Wow! I was extremely impressed with the whole experience at SWEAT! When I first walked in the facility was extremely clean and smelled amazing. We were greeted and asked to sign up for an account on the iPad. Once we checked in we got a tour before our class started. Each class has a little bit of everything. Weights, body weights, stretching, interval training, sprints, cardio. Definitely like this experience sweat offers!
Beautiful studio - clean & modern. They have coded lockers (free, own code) and showers. The workouts go by so fast because you alternate between floor workouts and the treadmills. I love on weekends we when finish with sled mode!! Comparable to HIIT classes like Barry’s!
Sweat is hands down the best workout class I have ever attended. Every detail from the instructors, equipment, facility and staff exceeds expectations. This is the first workout I can honestly say I look forward to going to because of how great I feel after. It is a challenge every single time and it never gets boring. Worth every dang penny
Love my little happy place. Great instructors and amazing HIIT workout routines. I definitely feel stronger after going for a whole year. I go about 2 - 3 times a week and yes, I see a huge difference. Made a few friends here so it’s nice to have a community of people that share similar passions. Feli is the most amazing manager. Completely understanding if something comes up and always so cheerful to see you. She definitely is personable and will remember your name after the first few visits. Must try Vanessa’s, Spencer’s and Brittany’s class….it flies by!
This was my first time at Sweat 1000 and I absolutely loved it! The customer service was amazing! They even made me a complementary shake, that was very good! The class was well constructed and had such a great atmosphere. Totally recommend!!!
I love sweat the atmosphere is amazing. Vanessa always kills is and kills you in the best way. “ Easy” 400 calories in 69 seconds for me is clean and have everything you need from a studio
A very clean, beautiful, and spacious settings for a gym. The Ladies restroom is amazing - two of the three stalls are big enough to be changing rooms. There are two shower stalls too. Hair dryers. Towels. This is not a gym that you can just pop in. You go here for classes. Classes give you motivation? If that is the case, I guess the fees are not bad.
This place is great! It is a very efficient workout, in 50 min they will take out of you a few hundred calories. Each instructor runs the class differently, all are very fun!The workout goes like 5-6 min on the threadmill, 5-6 doing floor exercises. The hard part is the first half I guess, once you pass that mark it is almost over. You will question yourself: why am I doing this? Then you will comeback to do it again, and again, and again 🤷🏼♂️
I love everything about coming to sweat. The workouts are great and different everyday. I hate running and these classes have improved my endurance tremendously. The staff is so great. The owners go out of their way to get to know you and the teachers are so personable. It is expensive but I think your health is worth it for a studio this great. They do have great specials at some points of the year.
The Sweat 1000 team might be the best thing Ive ever come across in my life for my health and fitness. The programs work amazing and the staff is elite. They create a space for safely working out in a tough and challenging time. Im forever grateful for Jordan and Ana and their entire team for being there for me.
I have tried a ton of fitness studios in Houston and always find myself coming back to Sweat. Ive never been a runner, but I actually enjoy it since starting here. Nothing beats the energy in the class, the workout playlists, and motivating instructors! Anytime I want to REALLY get in shape, Sweat workouts are the quickest solution. The studio is beautiful and theres always plenty of parking. I love Sweat1000!
The coaches and staff are very friendly and accommodating to what you are looking to improve. Jordan has been working with me on my boxing and conditioning and the improvements have been night and day. I highly recommend stopping by and joining a class or private training.
Sweat 1000 is an incredible studio in Houston. The coaches and the staff go above and beyond from start to finish to make the experience unparalleled. The classes are always fun, high intensity and change constantly. I look forward to every class, especially to the sprints and the refreshing cold towel at the end!-Meagan Box
This is one the best workouts anywhere. Total body/core. Various intensities. And the staff could not be better, Felly!!
Not going to lie - starting my day at 6:30 am like this is for real!! But I will say the minute you walk in...the team has got you ( all you have to do is workout:) Place is very clean, the smoothies tasty and the music...just dope beats! Of course the workout gets some very real results and the trainers are just first class. Glad yall are here!!!
I have been coming here for a year now and the staff has always been professional and consistent! My body has changed in a positive way, so much since coming here. Hands down, one of the best gyms in Houston.
I started going here on a recommendation from a friend. Being a studio class workout kind of gal, I’m always interested in new-to-me places. S1K did not disappoint. I’ve tried 5 different instructors and while each class follows a similar structure, they all have unique ways to challenge you every time you go. And even with the pandemic, I don’t feel unsafe being indoors. They do a fabulous job of keeping things clean.
Not sure what took me so long to discover Sweat! Blake Wise Full Body Strength session was one to remember. Highly recommended for those looking for a solid workout in Houston.
Get ready to sweat and burn like 1000 calories. It’s fun, the music is alway on point and the instructors have been great. Sometimes it’s a little hard to hear them over the music blaring but you pick up what they’re putting down pretty quickly. The facility is ultra clean and the products they provide in the restrooms/showers/changing areas are fantastic. I love the combination of running but also getting some strength and HIIT in. The parking is for the most part pretty good, and they have a parking lot attendant to make sure that Sweat 1000 members can get a spot and get to their class. (They might not anymore, as last time I went was pre-Covid.) I will be returning to their classes soon and I’m sure not much has changed, but when I have gone, it’s been a sweatastic experience.
I love SWEAT. Its challenging and fun.
Great workout with phenomenal instructors who can scale to any level and push you to your personal best. Staff was incredibly considerate and studio was very adherent to current COVID protocols.
Incredible workout. The energetic instructors and friendly staff make is so fun you almost forget you are burning calories.
This is truly the best workout in Houston! Amazing instructors and high quality equipment. Extremely clean. The format of the classes let you push yourself to your personal limit and are extremely effective. Absolutely recommend Sweat 1000!
I love this class but I am very disappointed in the lack of social distancing offered in some classes. We are still in the middle of a pandemic. You shouldn’t be offering classes with shared equipment/treadmills not socially distanced. I took one class before they started started advertising the lack of covid friendly environment but now on ClassPass it is plainly says that this class has “shared equipment” and is not adhering to social distancing rules. I don’t think this environment should be offered. I have been visiting several business throughout the covid environment and I felt the most uncomfortable during this class out of anywhere else I have been. My class had open treadmills on the far left and right and everyone was clustered together in the middle.. why?
BEST workout place in Houston! Amazing team! 💓 Amazing energy.
Love the vibe.Take Lauras class!!
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! I was super concerned about my injuries and they were so kind and understanding. She explained to me I could work at my own pace, which I did. I feel amazing, I am now going to come weekly! I definitely need to working on so many different things! If your looking to challenge yourself, this place is perfect! 💕💕Tip: They have hair ties, towels, blow dryers, showers, shampoo, conditioner, great for if have to go somewhere after or back to work! It’s all around amazing! Just go!
I absolutely love this studio for MANY reasons:1. The staff that works here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, & helpful (both front of studio & instructors)2. This HIIT work out is the most challenging I’ve found in Houston — you choose how much or little you want to challenge yourself3. The instructors are v. motivating & push you to do your best4. I hate running, but due to the 6 minute interval changes, I love this workout and don’t dread coming.Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I like the format and trainer tips!!!
I had my first workout at Sweat1000 today. The place is awesome!!!! Incredible instruction, the workout was intense but fun, the place was spotless and the workout was efficient at 45 minutes. I will most definitely be back. Also the music is fantastic. These guys did a miracle and made running on a treadmill fun.
Wonderful first time experience! Brittany was a great instructor. Very challenging but doable! The people at the front desk were so nice and accommodating, great facility.
Great concept and gym. The classes are very dynamic and full of energy. The studio is clean, offers plenty of parking and the amenities are also great (smoothie shop, lockers, towel service, shower, apparel boutique). Definitely a good option if you want to get in shape!
An amazing, challenging workout every time. Encouraging and motivating instructors. Impeccable clean. Great amenities. Incredibly welcoming to first timers. Classes are modifiable and appropriate for everyone.
Today marked my 100th class at Sweat1000 so I now feel like I can accurately write this review.First and foremost, I love this place and the people here. They acknowledge you and genuinely seem happy to welcome you. I am probably the least fit person at Sweat1000 and I still keep showing up because I have always felt encouraged and pushed. The point is, you can be a beginner and still be pushed here!Secondly, this is a fantastic workout. It’s a full body HIIT workout that is split between treadmill and strength training; they now have a bike option too! I have left every single class feeling a little bit stronger and bettering my form as a result. It also helps to be surrounded by people that are incredibly strong and crushing their workouts too.I also want to make note of the significant measures that were taken here after opening post quarantine. Classes are capped so that there’s always space between you and your peers and sanitizing before and after every class. I am sure that is not the easiest thing for them to do as a business but it is so appreciated. Finally, this team of people is so incredible. They are diverse, intelligent and every single person holds a quality that I aspire to have. Fely, Vanessa and Ana have ALWAYS made me feel welcome; they notice when you show up and when you don’t and that’s the kind of accountability I need in my life. I love Jordan’s classes too and the fact that as the owner he interacts / acknowledges you when you walk thru that door by first name. I have had the fortune of taking classes with almost every instructor and they are all amazing. I highly recommend everyone try out this class! It is what you make of it and if you make the most of it, it is worth every single penny.
Im addicted! Ive been going consecutively for about 1.5 months now (9 classes in at this point, once a week) and I can see a difference in my body and fitness. Im still chubby haha but Im not flabby haha. My very first class was Dec 1st with Jordan and the day after that class, my whole body hurt. I definitely worked muscles I never worked before or desired to work before. I always feel super accomplished after completing a class here.Things I really like about this studio:- Each class is different so youre not bored with the workouts- Instructors are upbeat- Studio itself doesnt feel elitist- The intensity of the workouts- You create your experience during your workout - go hard or go medium, but the choice is yours
This is a fun gym. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
New fitness lifestyle that will be coming to the US starting 2018, out of South Africa. The classes combine boxing, sprinting weightlifting, and occasionally yoga all in one workout routine, for a high intensity hour long workout that works out every muscle. The owner takes time to answer every persons questions, and is gracious to everyone who comes in. I have only had classes with one trainer, and that trainer also took time to talk through the workout process and listen to any concerns regarding injuries or fitness levels. They made the experience of visiting SWEAT 1000 feel very personalized for each persons fitness level and abilities. Definitely a new kind of workout and gym experience that people should check out once they open !
Amazing workout. You leave feeling great. Clean amenities, friendly staff. Highly recommend
Fun workouts, especially Latin night. Give it a shot
I really love this fitness studio. To give some context, Ive tried many fitness offerings in the area, including HIIT places like SWEAT1000 (orange theory, Barrys Bootcamp, Revolution), regular gyms (24, LA, Equinox, the Preserve), yoga studios (YogaWorks, BSY), and spin studios (RYDE).Amenities: Outstanding, comparing very favorably against the likes of Equinox and Barrys Bootcamp. The changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers are very clean and spacious.Equipment: Excellent. Compared to Barrys Bootcamp and orange theory, theres more floor space per person, and all the weights (+medicine ball, resistance band) are laid out in front of you. You dont have to waste time grabbing weights from the wall like other HIIT studios. Also, the treadmills & weights use the metric system (a win for science).Instructors/Staff: Friendly, fit, and helpful. Jordan (an instructor and Houston franchise owner with his wife) spent 30-60 minutes my first time and talked to me 1-on-1 about my personal fitness goals and strategies I could use in the gym.Community: This is hard to say since the studio is new to me, but the clientele generally seem cool. I believe the studio hosts socials every month or so.Overall, its a great fitness studio. Its a little far for me from the Museum District, but I plan to come here every month or so.
So good and great value. Amazing space and the instructors are A+ - I would highly recommend!
The staff helped to make our experience a wonderfully memorable one. You leave feeling on top of the world!!
Absolutely horrible training session, I’ll never go again. Jordan was disrespectful and rude also.
Best workout ever!
Love the atmosphere and the work out plan
