Dropped a child like a hot cake. Either messages are not given to therapists or therapist choose not to return calls. Waited for therapist to confirm insurance to continue with therapy for a child that has history of self harm. Never confirmed to continue therapy. No returned calls, no bill absolutely nothing.Edited to add:You wouldnt find a record of me as it was not my biological child. I drove the child there several weeks in a row. As I sat there I seen other children enter your building as their parents waited in their vehicles.We thought insurance was handled at intake but apparently not as the counselor called stating that the child couldnt been seen until the bill was paid.I drove the Parent to your office to give insurance info for the second time.... As stated above no return calls to verify insurance payment to continue therapy. Drove parent back for some sort of documentation or bill and was looked at like a deer in head lights.Your response is unprofessional and should make every weary of your office.

So far, everybody at Diversified Counseling has been respectful and professional. Kelly Shuler is an excellent therapist, and everybody else in the office has been a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!

Don’t appreciate the way Nichole speaks to her patients... she’s rude, assumptive and inconsiderate!

Cancellation policy is ridiculous and the scheduling is lazy. There were days that said they were open but then the Dr said no (as if we inconvenienced her by asking).

In this extraordinary time in history, every staff member from receptionist to counselors to manager has responded quickly and efficiently to transition to telehealth therapy and DBT meetings. I’ve lived with and done battle with major depressive disorder since a first suicide attempt at age 12. I don’t know how I could possibly be more grateful to DCCS: Mark, Nikki, office manager Vicki. These talented people affirm me always while at the same time challenging me to be willing to change my responses, to understand that I can control my emotions and that I am more than my feelings. I feel absolutely secure and protected by this group of people who clearly respect one another and every client. Please do call if you’re struggling now – you will get the help you need.

We liked Kelly alot, however the cancellation policy is a bit ridiculous! Tried to reachedule on a Monday for a Tuesday evening appointment. No appointments available for the rest of the week. So we would have to use that one and only cancellation as our free one, and if that happened again, we are charged... never had a policy like that at any counselors or doctors before. Not flexible or available.

My wife and I did premarital counseling with Kelly and benefited greatly from it. Kelly was wonderful. She was able to work around our schedule and was very easy to talk to. She offers a great deal of knowledge on marriage and other life challanges. Kelly answered any questions we had. We would recommend Kelly to anyone seeking their counseling needs.

Mark has been amazing. Great insight and personality. I would recommend him to anyone. He is honest without being rude, listens intently and provides helpful feedback.

Very caring and understanding. Were quick to come up with techniques that would help. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Mark fell completely asleep on my dad during his therapy appointment. He has almost fell asleep one other time. This is completely unprofessional and instead of apologizing he called my dad to reschedule the appointment. Disappointed is an understatement. Don’t be a counselor if you can’t stay awake during appointments. My father trusted this counselor and he totally caused a set back in his journey to recovery.

Very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone. Caring staff very knowledgeable. Great DBT knowledge. You feel very welcome and at home.

I was a patient but not any longer after speaking with the office manager Jennifer. I have never been treated so rudely and spoken to with so much disrespect. Office staff are the forefront of any office and they missed the mark with her. She was horribly condescending during a phone call conversation when all I wanted to do was leave a message for Kelly, the therapist to call me back. Apparently, per our conversation, she only has 3 weeks left at this job so she can be as rude as she would like. Shame on me for not checking the reviews here on Google before making an appointment. Its obvious that this woman is an issue and does not know how to treat people with respect. Anyone who could employ a person like her, seeing these reviews and still choose to keep her does not deserve my business.

My experience was

Great counseling services. Very flexible with times and great staff! They are so caring and really helping my daughter!

After getting into contact with them, I will absolutely not be using their services. My husband and I have 3 children, two under two, which makes me a stay at home Mom. My husband works very hard and full time at that. When asked what type of insurance we would be using I told the intake woman that we would be using Medicaid. She continues by saying .. So I assume your husband doesnt work because youre on Medicaid? Uhm, no. I simply asked what their hours were to work around his schedule and she continued by telling me that they have a few slots open during day time reserved for Medicaid patients because they dont pay very well! When I asked what they charge normally without insurance as to see if we could get a time that works around his work schedule she said we would get in trouble for FRAUD for not using our benefits. What?! Is this woman crazy? We will be going somewhere else without a doubt.

I wanted to get therapy here. But when I called I was greeted by a very rude and condescending girl. Definitely shouldn’t have someone like that on staff for a place trying to HELP people’s mental health.

Mark has always made himself available, has been a good listener and has helped me open my eyes to a different way of looking at things.

Kelly is Wonderful!!
