion after champion after champion. It is because while other Grandmasters view their schools as their livelihood, and there is nothing wrong with that, Grandmaster Kim views his school as his family. Up until the last year, his livelihood was outside his Taekwondo school.He trains more than athletes, he trains young men and women, and if their goal is to compete, he finds the proper avenues for them. If their goal is to learn discipline, it will come in spades. If their goal is better health, well thats there for them too.He is will to train all no matter your background and experience. Young or old, rich or poor, educated or not, you will find value in the school and you will find growth.

Excellent place for children to learn discipline, respect, and confidence to just name a few attributes. Not only are there the physical benefits to the training but includes a positive philosophy on how to treat others and how to handle ones self outside of Taekwondo! Highly recommended for children and adults!

Trained me since I was a little kid,Made it possible for me to fight in 9 national championships and 4 international championships and many tournaments all over the world I had over 300 international and national fights and he was behind me for everyone of them..He had me training with the USA team and being coached by the Olympic coaches for several years,what he couldnt teach me, he found a way for me to be taught,He is one of the most respected Master s of Tae Kwon Do in the nation.He treats his students as people and not dollars.He develops the true character in his students and emphasizes Honor and Strong Morals and High ethics, not just fighting techniques.If you decide to join you can feel you have made a great choice.

We are so pleased with our experience at Master Kims School of Traditional Tae Kwon Do. Our now 9-year-old has been studying here for 3 years and has learned so much about the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. He has also learned discipline, patience, perseverance, respect and loyalty, which we know he will carry with him forever. His focus and confidence have also greatly improved. Grandmaster Kim is one of the very few who can trace a history back to the founding of Taekwondo in post-war Korea. He is a wealth of knowledge and will teach you and your kids with a character building approach to martial arts.

Grand Master Kim is a disciplined, kind, and intelligent man. His teachings through the Martial Arts have helped me to not only defend myself, but to take the discipline I ve learned and apply it to my life. Remember before signing yourself up for Grand Master Kim s school that it isn t the Martial Art as much as it is the Martial Artist. Throwing money at it will get you a Black Belt, but only discipline and hard work will MAKE you a Black Belt. The training is only as good as you make it. If you find yourself thinking that this training is useless, it is most likely because you have failed to practice the material correctly or have no desire to be in this school.
