Frankie was so awesome! He cut and styled my 7 year old sons hair. My son has super thick and mostly uncooperative hair. Frankie was able to give him a super rad cut and fade that will be super easy for me to style. I’m very impressed with this place. The music and wall decor is awesome! Nidya E. gave me my first Pandemic Haircut in 4 months. Nidya did a great job even while wearing a mask and me wearing a mask for safety. Parking was easy and free in the garage in back. The Barbershop was clean and roomy with interesting wall decorations. I was able to make an appointment to get my hair cut the same day I called asking for an appointment. Great place. Been going here for over 2 years and by far my favorite stylist is Kat. Ive had good haircuts from many of the other stylists but Kat is the best! Surprisingly the Floyds line of products are really good as well.

I absolutely adore Floyds and wouldnt choose to go anywhere else. I have a funky hair style and regularly like to get designs shaved into the side or the back of my hair, and not only does the staff at Floyds not judge me for having an out there hair style and taste, they have staff that knows how to got my hair the way I like it. I will would highly recommend the company, and this location in particular, to anyone with hair that needs cutting!

I really wanted to like this place but both times my experience was vastly crazy. The first time I went a gentlemen cut my hair, and he was doing a good job. However, during my cut he propositioned me. It made for a very uncomfortable rest of the session. Then I found out he was let go. OK cool, I went back and a lady cut my hair the second time. I told her the cut I wanted. finger length on top, with a little shorter in the front since I am thinning and buzz around the side at lever 3. I have gotten this same cut for years, but the lady got upset with me telling me it wasnt enough information and she wasnt spending all day cutting my hair. I said she didnt have to and walked out. It is a bummer because I really wanted to like this place.

BUT !!! today I just called to make a appointment and had a horrible experience the guy who answered the phone was rude indifferent to my questions lied. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he was..... Ya okay. I along with my girlfriend live literal right in next bulding my brother and his Gf live down the hall. Im asking them and all our friends to never go there again.

I asked the gal if she could fix something real quick and her response was, “I already finished.” Why hand the guest a mirror if you won’t fix something, is it just for show...?

Was early to an appointment i made, they never took me. After waiting for 20 minutes after the appointment start time i said forget it and left. I was a regular customer here, but i wont be coming back

Made an appointment for 4pm. I did not request a particular stylist. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and checked in at the desk. The young lady told me she would let the stylist know I had arrived. I watched several stylist chating and relaxing. I sat there in clear view of the front desk and the young lady that I had checked-in with. After waiting until 4:15 I went to the desk to ask what the delay was. By that time another employee was at the desk, along with the original young lady who was busy on her phone. When I asked about the delay, the second person asked me my name and if I had checked-in. I replied yes, a few minutes before my appointment at 4. At that point the person behind the desk looked at her computer screen and asked again if I had checked-in, I again replied yes, with her and pointed at the young lady on the phone. The second person looked at the computer screen for a few moments, then said Ill let your stylist know you are here, at which point I told her that I no longer wished to have my hair cut there and walked out. If this had been a isolated incident, I would have let it go, however this is the second time at this location I have had this problem. The stylist that has cut my hair there in the past has done an excellent job, its too bad she lost a customer because her management and support staff is incompetent.

Cassie is the only person I allow to touch my hair, I have gone through so many barbers in this town after 3or 5 cute they seem to all get complacent. Cassie is constantly taking her time, every cut is the best.

Went there last night and my son got his hair cut by Maria and it looks incredible. She was quick and he felt like a million dollars. Would have given her 5 stars. However, my husband got a beard trim and a haircut from another individual (I didn’t catch her name) and it is no doubt the most unflattering cut I’ve seen on him. I asked him what happened when we left and he said, “was the most hostile haircut I’ve ever gotten.” He said that she asked what he wanted and he gave some direction, “short on the sides and long on top” and that’s how it ended up. He said she even accidentally cut herself mid haircut and didn’t immediately stop to get a bandaid. I can’t say I won’t take my son back to Maria because she was amazing. It’s too bad the rest of the experience was so overwhelmingly poor. It definitely makes a difference who you get at this location.

Skye was my hair dresser. I asked specifically for collar bone length hair and its now above my shoulders. We also discussed layers and I told her I did not want any, but somehow I have lots and lots of short chunky bits. She also upcharged me for full service when I asked for only the hair cut.

My experience hasnt been that great at the Huntington Beach location. I had my last experience ten days ago when I took my 11 year old son for the second time, never did we think wed be this disappointed. Let me start off by saying that we really make a huge effort in going there since we are really in no place to be paying $30 and up for kids haircut but I try really hard to pump up my sons self esteem by going to what I thought had the best barbers/stylist in town. We were greeted then told they would be right with us, after all we booked an appointment for 3:30, we waited patiently then we were told we would be helped in 10 mins... well 10 mins became 30 mins. Finally getting helped a little after 4:00. We got introduced by Kat H. my son sat in her chair and 10mins later she was practically done and wanted to compare the photo we had from our previous visit. She went back and 10 mins later, she informed me my son had jerked his head so therefore she messed up on a designed he wanted on the side of his head. My son clearly upset and almost in tears spoke up and said no, mom, I didnt move. I was pretty upset not only at the mistake but at her attitude... blaming my son wasnt right when it wasnt his fault. Shes the barber with the clippers in hand, right? Then she began to argue with me and not even apologize for her mess up. Thats completely unacceptable attitude to have when youre servicing a client. With sarcasm and lots of attitude she informed me shes been doing this a long time and continued to laugh it off. I talked it over with the manager in the shop Luis, he quickly apologized and understood there was indeed a mistake. He offered for another barber to help us and at that point we were really hesitant already... but the first day of school was the next day and wanted to see what they could do to correct it. It wasnt correctable. However the second barber tried really hard. Luis told us they were comping the haircut and the next one would also be free. What I learned today is that if you like a certain craft from a specific barber you should request them and book an appointment. I honestly thought that all barbers at Floyds are suppose to be skilled and knowledgeable. But I thought wrong. Good thing is his hair will grow back but his first day of school and self esteem will definitely be bruised by this incident. I highly warn all customers to stay away from Kat, not only does she do half- @$$ed work but she has an even worse attitude.

Not a really RELIABLE place. They post they close at 8pm you get there at 7:20 girl counting and closing saying would you an appointment for tomorrow. Lazy... La you dont like your job time to move on.

Great Vibe starting with friendly receptionist to my barbar Talina. Been coming here since they opened and never second guessed Talinas skills. Highly recommend this location and ESPECIALLY recommend asking for Talina because has a heart on her.

Well....Lets start out my first experience by saying dont bother booking an appointment. Claim to be 15 minutes behind when you get there and yeah that wasnt accurate either. Sit in single chairs against the window maybe 36 inches away from people getting haircuts while other stylists are sweeping their last clients hair on my shoes. The stylist that I got was very nice and gave me a great cut. It cost me more than the last place I was going to for bloated services like shave, massager, and hot towel. Not a fan but overall I didnt get the full services I was needing du to the late start and the amount of time it took. Not sure I will be back to this place but I would definately get a cut from Sarai P. again if I did return. She did great.
