Have been trying to cancel my account. The people who answer the phone hang up on me or transfer me to to upgrade my internet!!!! I just want to cancel!!!! This is ridiculous

Prior to this issue. That has YET to be fixed I loved this company especially for watching Netflix which was my sole reason for using them. There was an issue with my card so the payment did not go thought once I found out this had happened I paid the bill within the same day just later on in the day. My services were cut off and still have not been turned on. I’m so disappointed to be leaving this review. Customer service has bounced me from person to person. I even had a technician come out and he said that it should be working that all the lights were on. I think he was the most helpful out of all of them and obviously it’s not an issue that the technician had any control over. He did what he was supposed to do and I believe the issue I am having is completely out of his hands.

If i could give negative stars I would. They no called no showed for 2 appointments to activate our internet. Then told us we would have to wait another 7 days.Whats worse is when we originally called it was high pressure salesman trying to get us to use their 3rd party service for our direct tv...tried saying they would give us a 150 gift card but we had to take the deal now. I called Direct TV and they said they DO provide TV just not internet...and at a MUCH cheaper rate.I called and spoke with Angelica (not sure that was her real name) and she refused to patch me through to a supervisor and only gave her name after asking her multiple times.If you can avoid this company do so at ALL costs. I would, but unfortunately its the only service offered in my area.***update. 3rd no call no show. If you fell like being held hostage, by all means use this company.

I have a DSL service that is supposed to be 10 GBPS and I upgraded to 15 GBPS though the speed of service did not change. I call in to discuss and see what options are available and the automated phone answering clown makes it nearly impossible to get to talk to a person. Then, they ask for the best call back number and, a few minutes later, while still working with them the call drops or they hang up. Then they dont call back. The automated system makes me listen to several lengthy instructions which do not apply to the current situation. They waste more of my time than I can state and never seem to care about solving my issue. The worst customer service imaginable.

Have had some issues with them over the last 5 years, but recently had very slow speeds for some reason. They were out the very next day and resolved it. I didnt even have to be home. Very pleased!

I wish there was another provider that I could go with. Our wifi I always going out and when I call to get the issue resolved I’m always getting transferred to different departments because no one can help. Then a gift card that I was suppose to received with the promotion I never got. When I called to see what was going on they said it was delivered already and that it was used. When I told them I haven’t received it they argued me down and said I did.

By far the worst experience ever. I was mislead from the beginning. When I signed up with Centurylink for my business I was I under the impression that my service would be $69.99 to include internet, phone and a bronze package website (that they would host). I signed up over the phone and asked for the rep to send me over the contract in writing for my own records. The contract was never sent over and after speaking with a customer service rep they were unable to find the recording of the deal as I signed nothing it was all a verbal contract. Late November is when I signed up and my service wasn’t up and running until Late December. As I debated if I should go with Comcast or Centurylink the customer service rep said that she would give me a $200 Amazon gift card to be sent within 4-6 weeks. Here it is April and I received a post card denying my gift card this past Saturday because I didn’t meet qualifications. What are the qualifications? I was led to believe the gift card would come if I signed up for service. I disputed the bill a month ago and the customer service rep I spoke with agreed and offered me a credit and said he would have his supervisor and the company that hosts their website reach out to me being that he concurred that the bill was incorrect. I never received a call nor an email that he said he would send over with the supervisors contact. All I have received was bills from Centurylink and I am very disappointed with their overall customer service. I didn’t believe this company was this deceitful but now I see that they indeed are.

Service has not worked for 5 days. Called customer service 4 times. The last time they told us the service is down and and its permanent. What does that even mean??? We just continue to pay $150 a month for nothing?? I dont understand.

The customer service reps are very nice. However, they suck at reconnecting your service. I have now been on the phone waiting for over 50 min. This is absurd !

Century-links service is just getting worse. I haven’t had Internet connection for almost 24 hours now. Outage on a weekend? Really? Also, they never inform you before hand that there would be a connection outage. This happens very often and I am really tired of this. Very poor service!

Humble/ Atascocita area. Customer for three years started with a two-year contract of Internet 25 MB. $50 a month. Within the two-year time the price gradually picked up overtime. Currently I am now paying over $100 a month when I finally called to dispute I was told that there is a thing called price for life for $50 a month, which I had no idea about. But in order for me to get it I would have to lose megabytes and that it would be 20 MB. I run a laptop for business. 2 Apple cell phones, 2 Apple iPads, 3 smart TVs, an Xbox, 2 Alexa radios, and Nintendo switch. That’s 12 devices off the top of my head running daily at all times. This is Not including family members who stay with me often for 2 to 3 months at a time that bring in 3 to 4 devices of their own and run it on my Wi-Fi. So NOO I cannot afford to go DOWN ON SPEED. I never had an issue with the speed and connection in my area while running so many devices this is why I never argued the price even though it was raising up. Sometimes we would have randomly days where the Internet would be slow the iPads or Tvs wouldn’t be able to upload or run really slow But this would pass and go back to normal after a day. We were getting ROBBED with the prices for 3 YEARS LOYAL CUSTOMERS. ON TIME PAYMENTS. I don’t know who has time to go searching for new companies the best deals out there and switch Wifi companies, because I do not in my life. And I told the lady from CenturyLink that this is a major issue and I will probably have to switch companies. It’s funny how five days later a salesman from Comcast/Xfinity came to the door with wonderful offers. I am going to be getting services with them on September 13 $120 a month for 400 MB of speed through fiber optic and this includes cable TV for three of my televisions !!! Since I got used to paying over $100 for Wi-Fi 15 or 20 bucks more gets me Internet and speed Waymore than what I currently had, now that I can take a risk four and a chance! Before you guys sign up with them see if Xfinity is in your area because they offer ridiculous speed that runs fiber optic! I cannot speak about the price for life but these guys are sneaky and tricky with raising your bill. They are thieves and being loyal for three years did not give me nothing with them. they don’t offer high amounts of speed like Comcast/ xfinity

Unbelievable horrible service. We have averaged losing service 1 time a month the last year and the last 4 months we have lost service to our business for more than 2 days the longest lasted 4 days! Hard to do business with no internet or phone service but they don’t seem to care. They claim they are expediting our situation but have other business customers ahead of us. REALLY? They have that many other business customers without service too? So Sad! Why do we put up with this you ask? Because it’s the only provider available....FOR NOW. Finally a large hospital is 2 months from being completed next to us. They have forced a good company to spend the money to bring quality service another 2/10ths of a mile from where their service previous ended. If that falls through, dial up would be better than what we have now(5mb)! I gave1 Star only because there isn’t a negative star rating. Moral of the story, if you don’t want to provide quality internet service to a business, Don’t Get In That Business.

Internet service is good. Supoort is terrible and they seem to always be understaffed. Cant get help when needed then when someone is available to help they dont care. I used them in the past and also have several clients that house their servers there. Can no longer recommend Level3 which was now bought out by another company. Maybe the change in management will help things. Well see.

Im paying over $90 a month and getting less than 2 Mbps. I am extremely disappointed in this this service. Tried calling to complain and couldnt seem to get hold of a live person. Not recommended.

Sent back a modem that they (claimed to have) never received when I received a new one in April 2018. I was being charged monthly rent for a modem for over 18 months that I didnt have. I then had to pay $150 for that modem at the termination of service. So they made $290 off of me for a modem that I didnt have and they couldnt waive any charges as billing wouldnt allow it. I should have paid more attention to my billing, but my online account password never registered and I even had two different account numbers for some reason in my emails with them. The service was never as fast as promised and intermittently went out. What a ripoffAlso, you can lease the modem for an infinite period of time, and you will never actually own it, as customer service informed me....how does that make any damn sense?AWFUL company

I recieved a scam text from a number this company owns. I tried to contact them to complain and I received a non-working number. I have reported the incident to Federal Trade Commission. The scam took the form of the following text:Your entry in last months drawing won you a FREE $1,000 Target Gift Card! Enter 832 at [fraudulent webstie ommited] to tell us where to ship it.

Goes out every time there is a storm or heavy rain. Slow as molasses to get it up and running. Wish I had another option--I would switch in a heartbeat. Such poor and inconsistent service I have no chance of a work from home job which is what I really need.
