I will never go anywhere else. In my 4 years of living in Huntington, Clarks has gone above and beyond to take care of me, and they do it quickly, politely, and honestly. Even in an emergent situation they got me in with no problem and showed compassion like I havent seen at any other business. Quality, fast work and kind staff. Cant ask for any more than that.

Clarks has been a life saver for me and my Subaru Outback. It is a family oriented business in the community. They know you by name and your car on sight. It’s hard for a female to take a car to a shop. You always want to think that you can trust the service you receive or the money you are charged. I found out the hard way that’s not how it works. Dropped my car off just before noon, got it back the same day, despite the fact that Clarks is a busy shop. New front brake pads and a replacement motor for one of my windows came in well under what I was expecting to pay.Intake was a smooth process, as well. Debbie, the Service Advisor, listened patiently to the litany of problems and noises I described, making detailed notes to share with the mechanic.Everyone I dealt with, on the phone and in person, was polite, professional and seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. Fantastic experience all around!

I took my Scion to Clark’s after phoning first to see if I could be seen today. I took it for an inspection and found them to be honest and worked quickly to get me on way way in a timely manner. Friendly people too who answered my questions without making me feel silly for asking.

Brought my car in for a tune-up and new brakes. They were nice, honest, and reasonably priced. So glad this place was recommended to me, and Ill be recommending them in the future!

Found this shop after living in Huntington for a little over 10 years. Turns out I lived right across the street from them in college but never noticed. Dont know how I ever missed them... But I was having some issues with a misfire and some loud brakes. Talked to them on a Monday, they got my car in Wednesday. Within an hour or 2 they called me and told me what was wrong. In another 2 hours they were finished. A few days pass and I notice a loud coil whine. Sure enough my alternator is bad. I take it back the following week. They get to it the next day after drop off, and find an alternator in Charleston. Its done within a few hours. The professionalism, care, and genuine nature of everyone I talked to was more than I could ask for. In person, and on the phone, I was met with kindness and manors. Not too many shops have as much as that. Please dont hesitate to consider leaving your vehicle in this shops hands. Prices were more than fair. And every issue presented to me was met with a why. I had zero doubt that I would receive my car in better shape than I left it. They deserve every 5 star review. And I wont be looking anywhere else in Huntington to have car service. Thank you!

Found Clarks on the internet. Read the reviews and decided to have my 2011 toyota Camry towed there as it was running rough. I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly suprised when they called me back s few hours later and told me it was something minor and my cat was ready. Awesome honesty and fair price. Very refreshing. Everybody was professional,courteous,and knowledgeable. From the lady answering the phone,the service manager to the mechanic. Highly recommended. On the website it says they do transmission work, but, I called and they told me it was a mistake on there. I was from out if town and needed my transmission looked at and was turned away with an attitude. I dont recommend them to ANYONE!

Chris at Clark’s Auto Care did a very thorough review of a car I was considering purchasing. He gave me accurate info, and was meticulous in the details he provided. I don’t live there, so I was trusting him with my decision! He was very kind and did all of this for a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend Clark’s!

This place is like a doctors office for cars. They are so nice and quick to work. The office is so organized and clean. Even around this time of year with the hustle and bustle and stress of the holidays they get things done. I had to have my starter replaced in my 2003 Dodge Caravan and they did a phenomenal job. Thank you guys so much!

Great people with good heart. I’ve been going here for 10 years. I miss Clark senior, he was such a good hearted young man who made that shop in 1950s as I’ve heard. Only tip I can give is that if you can diagnose the problem before you go, it helps them big times. Sometimes they have problems diagnosing foreign made cars, but if they can’t diagnose, they don’t charge a penny. Having a good mechanic is a blessing of God!!

This is my brother and fathers business. They have been in business more than 65 years. Both are the most honest men I know. Ive watched them with their customers. They are genuinely concerned about taking care of each person. If they were like many other garages, they would make more money - but they arent. Their honesty and integrity is above reproach, which is what keeps bringing customers back. You will never be over charged or told something is wrong with your vehicle that is not.

Will never take my vehicles here again.Left twice with them neglecting to address major issues I had wanted done (even something as easy to remember as an inspection sticker and fixing the parking brake). Left all three times with more issues than I came with. Two of those times I was told part prices over the phone that were twice as much when I came in.What was supposed to be a week turned into six weeks and cost me time on the job (my truck is my paycheck).Make sure they write down everything you ask them to do, or, better yet, take your vehicle elsewhere.They may actually be genuine, skilled, and organized, but if so, I never saw it.

They did a great job fixing my truck timing. Nice, friendly, did great work for me. Definitely recommend.

That is an understatement, they worked us in immediately, diagnosed the problem, had it repaired and back on the road in a very timely manner. Every single time Ive taken my car to Clarks Ive been terrified of hearing what was going on with it, what was needed, and how much I would need to pay for it. All three times- the cost was 1/4 what I thought it was going to be and I was so relieved. Last time I told the owner I love this place! He said hes been there 60 something years. I wont go anywhere else as long as I live in Huntington.As a female who knows NOTHING about my own car- I trust these dudes!

I would never ever have any one rent trucks throu there as long as they deal with budget rentals they still owe me my deposit and getting ready to take them and budget to court worst experience I have ever had.dropped truck off nice note saying they were on vacation till 9/11 showed up 9/11 and found another note saying they were not going to be back till 9/13 cant run a business like this.and still cant get my money this place will never get my business ever again and I hope no one else for that matter they never answer the phone there either like they are hiding

I wouldnt even give it that one star!! My daughter had her car towed there, and they told her the engine was needing to be replaced, and it was going to cost 25,000.00 dollars to fix it! We towed the car from Huntington, WV to Dales in Moundsville, WV. They had the car running that same day they looked at it!!!

These guys are amazing! I went to another big name auto place in town who said that I needed new brake pads, rotor and calipers, new cv joint, brake flush, new tie rod and new gasket covers for $1700. Their diagnosis didnt make sense so I went to get a second opinion, I needed new brake pads, rotors, sway bar and lower engine bracket for $670. My car runs like a dream now! Thanks for not taking advantage just because Im not knowledgeable of cars! 10 out of 10 would recommend, especially to females who know what its like to be taken advantage of by car shops! Could not recommend Clarks Auto Care enough!

Best auto shop in Huntington or Tri-state in my opinion, they go out of their way to make sure my vehicle is repaired quickly and correctly. You don’t have to take my word on it, just drive by 8th Avenue and 26th street and see how many customers are lining up at door at 8:00 in morning.

Went in to get a new alternator in the afternoon and left a few hours later very happy. Never fun to have car trouble but they were able to fix me up as soon as it happened.
