My family and I have been going to ervins for 17 years. He is by far the most reasonable, most friendly and most important and a rare trait in mechanics honest. I have told all my friends to go there and they come to me and tell me thank you for giving me a reliable mechanic.

Shady. Paid over a couple grand for something I was assured was a simple fix in the first place.. THEN I was told that I still owe $900 on the tab (After I was 100% positive I paid in full.. I would call in at least 3 times a month and ask if anything else went on my tab.. he would assure me ) 40 pages worth of bank statements later and some arguing, I was CORRECT I did not owe a penny . I was then refused receipts and instead was given vague details of what was actually done to the car.. Less than maybe 300 miles later guess what... the shotty work failed miserably and ended up causing some damage to a piston. Needless to say I take it elsewhere only to find out, my guy here in HB had replaced NOTHING .They were the same valves, same springs and same seals that were ALREADY on the car when I brought it his shop.. I literally asked the guy to clean up threads and add a tap insert for my exhaust manifolds. . So theres my opinion on that. Enjoy!

Very fair and reasonable.Ervin is very friendly and will tell you what you need done now and what can wait till later. He will even work with you on payment. I will always take all of my cars there.
