Brian, the owner is the best. He has your back and doesnt try to trick anyone of prices. For someone who knows nothing about cars, this makes me feel safe because some mechanical take advantage of that. Brian is quick and he is honest. You would think you were dealing with a family mechanic by the way he attends to you and gets the job done right without taking all your money. I appreciate him so much. I have to drive a little to get to him, but its worth it.

So I took my vehicle to a dealership who wanted to charge me $6,000+ to replace the timing chain, or they offered me a new engine for around $9,000. Brought my vehicle in to Brian who quickly determined that my timing chain was bad and estimated the cost to replace it (actually my vehicle has 3 timing chains) at $1,700. While working on my vehicle, Brian discovered that my water pump was about to go out. Total cost to repair my vehicle was $2,000. Afterwards Brian showed me the worn parts he took off my vehicle including how he determined that the water pump was going bad. Quality work, vehicle runs like new. Brian was great. He usually isnt open on Saturdays but happened to be there so I brought my Surburban down for an oil change. He changed the oil quickly and checked the plugs so I would know if I needed any other work. He did not charge me to check the plugs. I highly recommend A E Automotive. The price was right.
