Really bad service I had my documents waiting for 5 weeks and they didnt even open my folder

I have been doing business with Houston Tax Consultants for 2 decades. I have used them for both Business and Personal Tax Returns. The owner and others in the office are courteous, competent and helpful. I have recommended them to others.

I have used Mr. Juan Frias as my accountant since 1995. He is professional as is his staff. I highly recommend using Houston Tax Consultants. I have referred many of my friends to them.

I have been using this firm since 2008 and i would not go anywhere else. Very professional, any time I ask for old tax returns...they have them and send them back in minutes....not days....good people

I came here to amend a tax return that another local tax preparer messed up. They got the work done quickly and the price was very fair. I will return next year.

I came here for help regarding a small business I have on the side. That day, I was able to sit with the owner while he explained to me the differences b/w the different business structures and which one would be best for my individual needs. Everybody there was friendly and extrememly helpfull. I have recomended them to friends and will be back later this year to do my taxes with them.

THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! I had my 2014 taxes filed here and they neglected to file my payment plan to the IRS correctly! Ive set up a payment plan before and know that you dont get a penalty fee for not paying your balance in full. (thats what the payment plan system is for because everyone is not rich) They do however, charge you a one time fee for the payment plan. The Houston Tax consultants on clay road basically called me a liar and that I didnt know what I am talking about. I incurred many fees due to their negligence. Do not I REPEAT DO NOT use this tax office unless you are ok with throwing money away!!!

Unfortunately, weve been running into some bad experiences with accountants.We found these accountants by our house and hoped to have a good experience, but lack of responsiveness, no calls back after 5 days, etc., we decided to drop them. Lots of flakes out there.
