Back in October 2020, I switched to a new insurance carrier and requested a refund of 7 months that was prepaid through the mortgage company. As of August 2021 I still have not received a full refund. I sent numerous e-mails and text messages and every time Elizabeth Govea would say she’s on it and would get back to me the following day. She’s given me so many excuses why things are not getting done and avoids me. I don’t like to bug people for service and courtesy that could easily be given. I thank God that there was never a fire or accident while Elizabeth Govea was our insurance agent. I can only imagine how that would be handled if it’s anything like how she’s handling a simple refund. I ended up contacting farmers insurance corporate office and filed a complaint after over 9 months of getting the run around and allowing more than enough time to handle the situation. Good luck if you hire this agent. I hope I get my refund some day.
