Chris is an honest dude who takes care of his customers and will always make things right. And the turn around rate is pretty reasonable. Side note- its always better to show youre actually serious and actually go up to the shop and speak with him 1 on 1 as apposed to talking on the phone.

I have been using Chris for over 20 years and he has always been HONEST. If you want a mechanic who is going to do what they say and not try to come up with a bunch of extra and unnecessary repairs. I would strongly recommend Chris Car Doc.

I used Chris on multiple occasions, he fixed my rear end on my old fox body that I used to own. He also has worked multiple times on my daily drive 08 mustang gt. I had them install my suspension upgrades which was just about every single suspension component under the car and they did a phenomenal job with a great alignment. They also replaced my spark plugs and helped me diagnose a leak that was happening on my transmission. Chris is a mustang expert and when it comes to my mustang I will always trust Chris.

SECOND POST:I see Chris Carroll as a buddy because that is how laid back and sincere he is. I found Chris back in 2016 after another local shop ripped me off rebuilding the engine on my 1994 GT. I was extremely nervous taking my car to another shop as my first experience was so awful. I expressed my concerns to Chris, and he assured me that he would make it right. My car was done in ONE WEEK! And ran perfect! Chris just tuned a newer car which is a 2004 Mustang GT that was one of my DYI projects. Chris safely tuned the car and made sure that it was at the right power levels for the stock bottom end.Unfortunately due to some rookie install mistakes on my end there ended up being some minor issues with the car later in the day. Chris told me to bring it in and he fixed all the issues FOR FREE! I really can’t even begin to explain how thrilled I am with these guys... As long as Chris isn’t busy you can call him up any day, he’ll answer the phone by your name (if he knows you) and he’ll just talk race-car stuff with you for 30 minutes. The guy is the most genuine dude I have ever met in this industry. Shawn is also great! Birds of a feather flock together!! As I have been saying and will continue to say... THIS IS THE BEST performance shop in Houston!

My 08 Bullit was making a weird rattle on the shift. My regular mechanic refered me to these guys and so i brought my car on over. First couple of days were a little shakey but they found the issue and got me back up in running. I was prepared for way more but when i saw the final bill i was suprised and paid it happily. These guys at this shop are down to earth and very reasonable. Quality is something I am always after and they do a great job on all the things I bring by from my shop. Great techs, a neat and clean waiting area with reasonable rates. I will be back again soon to get my Impala SS lowered and aligned soon! They have one of the best Alignment techs under that roof. Shawn got my 1988 Trans Am GTA to line back up and drive straight again after 2 head on collisions in that car. A few other shops had a go at her in the past, but Shawn got it right. I bought a 92 Mustang convertible several years ago and had terrible time getting it restored. The shops I used took forever, the work was questionable, and communication was terrible. I finally had a friend recommend Chris to me and I moved the car over to his shop. I only wish I had been aware of Chris Car Doctor when I first bought the car--it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. My experience with Chris was the complete opposite of what I had been experiencing--he was extremely knowledgeable (had to re-do some of the work that was not done right at the other shops), all of his staff were very professional, and communication was outstanding as they called regularly to let me know how things were coming along. He was also great in helping me stick to my budget with many refurbished parts at a discount. I would recommend Chris to anyone and I am already contemplating some more upgrades. I wouldnt take my vehicle to anyone else at this point! Thanks Chris and the entire team!

Excellent experience! Knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt all describe the work on my 10-year old 4Runner. Replacement of the evaporator core involved complete disassembly of the dashboard, and reassembly. Work was done in a timely and professional manner, and I couldnt be more pleased to have my car back with functioning air conditioning, and without any grease, grime, or dirt (other than what I had when I took it in).Thanks guys!!!

These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF. I wouldnt recommend any other shop to take your vehicle to. My Mustang GT had been down for almost 4 months with a mystery issue with the computer. After taking it to two dealerships, I was damn near hopeless. Finally, my buddy who has a mustang recommended Chris Car Doc, and they knew exactly what was wrong and had it fixed in a day. Hands down the best in the area. I live in south Houston and its worth the drive to get my stuff fixed right the first time!

RECOMMENDED: I use these guys to dyno my race car. They take appointments and are very accommodating. Their Dynojet dyno is well maintained and they know how to run it. I drive 30 miles to work with Chis rather and other shops closer by.
