This was my first time at the Smilist. From the recetionist the technician & the doctor were great! Everyone explained, in detail, what was going to happen. During the procedures I was kept informed exactly as to what was being done. I needed a lot of work & I understood my options. Very professional!

By far, hands down, the most gentle dentist and assistant I have ever encountered! I usually don’t leave reviews on this like this but this entire office has know what I went through (reasons for dental repairs) and from the second I walk in the office till the moment I leave, it’s such a good vibe. Zen like almost. Thank you to the entire staff, from Dr. G to the assistants, hygienists, reception, anyone else I’m missing, thank you, thank you, thank you all for being the best at your jobs and being so kind. The doctor and his assistant were nice and pleasant.How ever the lady at the receptionist desk is not so friendly. She don’t seem to want to answer questions.I asked her questions she told me to go on the website.Other than her the office is clean and peaceful.

I went here today with my 3 kids ages 7-18 and we had a great visit. The hygienist was great. Super professional, friendly and was great with all of us.The doctor was also very nice and made me feel comfortable right away.Marie is perfect as the first person you meet when walking in and was very pleasant and kind.We already scheduled our treatment abs follow upvisits and have definitely found our new family dentist!

After a long absence from the dentist’s office, I finally faced the music and made an appointment with Dr. Gutterson at their Huntington location. Dr. Gutterson, the front desk representative Marie and staff are beyond amazing! From my very first new patient appointment, to now (and I haven’t been there a long time) I’ve felt comfortable from walking in to the office to walking out; they definitely make you feel at home. I never feel rushed, and he and his staff always ask if I have any other questions or concerns and talk to me about all my options for my dental care. I recently decided to get my dental health up to par and in high gear which naturally isn’t the most enjoyable experience, yet they made it as comfortable as can be.The office has a personable Mom and Pop feel, and I don’t feel like a number. The facility was larger and nicer than it looked from outside. Joanna, the hygienist was waiting for me with the receptionist, Marie. Joanna was thorough, easy to talk to, gentle and did an excellent job. The x-ray pictures came up instantly on the screen as soon as she took them and they were so clear; impressive! Marie was nice and informative about their services. Dr. Gutterson called prior to my visit to welcome me to their practice and to see what my concerns might be and he wrapped up my visit with a check up (which went smooth) and a discussion of my concerns, an intermittent pain in my jaw which now seemed unrelated to my teeth as they were fine. It was a quick but unhurried visit, and I had their full attention throughout the visit. It was a very professional and nice visit!

My mother had a sudden toothache from a rottem molar, The Smilist made every efforts to accomodate her although they were fully booked at multiple locations, Dr.Gutterson did a great job to extract her tooth, which resulted in minimal bleeding and complication, he also called the next day to check up on her as well. Overall, excellent experience.

I’ve recently had to switch after over 10 yrs with my dentist. Needless to say I was so nervous that I would have to find someone who would take their time and have the patience to deal with my anxiety. The office staff was soooo nice and informed of the the procedure and pricing ahead of time . Dr G was amazing he took his time and explained everything step by step. He even went the extra mile and called me before my appointment ( which had never happened before) just to ask me about my concerns and introduce himself........ A GREAT TEAM !!

My previous dentist retired earlier this year and they made the transition to a new dentist very easy. The staff is friendly and professional. They are very careful with all COVID-19 protocols so I felt safe and my visits went smoothly with no waiting. The location is great with ample parking all around. Fantastic - awesome staff

Serious health issues have compromised my dental health, which in turn has caused me to have lots of dental work done. This being said, I’ve seen many dentists. This dental practice by far exceeds any other practice I’ve ever set foot in. The office staff is amazing! Dr. G couldn’t have been any more gentle. I had no idea I had gotten a shot. Not once had I felt as though I was being worked on, during or after. I would highly recommend Dr. G to anyone. I am certain that once you see Dr. G you will never want to see anyone else again.

I had bad tooth pain last night and called Arch Dental in Huntington. All the recommendations were true.They gave me an appointment for 7:45 am . All the staff were so friendly.Dr. Gutterson was great! So professional and he explained everything beforehand to make me feel at ease. My extraction was pain free and I had only Novocaine.They offer many different services too.

It was my first visit for x-rays and cleaning. Marie at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The dental hygienist was lovely and informative... the doctor was detailed in my diagnosis and plan going forward. I am now an official patient.

The entire Arch Dental Team was fantastic from start to finish. The ease of making an appointment was really helpful for my crazy schedule. I was welcomed promptly and was helped with paperwork and first time visit nuances. The office is clean, organized and bright. Everyone is all hands on deck at Arch and you can tell they work very well together. I was delighted to find out the benefits of my dental insurance and how thorough the team was. Joanna was wonderful during the cleaning process - she examined every tooth and crevice! She listened to my questions and concerns and was able to articulate what small differences I can make to enhance my dental hygiene. She also dug deeper and showed me a 3-D analysis of my teeth. It was not only impressive but showed me how I can protect my gums and teeth from daily wear and tear. Dr Gutterson was very efficient and kind. He took the time to get to know me and my teeth! Best dental experience in 45 years. I am 50 years old. I had a tooth extraction no pain during or after. The Dentist Dr. Reich even called the next moring to see how I was feeling. Now thats EXCELLENCE!

Using this office for yrs. For thosr who need, It has a wheel chair lift,which brings me in my rollator up to office. The staff has neck pillows blankets and there is tv for those interested. I have breathing issues and staff will use o2 durinh procedures.

I had a great experience at Arch Dental. The staff is very helpful and the dentist was amazing. I had two extractions done with no side effects and recovery was quick. Dr. Peppas-Kountotsis knew what she was doing and was very good at making the experience a positive one. I definitely would recommend this dental practice. Theyre the best!

I am Beyond upset!! Let me start with everyone there was great the hygienist was wonderful, I think it was Maria at the front desk that helped me out with a dental plan that saved me money that day. I even thought the Dentist was good... unfortunately with dentistry you dont know if they are good or bad right away. I had a small cavity on my front tooth that the dentist filled, when he was finished he said the tooth next to it was a little ugly so I fixed it up for you, no charge. I was thankful but the next week the bonding that he put on the tooth fell off and to my surprise he shaved off half the tooth!! It is almost as thin as paper!! I went back to the office and he fixed it again and again it fell off. Since then Ive gotten the tooth repaired numerous times at a different dentist. I finally got enough nerve to call the office to try and talk with them about how the dentist shaved half my tooth for no better reason then he thought it was ugly the office manager dismissed me and said there is no proof that the dentist did any work to that tooth. When I told her the dentist even took pictures telling me if I continue the treatment plan he would have beautiful before and after photos, she said they werent in my file. According to my new dentist the only reason I need work done is because this dentist totally screwed up. To top it all off along with performing unnecessary and unauthorized work another tooth that they told me I needed a root canal for only needed was a filling. So I guess Im out of luck This office does NOT stand behind what there dentists do. If you are going here please make sure the dentist only does what is authorized by you and get a second opinion before you have any major work done.

I absolutely 100% hate going to the dentist. So much so that this was the first dental appointment in, well, a very long time. Dr. Brennan and all the staff at Arch Dental made my visit extremely pleasant (never thought Id say that about a dental visit). Everyone was very patient, kind, friendly and not only to me, the patient, but to eachother which makes for an all around relaxing environment. I highly recommend this dental practice!

The staff was very nice but my regular checkup appointment took two hours because dentist had a procedure during my checkup which left me feeling very frustrated and dreading having to return... my appt should have either been rescheduled or i could have been told the delay would have been so long so i could leave and return because by the time they told me what my treatment plan was i was to distressed to care

He is good at listening and coming up with solution for my dental problems. I am happy with the result.

I went to Arch Dental after not having been to the dentist for a couple of years (for various reasons).After going to Arch Dental for the last half year or so, my dental hygiene is SO MUCH BETTER! And I credit the hygienists for that.They get the credit because of the very thorough and informative mapping of ones mouth that they do as a matter of course. Part of that involves checking every tooth/gum for how deep the pockets are. The deeper they are, the more attention they need. Knowledge is power, so once you know how & where you need to pay attention, you can do that. And if youre successful, youll see the result in the form of decreased pockets. Its great motivation to brush and use the waterpik, floss, etc.No other dentist Ive been through provided this kind of empowering information. As a result, my mouth is very happy!UPDATE 10/20: Its been a long time since I posted the review above. And Ill share that as a result of my now-excellent dental hygiene, my checkup showed that my gums are in great shape!Ill also add that I broke a tooth recently, requiring a crown. Dr. Gutterson just did the initial preparation of the tooth including the removal of the existing amalgam filling. Ill mention two things about this.First, not wanting to breath in or ingest the amalgam, I asked Dr. G. what precautions they took to protect the patient. He said they could use a mouth damn, so none of what they removed would find its way into my mouth, and suction in the mouth to remove any fumes. That was good.Second, for those of you averse to dental pain... if youve ever had a novocain shot, you know it can be somewhat painful to have that big needle shoved deeply into your gums--right? Well, Dr. Gutterson has perfected the technique of doing the injection by pre-numbing the area, and masterful use of the needle. I literally felt NOTHING.So, Im a satisfied customer.

I recently became Dr. Gutterson’s patient after a a somewhat harrowing dental experience. My appointments were for replacement crowns. Dr. Gutterson and his assistant Marianna (the absolute best!) were extremely understanding of my anxiety and helped me get through the work that needed to be dome. I am very happy with the care I received and my new results. Thank you to Dr. G, Marianna, Marie and the rest of the staff.

Omg why did i go elsewhere. Arch is undoing all the wrongs that were done from a prior practice. Financial aspect is a major concern in my life. I was coming out of a bad experience not only financially but inferior work. Arch Dental of Huntington showed me Conservative approach without inundating me with enormous expense. Talked options, procedures, explains and gives more time than i expected. Clean office....caring.Hours are conducive . i hope my trust, faith and desire to continue with this practice does not disappoint me .
