Quick, efficient, friendly service. Great location, plenty of parking. Entrance is from the south lanes of Beach boulevard only, between Warner and Slater just past the Quality Inn and it is well sign posted.

I had a hard time finding the place as it is located in the back behind another business. Make sure to turn right just past the hotel on Beach Blvd. You can only enter from Beach not from the rear as my navigation was telling me. Place is great. Im happy and my car passed the smog check!

Took my vehicle here last Saturday. There was a wait, but he worked quickly to get through everyone in line.Vehicle was running fine, no issues. Left it running, as he instructed. Before he even started the test and was plugging in, he did something to start tripping a check engine light. He brought me over, said that he wouldnt run the test today as it would fail.He printed the error code for me, and cleared it after I asked. Error code said unknown error, and the report was for 96 Toyota and had someone elses Vin number. (Not my 2011 Subaru).He didnt charge me, and was fair the whole time. Said I could bring it in Monday after driving it 50-60 miles and couple of start/stop cycles to reset the OBD.I took it for a short drive later that day, no issues. Its run fine since then, no errors and just cleared a Smog Test at another shop. I dont know what happened, but I dont trust his expertise. 100 miles later now, still no issues and nothing since he was working in it. Ill change my review if something comes up, but from my perspective, it seems like incompetence and I cant recommend this shop.

Whilst other shops were closed on the holiday weekend, they were open. My car didnt pass the first time, and the guy asked if I had the car off for a while or had a dead battery. Both of which were true the day before. He told me to drive it for 40 miles so the oxygen sensor could calibrate.

First come, first served.A little bit hard to find, cuz it is in the back of another business, next to the Motell.Just look for all the SMOG ✔ signs along the street before the driveway entrance.Highly recommend this location!

Weve been going to this smog check place for a few years now. Henry is very friendly and professional and he gets the job done in 15 minutes. Theres always a coupon on the website you can print and bring with you - with the coupon we pay a total of $40.

Honest Guys clearly mentioned all the things before the smog test and just charged total $45 smog certificate directly uploaded to DMV website.

Fortunately, I showed up with no waiting. The operators were professional and I was informed of the exact price out the door prior to the test. I was in and out in a short time with the required DMV certification for renewal.

And when I questioned him about it, instead of being a nice, curious, and understanding business owner, he turned into a child and put the blame on me, yelled at me, called me shady, and said he would not take any responsibility.BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CAR WITH HENRY. If he damages your car, it will be on your dime. Very poor customer service and a very poor attitude.

I never right reviews but felt it was the right thing to do in this case to avoid anyone else being tricked by this scam. This man advertises that he will do a smog check for $31.75 and an additional $10.00 for 1995 and older vehicles. I drove from Orange to his shop in Huntington Beach in my 1989 vehicle. Once there, he informed me that 1995 and older as it is referred to in his add only means 1995 to 1990. Since my vehicle was a 1989 it would be $90.00 for the smog check. Obviously he is using this add to get people to his shop then jacking up the price. He is disreputable and a liar. You definitelyu dont want to take your car to a man like this. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM.

Henry Skiles provided the worst service I have ever seen. He said my car was unable to run under his system. AND CHARGED ME FOR IT! Charged $30 for the labor when my car did not even get checked fully. His speech was very unpleasant to a new customer. He threatened to call the police if I dont pay. Skiles did not even take the time to explain why I had to pay the $30. Seems more of him demanding me for the money! This place does not provide the best customer service, I wish to never return to this place.

Did the job

Bait and switch on the price (it was nearly twice the on-line quote), they claim all makes and models but the guy there had no idea how to smog a jeep. He grinded the gears and then drove 30 ft with the E brake on. The confused look on his face was enough, but then he confessed he was new tot he business and hadnt seen too many cars like this. Its a Jeep Wrangler.... I think I see one every 50 yards in Huntington Beach. I didnt even let him pop the hood. Flip a U and get out of there. Leave this one ALONE!!!
