I take my job as a counselor seriously and when dealing with CPS cases, it is hard enough. I have NEVER written a review, but when I called today to get information I was mocked by Deborah, laughing at me, and being extremely disrespectful. I have NEVER been treated this way!

I actually worked for a shelter in CPS.... poor children, they deserve better

I have been trying to call since Friday and no one answers and the message says call back during business which is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM which are the hours that I call and the website says open.

They do not care about you or your kids they can sleep well at night if you never see your kids again they say they are there to help and make better families but I HONESTLY feel its the opposite!!! They are there to get a check and their mostly black so that just makes everything worst they feel like no one can stop them and if you get on there bad side then they WILL do shady stuff just to hurt you!! Watch out!!!

My kids father has fasly accused me of mistreating my babies, the lady called me to get my side of the story and the lady was unprofessional she told me information that literally made no sense..shes still havent called me back no notify me anything she said my bd refusing to proceed with the process and stopped answering his phone 🤨 how does that work when hes the one who falsy accused me of stuff and she even spoke with my kids and hes refusing to give them back to me .😐😑 I need better understanding on my case thing is he doesnt live in Houston anymore either

What an absolute joke of an organization. There is a homeless couple (violent and aggressive if people dont give them money) in the Heights with two small children. People have been calling CPS and reporting them, but their answer is that the couple has the right to be homeless if they want and that everyone can make their own life choices. So, what about the children? Do they have any choices? We were all told that unless we witness the parents getting high, see abuse or see the kids panhandling (we have seen the kids panhandling, but falls on deaf ears), there is nothing they can do. When asked about the kids nutritional or hygiene needs, again, life choices. Life choices of the lowlife, junkie parents, NOT THE CHILDREN!!The parents went so far as to accuse a neighbor of robbing them because she refused to give them money anymore. She even tried to locate relatives for the kids. Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldnt that be CPSs job?If you serve children, why are you not even looking into this?How do you people sleep at night hiding behind all of your red tape fantasies?

Absolutely horrible. Youre better off pressing charges against someone and removing a child through something legal like incarceration. WHEN A REPORT IS FILED, IT SHOULD STAY CONFIDENTIAL! DO NOT REPORT TO THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL SAY EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON A REPORT EXCLUDING ONLY YOUR NAME! Whoever you sent out just ruined any possible chance of this person ever getting caught until the child is in the hospital AGAIN! If that child is hurt again, this is on YOUR hands!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! We have had a child placed in our care for over FOUR months and just had a visit maybe THREE WEEKS ago! We were told we would receive assistance with daycare and havent. We dont even know WHO the actual case worker is! All we know is the so called supervisor does not return any phone calls or texts. Being that this is an infant who was placed in our care you would think this organization would constantly check on the babys welfare...nope..they just dropped him off and kept moving! I swear they must let any dumb individual become a case worker!

In cps i got kicked out the house. now out the navy i am treated bad. mental abuse. social abuse. and physical. S>A B>I. protected but attacked carlos coy. now this issue my issue. circle of violence mental health. i have a node on my neck. medical health. now. mental abuse. the crown. but real bad. not sure how to talk about family. but not working i am under A type of fire. and has a man. its treaed like a child. legal gardian. abuse. is beat to the point of fiduciary or sanctification. the who. but again. i was in the navy. the horse. type of abuse. black. health. its a challange at present to get my forward movement when. mental degraded too accept sexual harassment to become something else. but hurt any way family violence. i am a man. but attacked by the wisdom sister. but social law. not sure what too say. abuse breaks a person mind. but attacked mental health center mass. that can take a life behavior. problem ecg to act out. but again touched in way i truly dislike to get mad to fight them. and again. its foul so i am telling someone. from navy till present. staging but set me up to fall. legal ward.

Hands down the worst place and they only hire you if you are completely retarted. They check no information. And worse than anything they return with no accusations. This place is a joke and so are the employees.

My child has been remove out of my house for a while now. I did my final drug test (although there was no drug abuse) and also my anger management class. (Everything they asked for.) I kept on asking my case worker and he said everything is on his managers hands which gave me a number of and as a result this person was assigned in another area (wasnt his manager) shame on heartless people that are based on money and not on the best interest of the child.

I thank and praise the Lord for your compassion for the children during their difficult time and for your commitment to family reunification, investing in the family, building and equipping the family, and supporting them through the transitions!!

Ive been calling and and calling but to no avail. My question for the owner is how in the hell can you run a business and nobody can get through to receive any services nor does anyone have a successful story to tell from what youve done to help them. Please refer me to some white people that will actually take the time to put in action like they do with anything else.

Sounds like there needs to be accountability with the employees. In other states the employees are personally held responsible for their laziness and lack of professionalism. In fact, they go to prison for not doing their job. Hopefully Harris County wakes up and sees what is going on before more children suffer, and hopefully before children get killed. This department has lazy employees who do not care, and do not do their job.

Horrible! A teacher within KISD abused her own sons and CPS closed the case without doing a thorough investigation. We have pictures and videos and none of it matters.

CPS wont help you, they came and left. Is now a statement said by an abusive family, after the lack of thoroughness of your so called service.

Tried calling my appointed case worker who has never showed up yet,and all I get is her mailbox if full, please hang up.Martha Kenebrew is her name..just saying...........

Its like visiting kids in prison.
