I came in with a GYM PASS! & the guy who he knows who he is made me pay $25 for a pass because he said he couldn’t tour me the gym with out someone supervising the front desk which I totally understand. He stated that the manger was busy, which is funny because there was 3 other people working too. But how you going to get customers if they come in with a free pass to tour the gym that their interested in but instead made them pay because you didn’t want to even ask for the manager for help or even try. Never again, really poor customer service.

Probably one of the 24 hours w the best and updated equipment! it’s never messy and the swim center is one of my favorites out of all.. only reason i didn’t give it five stars would be the staff. not all, but some of them aren’t the friendliest and welcoming and i’m just a sucker for good customer service. other than that, highly recommend this location :)

Im glad I got my workout today. There is certain times that you could enter when they are finished cleaning. So check the schedule when you can come in to work out for about an hour. They usually take only 15 minutes to clean up instead of a 30-minute allotted of time to them. Most of the amenities are all closed since Covid-19. No filter water no water fountains no showers no pools no basketball courts no sauna no steam room. Just gym equipment. If you still have membership go if you dont get your money back.

The main reasons I pay for a gym membership here are to use the lane pool and attend yoga classes. However, they now use the pool for a kids camp in the evenings. And they moved the yoga classes to weekday mornings. Since I work full time, I can’t really use this location and I have to drive pretty far to the westheimer one. Considering canceling because I signed up for convenient workout times in my neighbor hood and they’re available elsewhere.

This place is clean, they have a pool, lockers, showers, multiple squat racks,a really nice cycling room (always available), plenty of machines and a room for classes and free weights (also always available) They have an app to check in that’s really cool, and they also have a stretching area. I haven’t been able to use the sauna but they also have that (unavailable for covid reasons) Overall, very happy with this gym.

I like how they’re spacing out gym equipment so that you could workout with proper distance required. However, I notice that they don’t really enforce cleaning equipment after you’re done with your workout. Pretty gross when you have to clean equipment after someone you don’t know.Other than that they have a pool, a closed basketball court, and a stationary biking area.General gym equipment. Nothing too fancy.40/month I believe.

Visited the club and it was very nice. The staff was great!! I have been a long time member of 24hour and the experience has been great. I appreciate the care for their employees to close early on Christmas Eve, they have lives as well. Lets have some consideration for others and not ourselves all the time. Good job 24 hour for taking care of your employees as well!!!...

Today I went to this gym. Really nice and the ‘new’ is a real plus. I have an All Clubs membership since 1995. I have been to most in the Houston area. This is the best since it is new. I am usually at the Dunstan location at 4 am. All gyms are similar and unique in their own way. This new one is a winner!

The 3 stars is mostly because its a new gym... love the machines and the equipment. Its close to my job and its 24 hrs from what I heard.. needless to say alot of the comments and reviews about rude employees is very true. I hate to say it but they seem to not care how they come off or try to improve or correct their attitude... no staff really greets you theyre in their own world. There is this one personal trainer with glasses she seems very friendly and sweet. I can understand if you come to work with stress or issues going on outside of work but at least try to be professional say hello say something... really in the wrong business with that way of thinking. No eye contact nothing. I couldve walked in and not signed in and I swear they wouldnt have caught it. Its all good tho just wanted to confirm that the reviews on here are accurate. And the gym is small but its nice. Well see how long they can keep it looking nice

I went today for the first time. The Gym is huge and super nice. There were lots of people doing cardio and a lot doing weights too. Add in the Sauna and Steam Room and it’s awesome!Came back and changed my review--the person up front said my 3 day free trial started when I signed up even though the website clearly said it starts the first time you attend.

This is the new gym in the Heights! I love that they are adding one that has surface parking and not a crazy busy parking garage, however, I feel for the area this is too small. It is a large one level location with everything youd expect from cardio, group x room, spin room, pool, and basketball court, but it seems very tight. I wish it was just better spaced out.

Review №27

They should have made the weight area and machine area larger. They dont turn on ac in that area so it gets really hot and muggy. No ceiling fans in the workout area. Just a few fans in the treadmill area on low speed. There is no shrug machine. There is only one leg extension machine. Its always in use, mostly people sit on it and look at their phone for an hour. Like most new clubs today it tours well, to get members, but its not user friendly. I think that is the formula for gyms today, sign up new members, dont accommodate members to keep them. Gym staff is like most gym staff, not friendly and pay no attention to members. Thats normal in most 24 hour clubs.

TLDR: Receptionists provide poor service, guest passes are not valid until 8am!The gym is new and seems nice. I spoke with a very helpful manager (Jonas?) who was transparent about rates, and annual fees. I opted for the 3 day guest pass while I weigh my options. To my disappointment, I was turned away from a apathetic front desk agent at 5AM being told that guest passes are not valid until 8am (Really, how is it that a guest pass to a 24 Hour Fitness location is not valid until 8am?). This is not stated anywhere on the pass that was sent to me. There is a common theme among receptionists at gyms, 24 fitness really needs to invest in some customer service training and realize that these type of attitudes will cost the company members. 24 fitness, you can do better.

Really underwhelming for a brand new 24 hour “super” sport. Nothing special about it at all It was way too crowded, too small for the area it services, parking is too tight, there are not enough hand sanitizer dispensers. They should’ve made this a mil multi-level gym. I feel like 24 Hour Fitness is focusing on quantity rather than quality these days. If you check their upcoming locations you’ll notice they’re only building super sports now. Sounds money hungry to me.

Gym is very nice but I’m very unsatisfied with the customer service we received this morning. My boyfriend is a member and I tried to come workout with him this morning as a guest, but I was turned away. The buddy pass was not explained to us when he signed up and we were not aware that because I was with him when he signed up, my guest pass had already been used EVEN though we didn’t work out that day. Considering we were both already at the gym at 8 AM on a Saturday, they could have been more flexible. My decision to change gyms was made, thanks 24 Hour!

This is very sad. This gym and location have a lot of potential, however the staff are holding it back. The staff at the check in desk are extremely rude and more like bouncers turning people away and trying to keep people out, rather than trying to encourage people to come in .Jayy, an employee at the check in desk, was extremely rude to me (on several occasions) as well as a friend of mine. When I brought the behavior to the managers attention (Hunter, the man with the thick beard referred to in previous reviews) he defended her behavior, rather than listening and trying to correct her behavior. It is very sad because the gym is in a prime location, however, multiple staff members, including managers, are rude to clients/customers.This is a brand new gym, with brand new equipment, at the beginning of the New Year (usually when most gyms are PACKED) however the gym remains relatively empty due to the rude staff. Again, very sad.

The gym was nice and of course had all new equipment. I am an LA fitness member so I did the free 3 day guest pass online prior to going. I presented it to the lady upfront and she assumed I was trying to get over on them. She asked for my ID. I have been to another 24 Hour in Pflugerville when out of town on business about 3 weeks prior. I told her that and she got an attitude as if she caught me. I was just trying to check out a new gym where I actually live. I paid the 25 bucks and worked out. She made a big deal over nothing. Not eveyrone is trying to scam the system. She lacked professionalism and the basic skills to deal with customers.

What an amazing new facility. Front desk staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. I was given a tour by Jayy and was impressed with her knowledge of the equipment. I found the Wexer screens to be a major attraction. The screens would literally walk you through a virtual class or to be able to select a class schedule and view it on the screen was also extremely helpful.

This location was trying to charge me $25 to work out here when I am already a 24-hour fitness sport member. I have never had to pay that much to go into a Super Sport gym. I am very disappointed with the Customer service level of this location. Their only two options were to pay the $25 or upgrade. I googled 24-hour fitnesses that were on the way to my destination and this location was not described as Super Sport, hence why I went there in the first place. I noticed that it was new and looked for Super Sport sign and there isnt one. This is deceptive. I have requested Google to correct the facilitys name to avoid confusion for all other members. This totally ruined the schedule of my day.

This place is scam. The work out details of membership, you even confirm more than one time with the head person there, Hunter, with witnesses to confirm and then you pay and Trent all of a sudden Hunter goes back in his word and claims amnesia. Ge and his staff think it’s all a joke and practically laugh in your face. Most times if you have to talk to management at this location there, management is normally not around, and there is NO ONE there to answer your questions... MEMBERS BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!!! I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for 20 years, yes YEARS. I too tried to transfer my membership from the mid-town gym to this one as I live in The Heights and was denied. Not only because it is closer to my home, but the mid-town gym has gone to s#*t; broken equipment, dirty, etc. When I joined 24 Hour, I joined at the top level with access to ALL clubs. This is how they treat clients.BTW, the guy with the thick beard that others mentioned is the assistant manager.

I got a 3 day pass to this gym, I was leaning towards switching from L.A fitness, mainly because of the more convenient hours, so i worked out there today for the first time.. and i was absolutely shocked!!!.. when a man with a very thick beard asked me leave and make my way towards the exit, almost 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close. ( they closed at 2pm . It was christmas eve). I take my workouts very seriously, and didnt finish my last 2 sets. I definitely would have been done and out of the gym before the closing time of 2pm.On top of that the staff was constantly making anouncements.. letting everyone know about the time remaining until closing. The amount of minutes left that was being announced was always about 5-10 minutes less, than the actual amount of time left till closing. This really became annoying and took away from the quality of the work out.Anybody looking at this gym.. id recommend you looking at L.A fitness.. they are $15-$20 cheaper per month.. and much better customer service.

I was looking at switching my membership from another gym to this 24 location, but some girl named Jayy at the front entrance refused to grant me a 3-day pass to try it out and instead said, in a condescending tone, that my girlfriend and I would have to pay $50 for a single day pass to consider switching. I’m honestly more in awe of their terrible sales strategies than their piss poor customer service. I’m literally trying to give you money...

Beyond Disappointing! I have been excited about this new gym for months and had full intentions of joining due to its convenient location. Tried it out in mid January on a week night. I was immediately concerned about the lack of parking spots and noted several large vehicles double parked. Upon entering the gym, I was surprised to find it mostly empty - no classes in session, less than 1/3 of the cardio and weight machines in use; I can only imagine how difficult parking would be during a crowded time. The sign in process is supposed to be electronic, & there are several kiosks at the entrance, but hardly anyone on hand to help new comers with first sign in or provide any customer service. This made for an extended & confusing check in process for several people. This gym is full of modern equipment and amenities, but I found it very poorly laid out, with a very small/ crowded turf area and cardio machines so crammed in that there are very few walkways. They also have a nice virtual/ on demand class option available to members, but they only have 1 giant class room space, so I wonder how often this option could possibly be available. But the biggest problem by far is the front desk staff. They seem to go out of their way to be in-flexible, negative and totally unwelcoming (both on the phone and in person). One woman in particular was so unhelpful and rude that I turned around and walked out on my 2nd visit. I was contacted by a manager the next day and she did seem to be concerned about the issues I encountered, but the only thing she offered was another 2 day pass that had to be used immediately (I already had exercise plans those 2 days & no other options were offered). Based on all this, I’ll keep going to other local gyms- at least they make a basic effort to make customers feel wanted.
