I’ve been waiting for Tristin’s reply for almost a month.Besides that, after seeing your reply in my Google review that “my name didn’t ring a bell for you”, I’m definitely moving forward with another company.Actually it became even worse when I saw a second reply saying that your company has only luxury pools that don’t fit in my budget - even though I’ve NEVER said that.I would be ashamed in your place.You don’t justify “budget” with your lack of professionalism by not even responding to my email.That just goes to show that luxury and high end don’t mean quality and respect at all.Thanks god we got your company true colors beforehand. We had major pipes burst, Justin and his guys were able to come out so quickly to assess the damages. They made quick work of the repairs and communicated throughout the time. Very knowledgeable and helpful team to work with. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’d recommend them over the people that built our pool.

Answered on a Saturday and within an hour was out to trouble shoot. Went above and beyond, using all resources to fix the issue. Part delivery was quick and Justin was in and out with the repair. Good quality work, very knowledgeable and excellent customer service!

I spoke to many companies before hiring Js. By far the most educated company we spoke with. Construction can sometimes be a head ache but Liz & Justin made the process so easy. These Google reviews are not accurate for this business. Do yourself a favor and check yelp reviews on how he actually conducts business. Every 1 star on yelp is 100% accurate. This was my second month with Js pools and he hasnt showed up all month. The 1st month was below par as well. During the first month he brushed the walls 1 time in the 4wks. I dont think he was adding any chemicals either. Within a couple days after his service I started seeing algea beginning to grow. I have called, texted, and emailed him with no response. His voicemail is always full (probably from all the angry customers). Do yourself a favor and use anyone else besides this guy.

After the winter storm in Texas, it was very difficult to get repairs done to our system, as so many people has experienced failures and damage. We had not initially considered Js because they were so far from where we live, but they came highly recommended by a family member. My husband had made a few simple repairs himself but we ended up needing a new pump and J, understanding the difficulty so many were having with getting needed repairs, drove very far out of his way to make a delivery to us after hours so that we could get the ball rolling without further delay! THANK YOU FOR STELLAR SERVICE!

OMG! I am speechless. Justin is absolutely a rock star! He came to my house and diagnosed all my pool issues from the winter freeze. Then, he literally had it repaired and heater replaced the next day. All other pool companies I called couldnt even see me for at least a month just to give me an estimate. Justin was a God send and an absolute blessing. I will never call anyone else again for any pool issues I have. Thank you again Justin!!

After the freeze we had a couple busted valves and our heater was spraying water everywhere. After talking to several pool companies and being told it would be weeks before they could get to me, I luckily came across Js. They picked up the phone on a Sunday, did our diagnosis on Tuesday, and completed the repair that Friday. Overall very pleased with their knowledge and sense of urgency. Will be calling them for future repairs and services.

Justin is poor at responding to his customers. He is always ready to shift the blame and not take responsibility for promises he makes in his contractual agreements.

Where to even begin... we’ll start with the positive (the short list). Pool design is great and looks beautiful! Now for the negatives (I’ll try to keep it simple). We were told a 6-8 week timeline back in June, we are 6 months in and not done. We’ve been through 2 project managers and now just dealing with Justin whom you can completely forget talking to on the phone unless he needs payment. You might get a text back every once in a blue moon and it’s usually a vague excuse as to why nothing gets done in a timely manner. Any dates given to us just became a joke. “Justin said so and so will be here tomorrow so ya know, someone might pop in maybe 2 weeks from now”. We also had a contractor come to our house asking for payment because J’s didn’t pay him apparently, so who knows what that’s about. We are waiting on such a small list of things at this point, that “scheduling” is not an excuse to me when no one has been over here in more than 2 months. Need our fence put back on, glass for fire pit, pool loungers, drain covers and finish setting up pool equipment. I understand COVID is a thing and timeline might be skewed, but we are way more frustrated with the nonexistent communication and the OWNER (Justin) just ignoring us when we’re practically begging for information on where we’re at. All in all, beautiful pool but this company is a nightmare to work with. Spend your hard earned money else where.ETA: The owner is claiming we declined to pay for the upgraded glass. He never asked us to pay for it, this was something he planned to do on his own as a favor or gift. We also never opted out of the free loungers that were part of the promotion he was running when we signed the contract, we were just unaware they were being taken away until after we were giving him a hard time. This was due to other fees he did not charge us for as an exchange that was not communicated. However, we did pay for lava rocks, which we never received.

When we bought a town home in the Houston Heights, we knew we wanted a pool but didn’t have a lot of space. After visiting with several different pool builders we decided to go with J’s Pools and Spas. From first impression, Justin was more organized than the other pool builders. He arrived to our house on time, he was easily identifiable because he was wearing a company logo tee shirt and truck. At the first appointment, Justin gave us a folder full of brochures and samples of everything from lights to different types of textures we could put on the bottom of the pool. Soon after our first appointment Justin emailed 3D renderings of the design ideas we had talked about. Even though the renderings were very close to what we had originally discussed, we decided to make some changes-Justin was very flexible to get the renderings exactly how we wanted them before he gave us an estimate. With all of the top of the line options, his first estimate it was significantly higher than we expected. After discussing this with Justin, he helped us make some changes so it was more affordable and we didn’t have to sacrifice the quality or design of the pool. Once we found the perfect option for us, he gave us a timeline, obtained the proper city permits, and payment schedule. Once we got started things moved very quickly but because of the time of year we chose to build-we did run into some weather delays that prolonged the original timeline. J’s Pools & Spa’s team worked around the weather and got the job finished as quickly as possible. Justin was very effective in communicating through the progress of building our pool and personally addressed any issues that arrived. After seeing how well the pool was coming along, we became confident in the quality of work that J’s Pools & Spas was providing us. We also had his team add a composite deck to the rest of our yard. Justin was very detail oriented and I believe he treated building our pool like it was going in his own home. I would absolutely recommend using J’s Pools & Spas if you are considering putting a pool in.

After working with Js Pool and Spa to try to figure out Hayward heater issues, had to make big decision to replace heater. Justin was very easy to deal with and have me an honest deal, taking into account the cost I had in trying to repair old heater.Josh came to do install within a day and was finished removing old heater and installing new one within a few hours.Very pleased with Js and will continue to call them for any work I need done.

I spent too much time with several Leslies Pool Supply stores trying to get someone to come out and run a quick and easy diagnostic on our hot tub and pool to no avail. Not only did he address my primary issue, but he also took account of other small problems to be addressed if I wished to do so. Its hard to find pool service/repair companies that are good, competent, have quick response times, and, most importantly, that are HONEST. This company is all of those and more. They also have great customer service and modern billing options such as ability to receive and pay your invoice via email / web. I was having issues with my pool and had to be out of town for a week. I thought I had an underground pipe leak and didnt want to ruin my pump or pool so I called and Justin had me on the schedule the next day. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix the issue for cost of the diagnosis fee (impeller on pump was blocked) even though I had told him I was pretty sure it was a burst pipe.

Very trustworthy, always on time, and stress free! Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants/needs a beautiful pool and spa. Thanks for everything!

I have to give them 5 stars. First night of Hurricane Harvey, at about midnight, I saw the water level in my inground pool rising. I was not aware of how to operate the complex pump system associated with my pool. I was very nervous that the pool was going to overflow and begin to flood my house. My wife did a google search for a 24 hour pool service company, and she found Js. I called and was able to get ahold of them. I explained my situation and let them know what I needed. They told me that they had a $250 emergency response fee, but they rather walk me through it for free, if I was ok with that. They had me send them a picture of my system, and told me exactly what to do. I cannot express my gratitude, not only for thier rapid response and help, but also for their eagerness to assist me and not be concerned over the monetary gain. Rare find now a days. 5 stars!
