Did a sink installation w/ a garbage disposal.It looked great when he was finished with it.

I had a undermount sink replaced on a granite counter top in a bathroom in my rental home. It was tough job due to the old cracked sink being epoxied to the counter but the handyman did an good job getting it out and installing the new one. The price was reasonable, and Im happy with the work. Stephanie in the office was also very friendly and accommodating when I had to reschedule twice due to shipping and delivery dates changing due to ordering online from Home Depot.

Dimitry was professional and did a great job hanging pictures and a mirror as well as moving heavy boxes in my garage. The only negative thing was that I wanted a rug which he rolled up to be carted off and Mr. Handyman was going to charge $150.00 for this. When I spoke with the woman who set up the appt., she did not quote this price. The rug is still in our garage.

This business was hired to install 4 drapery rods of various lengths. With the exception of the price, which I thought was too high based on what I had done, I felt Dmitry did an excellent job. Perhaps next time, I will get the cost upfront as well as several bids before aetting up an appointment!

Wow. The handyman arrived with no uniform - contrary to the websites description, which was part of the reason I felt comfortable hiring them. We needed attic stairs replaced, and he spent the first 15 minutes trying to convince us to repair them instead. Mind you - you are charged by the hour. Only after we conceded did he decide we were right in the first place. So that meant $50 to tell me what I hired him to do. He also came without an assistant (which we were willing to pay for) because I was told on scheduling he was able to install them alone. However, once he was in the attic and unattached the ladder from the ceiling, he needed my husband to help him. Instead of carefully lowering the latter, he dropped it, and my husbands hands were wedged in the ladder assembly as it fell to the ground. It tool myself and my adult son to lift it up and pry it apart to get both hands free. We told the technician he was done and got my husbands hands on ice waiting for him to clean up. Instead the technician kept going like we said nothing - never checked on my husband - until we literally had to tell him multiple times we were not allowing him to continue.Unfortunately, calling the office didnt help. I got no response from calling, and in texting the number I had with everything that had happened, I was told, Sorry, Im on another line. I texted back that we were literally stuck here with the technician when we needed to get to a doctor, and that I wanted the owner of the franchise to contact me ASAP. Over 30 minutes later the woman who booked the appointment - not the owner - called back, and explained that she was just slammed today. I do not understand how an injured customer falls lower in priority to calls coming in to the office. I am still waiting to hear from the owner. I have medical bills, damage to my wall, and a hole in my ceiling where the attic stairs were.Followup: Please look up this specific location of Mr. Handyman with the Houston Better Business Bureau. They have an F rating and are fraudulently using the BBB logo. The BBB is taking action against them. In addition, we requested in writing and by phone that the owner of the business contact us regarding the medical bill for my husbands hands. It has been 6 days and we have not heard a thing. If you call their phone number, they are not accepting calls. HUGE. RED. FLAGS.

I am very pleased with the work done by Drew with Mr Handyman. Drew was professional and very nice and efficient. His work was excellent and I think he could fix or install anything. He worked diligently to get all the work done when it turned out to be more work than I realized. I have just moved into an apartment and he hung pictures and wall lamps, put together a vanity desk, installed towel holders, moved things around, put on a new shower head, etc. I am now settled into my new place thanks to Mr Handyman. I highly recommend Drew and Mr Handyman.

This company sends me an email about Dryer Vent cleaning and Hot water heater flushing at a discounted rate. Not only did they send an email but gave me a call also. I told the caller that I would call back and schedule before the expiration date of the promotion. Here we are today, I called on yesterday and no answer and once I reply back to the email. I finally gets a call only to tell me that they are sorry and don’t know why I received an email from their office. Clearly I have done busy with this company in the past. They told me that they don’t service my area and would get fined. If you send out an email offering a service as a promotion, you should honor it. Never will I used this company again.

My repairman Drew was able to come out the next day to perform various handyman tasks around the house. He arrived within the designated window and was professional and great to work with. He understood all the issues presented and ensured he kept me in the loop on any difficulties he encountered getting them done. When I asked questions, he explained things clearly to me and was overall great to work with. For any future handyman needs, I will be using this Company and requesting Drew.

I’ve used Mr. Handyman more than once and have always been happy and satisfied with their work. The people are friendly, polite and very helpful always doing what is needed. I will use them again and would recommend to everyone.

I was not happy with the handyman that came out. He was a couple hours late which I didn’t mind because I understand that some jobs take longer. The problem was that he was supposed to fix the chains on 5 fans and do 2 drywall patches but he wasn’t able to fix any fans and didn’t even work on 2 of them. He tried to charge me $637 for the 2 small patches and tried to tell me he was giving me a deal. That price was without painting the patches. He stood on my kids beds instead of using his ladder which was right next to the bed. He didn’t cover my carpet when he sprayed texture and got it down my walls and on my stairs and handrails which I had to clean when he left. I ended up asking to speak to a manager and then he reduced the price to $443. He was at my house for 2 days just to complete that. He was really slow and once I caught him sitting in a chair texting. He said he was texting his boss. I ended up calling an electrician. In fairness, I will say that it was easy to schedule an appointment and they did call to tell me he was running late. The manager also tried to get him to lower the price but I felt the work wasn’t worth the price.

We had a large section of fence including posts that needed replacing. Others had quoted ridiculous amounts. Mr. Handyman charged a reasonable amount. The Handyman they sent did an excellent job. Very pleased with the results.

Large pictures, hung 12 feet up a wall, project went well. Gutter repair went well. And the big project, repairing/sealing seams between driveway and sidewalk slabs was done very well also. Worked with me if issues arose and resolved them. Happy customer.

My experience with Mr. Handyman was exceptional. They may be called Mr. Handyman but they’re capable of so much. They reconfigured my laundry room to create a true mudroom. Took down a wall, made the structure of the cubbies look like it was built with the house, eliminated a doorframe and created a seamless transition into the house from the garage. They also put knobs on all my kitchen cabinets and built shelves for my living room. All was done in a timely manner and with excellent care and attention to detail. I would not reccomend this company! They sent guy to my house for electrical problem and he replaced outlet and days after he left I figured out it was breaker and I am not an electrician. I had an appointment last Thursday for 0830am and received a call at 0845am saying the handyman that was going to come out, had a family emergency and we would need to reschedule. I did reschedule for today, Thursday, March 28 for 0830am. It is now 0952am and nobody has showed up. Needless to say I wont be using them.

Gave us a quote of 1-1/2 to 2 hours labor, plus material to repair a broken window. We agreed and when the bill came in, they had charged us 6 hours for the labor which nearly tripled the previously quoted price. Buyer beware, make sure you get your quote in writing, and guaranteed if you chance it with this company.
