I had terrible tooth pain from a chipped molar. It was causing unbelievable pain and I couldnt sleep/focus at all. Roaring pain that came in waves. I was in a tough spot because it was a weekend. Dr. Epakchi cell # was left on the message at the office in case of emergency. I called him at 9am on Saturday, and he agreed to meet me in 1 hr at his office. Keep in mind the office was closed, and he was off on a sunny day in July. He went out of his way to come in the office and examine the tooth. Unfortunately, there was no quick fix due to infection. He prescribed Antibiotics and instructed me that the tooth could be saved even in a badly chipped state. The pain did not subside right away, but as he said, within 3-4 days the pain was completely gone. I have been to many dentists over the years and the fact that he went out of his way to help a person in terrible pain, and didnt immediately say pull the tooth really stood out to me. I would highly recommend SMILE HUNTINGTON and Dr. Epakchi.

Dr. E is consistently kind, caring, and focused on doing his best work at every appointment. Because of his compassion and patience with dental anxiety, I no longer fear going to the dentist. Very professional, exceptionally clean and accommodating office. Dr. E is compassionate and will do his best to accommodate on a moment’s notice. Thus far, I have found all the staff to be both masterful and patient with services from a routine cleaning through implants and veneers. We actually just finished my veneers, so I will have to see how it goes and report back. But so far so good!

Dr. Epakchi and his staff are excellent. His expertise in numbing a tooth is the best Ive had. Never feel anything and he is able to use the minimum amount so your back to normal fairly quick. He stays up on technology. Been going to him for years.

Dr Epakchi was referred to me over three years ago. I was in dire need of extensive dental work from advanced gum disease. Dr Epakchi was honest from the get go, yet compassionate. After several other opinions, Dr. Epakchi was the first dentist to give me hope, he spent the time presenting my options with a plan. During this long process to restore my gums and teeth, Dr Epakchi and his staff always made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr Epakchi. He’s a good person, gives quality dental work, honest communicator while being compassionate. Rene is a great hygienist, she is extremely thorough giving the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Suzanne at the front desk is just awesome. Cindy is a sweetheart who has always made me feel unafraid. I’m so comfortable at Smile Huntington.

Dr. Epakchi is a skilled and very experienced dentist. He takes time with patients so that they understand everything and answers all questions thoroughly. I appreciate that he is always there for me if I have a problem and especially when I had an emergency last year. I always feel I’m in good hands whenever and whatever the procedure is. He makes it as pain free as possible. He’s always been very attentive to my needs as a patient.

I recently moved to Huntington and changed my dentist to Dr. Epakchi. What a wonderful decision. He is a friendly and gentle dentist and the staff in the office makes you feel warm and welcome. Would recommend to family and friends.

Me and my kids went there for a visit and winded up with a bill over $5000. Now as long as me & my kids always had dental ins from my job, I never had to come out of pocket for any work done. Now they have me in collections. 1. They will never get that money from me & 2. The whole office can kiss me Asssss.

This is the first dental office that I have had a truly positive experience and do not have to be frightened to go to my appointments. I am always greeted with a smile and feel I am always provided top quality care.

Everyone there is super nice and makes you feel very comfortable every time you come in. Everything is very clean and there is parking in the back as well.

The response from this business is a perfect example as to the character of this dental office’s employees; they are immoral. As for substantiation, I have documentation of every bill and correspondence, including the false confirmation from the receptionist that our insurance was accepted (she was let go and no longer works there). I pay for dental insurance (delta dental). There is no reason that I, nor anyone that pays for dental insurance, would pay out of pocket for any dental treatments that would be covered entirely by another dentist. Our former dentist retired and we were in search of a new dentist. My husband and I had dental treatments performed, including my initial $675 CONSULTANTION (which is just talking for 5 minutes). Then, we had to return for cleanings, (still no bill or mention of any charge) and returned to have cavities filled, x-rays, and bonding, all without any bill or mention of a bill. We were not in any pain or emergency. We were sent a bill after we were lured back in and already treated. I cashed the insurance checks that arrived to my home because they were made out to me, in my name, and I assumed it was reimbursement for the portion of the bill (hundreds of dollars) we already paid!! I verified with my insurance that this was in fact their portion of the coverage and sent that exact amount to the dentist immediately. The balance still due is over $1,600. We are working parents with little children and this is the last thing with which I need to handle. The bill is outrageous. The staff members are unprofessional. They flat out lied to us and racked up the bill. I hope that in leaving this review, albeit I am just ‘anyone,’ I can prevent ANYONE ELSE from going through this terrible situation.

People usually hate going to the dentist but Dr.Epakchi and his staff made it such pleasant experience . My results using Invisalign are great . I love my smile again !!!!Joe

Would give less if I could. The receptionist misled us and we were left with a huge bill. We should have had a clue when they changed my husbands and my initial cleaning to a consultation, we both had to return for a cleaning, then back for dental services. The dentist, Dr. Epakchi, kept pushing Invisalign and bragging about having 100 people over his huge house for a party... then a huge bill mailed. I’ve had the same dental insurance for years, and never paid more than $40, so an $1,800 bill was shocking and insulting. I believe that receptionist was fired... still would never ever recommend this practice to anyone.

First of all this is comical reading the response from the owner. Your proving the point that you arent professional. Number one, I never apologized for my wife, so that is a lie. Number 2, $675 was a typo. It was $475, and there was a $75 courtesy discount. Meaning you guys pocketed $400 directly from the insurance, which seems like a pretty fraudulent in its own right. Number 3, you are telling people to refer to your website for reviews because you can control those reviews, so of course theyre Glowing. Number 4, Is Dana not supposed to cash checks that are written out to her and mailed to her address? How does that work? Or was that another mistake by your office?? I understand there can be mistakes that happen. Nobody is perfect. But, it is the response to those mistakes that I judge a company and the response to your employees mistake, in my opinion is the reason why I think you are pitiful and you deserve 1 star. The receptionist said we were covered by you guys with our insurance and that was a mistake on your part not ours. We can check the websites to see which dentist covers who for any insurance but the internet is not 100%. And, in our conversation you disagreed and said that the internet was 100%. At that point I realized who I was dealing with and knew no other action could be taken. Patients shouldnt all be treated like dollar signs!!
