Best barbershop in Huntington Beach! Moved here from CT and after trying several barbershops was glad I finally found this place. Reasonable prices and great fades. Definitely check this place out!

Hoang and his bro always comes correct with the freshest fades for me and has never steered me wrong. With their price points and quality cuts, you can NEVER go wrong. No appointment fee ($5 or however much other places charges) just a str8 up cut on how you want it with no extra additives.Tips:Walk-ins welcome but sometimes can a while, just got to be lucky.Call the shop to see when theyre available.

Been coming here for over two years, and the cuts have always been amazing. However, during the past year, theyve stopped taking reservations seriously and often overbook themselves. Sometimes theyll say someone before me was late, so theyll drop my reservation. Other times, theyll completely forget about my reservation and tell me to come back tomorrow...or next week! While their cuts have remained top-notch, their customer service is unprofessional. Im not coming here again.

Went to Floyd’s. They did a number on such a simply high and tight. Owner squeezed me in un scheduled. He was able to clean it up, on point. If you want it done right, stay away from these silly chains... I’ll be a regular here for sure. 👍🏻👍🏻

If you ever decide to visit here, get a haircut from Hoang. Out of all the shops Ive visited in SoCal throughout the years, hes the most laid-back and genuine barber Ive ever had and is very easy to talk to. Best of all, he puts an insane amount of effort into every cut and only charges $13 dollars. Crazy. Big thumbs up from me.

Ive been frequenting this fine establishment since they opened, for about 2 years now. All the barbers here are consistent, which is the most important trait in any barber/ barbershop imo.Although they accept walk-ins, Id strongly recommend making an appointment so that youre not having to wait too long.Thank you, Hai & Hoang for keeping me looking my freshest through the years. Ill definitely keep coming back!

This should be a 5-star rating clearly for stylist Hais professionalism, skills, and exceptional customer service. The reason for the lower score today is due to an insulting assumption made in a casual conversation with another stylist [latino male] in which he asked me you from around here, you homeless?Who does that???Not sure if it was the just washed my wifes car / tattered attire with my official US Navy Seals cap that I was wearing or if it was due to the color of my skin (not much darker than his).I assured him that I was NOT homeless, and that I lived here in HB!From that moment on, the remainder of my time there was uncomfortable with this stylist non stop conversation in Spanish with his clients ...which by the way is against the law to speak any other language than English in a workplace!Who woulda thought...an African-American man who lives in HB!I have proudly served the United States of America as a combat Navy Seals officer in both Dessert Storm and Dessert Sheilds fighting for my freedom as well as his.This insult supersedes the 90 minute wait today for a barber.

I would highly and without any reservation whatsoever recommend Hoang at Original Cuts!My family and I were vacationing in Bolsa Chica, and we happened upon this barber shop. My son, age 12, spied the shop and spontaneously said he wanted to get his hair cut. We wandered in, and after watching Hoang and the meticulous way he was cutting a gentlemans hair, we stayed and waited. Hoang was worth the wait! Hoang took almost 45 minutes to cut my sons shaggy mop into a stylish hairstyle befitting of any man, young or old. He used a number of different razors, scissors with a razor, scissors by themselves, and thinning shears, He paid the most careful attention to the haircut and then blew it dry and styled it beautifully. Honestly, it was the best haircut my son has ever received! When we returned to camp, my sons hair was the talk of his brother, his nephew, and his friend-- all of these boys wanted the same hair cut and wanted Hoang to cut their hair. Needless to say, I made three separate trips to see Hoang, and he gave my other son, my nephew, and their friend the same care, attention, and detail to their hair cuts as he did with my first son. Each of the boys hair was so incredible, and they all looked so very handsome thanks to Hoang.The kicker-- Hoang only charged $12 per hair cut! I told him that he was way undercharging for the time and care he spent not only with my boys, but with others whose hair we also watched him cut. I compensated him accordingly, as he was worth every penny! Hoang is a talented professional, and he deserves the recognition and the payment for his talent! I wish I lived in the Huntington Beach area, because Hoang would be the only barber I would ever take my sons to. When we return to the area, you can be sure that we will be back in!
