After looking into and visiting several schools. When we walked into Ivy Kids, we instantly knew it was the school for our child. The positive energy you feel as soon as you walk in makes you feel at home. When you transition to a new environment, children are often apprehensive and have a hard time adjusting. Thankfully, this did not occur at Ivy Kids! The loving environment that the staff provide, allows for kids to quickly and easily adjust. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. They take pride in developing and providing individualized care. The staff communicate effectively and respond to all issues within a timely manner. The staff are amazing, and the Director is really committed to providing a clean, safe, fun and loving environment. We couldn’t be happier with the choice we made. When we see our child happy, that makes us happy as parents. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for quality care and a positive learning environment

I moved from Boston and was quite nervous in selecting a center for summer camp which will meet my kids need and provide them with nurturing environment. However, all my worries and concerns were taken away as soon as I walked in the center. The front desk staff are the most professional and friendly people. All the teachers are wonderful and ensures that each kid is engaged with activities. They treat each kid with respect, care, and fairness. They have different activities or field trips planned for each day. My kids have been so happy here that they dont want me to pick them up early. My only regret is that I didnt find this center sooner for my kids. I highly recommend Ivy Kids to everyone!!!

I love this place and so does my son. As a parent, I deeply appreciate the staff for being caring, you just get this good and positive energy as soon you interact with any of them. I can see the growth and learning every day! All the teachers are loving and very attentive. It’s very comforting to know my son is in a caring environment while he is not home. If I could give this school 10 stars I would!! Ms. Magda and Ms. Sarjat in Toddlers are super awesome, they take such great care of the children and it shows when my son runs to give them a hug, it melts my heart! I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones.

This is important as a baseline for their success as they continue their academic careers. We cannot imagine how we could have coped without knowing that our children were in a safe, fun place every day. What they have learned at Ivy Kids, as well as the warmth and respect that they are shown, has enabled them to be outgoing, independent and respectful of others. We are so proud of them and thankful to Ivy Kids teachers and director for their continual help and guidance.

My daughters have been attending Ivy Kids for over two years and I am very pleased with it. My little one started at 3 months and is now a toddler. I LOVE that you can access the cameras in your kids room and see what’s going on at any time. This is the main reason I chose this daycare. The teachers are caring and do a lot of good activities. This daycare is like no other, I highly recommend it!

I am beyond happy that today was my sons last day at this center. Communication is horrible and they frequently change staff. My son was enrolled there for 6 months and had 3 different teachers leave during that time frame. The school never once communicated this to the parent. You would just look at the camera and see a random new person handling your child. I dont need to know the reason behind why the teacher left but I should still be informed when my child has a new or different teacher so I can at least know the teachers name and who is around my child. I had to call several times to make sure my son ate breakfast/snacks because the teacher would only fill out the progress report when she felt like it. During the enrollment process, I was told they would help potty train him and I would be given weekly take home activities to do with him that go along with what hes learning in school. I had to call several times and speak to several different people in person just to get a simple answer about the information I was promised. Each person I talked to about this acted confused but this is something they told me they provided when my son was enrolled! I looked at the camera on 5/19/21 and the teacher had the kids watching videos on an iPad. Why am I paying you all this money weekly just to have my child watch videos??? I am grateful that I found another daycare for my son and I look forward to them actually doing what they say they are going to do. If youre looking for a daycare thats going to lie and make empty promises, then this one is for you.

This school is seriously one of the worst school that iv ever enrolled my child in the staff is unprofessional a teacher hurt my child and the refused to follow up on it and just threw it under the rug like if nothing happened

I have a 9 month year old son, named Maurice, who attends the Ivy Kids Barker Cypress location. I am a working parent who (along with other parents in his class) watches the classroom camera all throughout the day.I was inspired to take time out of my busy schedule and send a review because I just saw, on the camera, how Happy Bailey, Ava, Caleb and my son Maurice are to see Ms. Angela in their classroom again.Ms. Angela was my sons teacher from the time he was 10 weeks old and has taught him so much in his 9 months.But unfortunately she was recently pulled from their his classroom and placed in a class with the old kids, but seeing the smiles on the babies faces lets me know that the Infant A classroom is were she truly belongs.Ivy Kids is an amazing school and not only has a phenomenal learning program but also loving and caring people from the time you walk in the school until the time you leave.Every morning my son and I are greeted with a Big Smile and Welcome from Ms. Megan.When we get to his classroom Ms. Veronica is there and ready to take write down his daily meal schedule and sing songs and play with him.By 9:30am Ms. Mary (who I call his Mother Away from Home) comes and feeds, kisses, rocks and hugs him all throughout the day until I get there.Often one of his favorite teachers, Ms. Nikki, comes and kiss, smile, talk and play to him.Finally, when I go to pick up Maurice and I am once again greeted by a Sweet Angel, named Ms. Ruth, who sees my son and I off with a warm goodbye.I truly enjoy all of the educators and the owners of Ivy Kids on Barker Cypress and I would recommend them to any parent who wants the Best Care for their children =)

Both of my kids are cared for and loved unconditionally at Ivy. I trust the teachers like if they were family. Thank you for implementing such a great curriculum and culture at ivy kids. My son goes to this school and he loves every bit of it. He is 1 years old and will be 2 in 20 days. His teachers in the toddler room Ms. Jackie and Ms. Donna are AMAZING! My toddler is speaking phenomenally to be only one years old. He is counting up to the numbers 15 and is trying form all his sentences to me and his grandma! Outta all the daycares he has been in this one is the best! He is loved like he is their own child and I’m so grateful for that! Being a single mom these are the kinda things you look for in teacher for your kids. Ones who actually love your children and wanna see the growth in them just as much as you do. Ivy Kids has been amazing for our family. We are confident in their care of our children and love how much are children learn, grow and flourish here. The teachers love the kids and bond with each of them. They have fun field trips, splash pad days, computer lab and so much more to engage and challenge the kids. We love their attention to detail and love that are kids are so well taken care of here.

One of the best daycares in the town; very friendly and communicative staff. They would listen to your questions and concerns and follow through them. Ms. Maria, my daughters (TwosB) morning teacher is really caring and loving, so does Ms. Renee-the afternoon teacher. Im really happy to find such a loving and caring environment for my daughter. Based on my experience with the daycare, so far, I highly recommend this place to any carrying parents.

We have been sending or son here since he was 2 almost 3 and we have been very happy with the level of attention and care they give our child. Now he is off to kindergarten and we know he is more than prepared. When there were things that we felt he needed some extra help in they developed a learning plan for him and say with him reach day until he was where he needed to be. There have been a couple issues here and there but they shears worked to resolved then quickly. They staff there is great never for a moment had I felt like my child was unsafe or not being taken care of.

The Best daycare i have ever put my child in! the center is clean/spotless. The teachers are caring, always in communication with the parents, and the summer programs are absolutly fun for the kids. my daughter always looks forward to going to daycare- so to me, that speaks volumes! I cannot imagine taking my child to another daycare or trusting anyone else to care for her.

I have 2 boys who attend Ivy Kids ( Barker Cypress) and they absolutely love going there. Mrs.Stacy and Ms.Jessica two loving, caring and amazing teachers, my son get to the classroom with smile and comes out with smile on his face and as a parent that is most important thing for me seeing him enjoy his classroom and his teachers. My older son is in school age and love spending his mornings and after school time with Mrs.Shawn, Mrs.July and Ms. Tiana playing and learning along. Amazing school with amazing staff.

Ivy Kids and Mrs. Angela have been a blessing. My son is 2 1/2 and watching his growth socially, physically and mentally has been so much fun. He is greeted every morning by his name through out the center and gives high fives to his friends. He is encouraged to make friends, answer questions in classroom settings and is encouraged to be himself. It warms my heart everyday when I get to drop him off, to know he is surround by wonderful teachers and Mrs. Shondra. They are true rockstars!!

We have been enrolled at Ivy Kids for 4 years, and I am so glad we found this school. Ivy Kids provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment with a multi-faceted curriculum. The Ivy Kids staff and teachers are truly invested in the growth and development of the students. The school always has fun events planned for the kids. They utilize the WatchMeGrow and Preschool2Me Apps which allow parents to conveniently check in on the kids from their phones. The teachers also regularly send emails with photos and videos capturing various activities throughout the day. Our two kids have truly excelled at this school, and I have been so impressed with how much they have learned. Most importantly, our kids are excited to go to school everyday and come home with happy smiles!

Love this school from the moment I walked in. Our family did not have a great experience at a previous preschool and we decided it was best to pull him. When I took a tour of Ivy Kids the staff was really friendly and listened to my concerns and what we wanted in a preschool. Specifically Ms.Destini reached out and wanted to make things right and make sure we had a good experience. We have been here for over a month and my son is really happy and talks about his teacher all the time. He frequently asks when does he get to go back. They make you feel welcomed and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about the well being and education of the children. I would recommend this school 100%!

Our kiddo attends here and really enjoys it. He goes on about his day when we pick him up and he looks forward to going each day. His teacher, Mrs. Ulisa, has been fantastic with him and we really appreciate her. She has worked with him to get him used to the structure and routine of the classroom atmosphere. We could not be happier. Thank you!

My daughter has been attending Ivy Kids since she was 3 months old. Ms. Angela is an amazing teacher! Angela treats my daughter like an angel and she has taught Katelyn a lot. Unfortunately my daughter is no longer in Ms. Angelas class, but whenever she sees Ms. Angela her face lights up!

Our son began going to Ivy Kids at 15 months. The teachers at that level were excellent and we never felt like he was being taken care of with any less attention than we would give ourselves. His teachers seemed to love him and appreciate his presence in their class. We were so happy with this school that even when my job location changed I still went out of my way to drop off our son. Im not sure why or how things declined so rapidly, but suddenly teachers started quitting that we were familiar with. From day to day there would be a different teacher watching over the kids. Some clearly could care less about the job of watching children. I cant say that all was bad, but our son got to the point where he said he would rather be anywhere, but at this school. He also on numerous occasions expressed his disdain for the main teacher and saying she was the meanest teacher in the whole wide world. 2 yr olds dont make these stories on their own. They may hear from others, but I seriously doubt that he was making this up. He has since switched schools, but he does still remind us that he never ever wants to go back to Ivy Kids. I really feel that they should have returned our money for the last week he did not attend, but they refused and said we needed to give 2 weeks notice. When kids are being treated poorly I dont think 2 weeks is necessary and they should refund no questions asked. Im telling everyone I know about how poor this school has become. They dont hold up to any of the claims of education they used to tout. I do thank them for being a solid establishment in the beginning. Its just really sad how rapidly it has declined and quality is at an all time low. Think twice before sticking your precious child in this facility.

Our daughter, Kayden has been attending Ivy Kids since she turned one and we are proud to say that after these 3 years we made the best decision ever by joining Ivy Kids. My husband and I are very impressed with the curriculum and the passion that the teachers and staff put into taking care of our children. Ivy Kids is more than just a daycare, it is a family and they really educate the kids. All of the teachers and staff not only know every child by name but they really get to know them. From the Director Ms. Shondra, Curriculum Lead Mrs. Dawn, and the amazing teachers Ms. Barbara, Ms. Angela, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Shae, Ms. Diana, Ms. Amy, Ms. Maggie I mean all of teachers are truly amazing. While we do work with Kayden at home, we can without a doubt say Ivy Kids is an equal partner with us in educating our daughter and we highly recommend them.

I love this place my daughter goes here the care they have for her is amazing !!!! I have never felt that I can go to work and not worry about looking at the cameras the staff that they have is amazing my daughter talks about ivy kids alll he time and not to mention how much she has learned I thank god that I found ivy kids !!! And the front office they are all so sweet and extremely helpful .the director there is so nice when I had a problem she did not take her time she fixed it right away thank you ivy kids !!!!

I am so happy that I came across this school, my daughter is so happy here and they keep us all engaged, the best part about everything is all of the ladies here assisted me appropriately with patience and care as I was struggling with my pregnancy and not losing a spot for my daughter, Aiden shows so much happiness just simply pulling into the parking lot alone! I have never been so comfortable and overwhelmed with genuine people who not only treat your children with respect, it’s almost as though they treat them as one of there own! I have no complaints and with even taking a break from the facility while on maternity leave Aiden is returning tomorrow neither or or myself could have been happier. I am not just saying this either guys these ladies are whole heartedly there to help wether that’s with the parents or the children! The staff welcomes you daily they never allow the business part to get in the way for there personality’s towards welcoming or departing. PHENOMENAL people! I have been looking for this type of facility for a long while and I knew when I seen how interactive everychild was not to just one of the ladies but all of them I immediately knew Aiden and I had chose the right home for her to be properly taking care of while on her journey to doscover education, social skills,Literacy and more. I am glad that we are apart of Ivy Kids on barker cypress it will continue to be our place of choice.

My son has been here for a year and we have constantly been very unsatisfied with this schools service. We are so glad we got him out of there but feel very disappointed that we did not do it any sooner. The amount of neglect and harassment that my child had gone through is painful. As a parent and healthcare professional, the only advise I can give is if you really care about your childs future, please consider a school that prioritizes compassion and safety for children over collecting tuition. I have had so many concerns regarding my sons care and have sent emails with no response or accountability held. The director Destini, was quick to put the blame on my son for everything that was brought up. The owners never once approached us regarding any of these complaints until I sent the notice to get my son out of there. This is very concerning if the owners didnt know about what was going on all this time and decided to come the last minute. Destini has told me that the teachers at this school cannot provide a safe environment for my son and that was enough for me to realize that enrolling my child in this school was a huge mistake. We are very disappointed and words cannot describe how much emotional damage this director has brought upon us. I would never recommend this school to anyone.
