I enjoy the atmosphere, theres an outdoor workout section with tires, ropes and pull-up bars and indoor is an absolute vibe with the music alternating from the cable and cardio side to the weight lifting side of the building.

THE premier gym in the Houston area. Been coming here for 5 years and it’s only grown and gotten better with time. The owner is an amazing man that is friendly, uplifting and motivating. Great atmosphere, amazing gym members, productive staff, plenty of parking, a1 machines... I could go on and on.

Great place to go to actually work out. Most gyms in Houston are as crowded as bars and set up for a social environment, which is frustrating when 8 dudes are flexing in front of 2 squat racks playing grab ***. Be Fit has the camaraderie, the space, and the people to motivate you to work harder!! Love this gym.

I was only a guest but Be Fit is sweaty heaven! LoL! The staff was incredibly helpful and I honestly loved the hype playlist! The indoor outdoor layout of this gym is definitely unique and worth a peek! When my current membership ends where I currently go I plan on signing up with Be Fit!

I absolutely love this gym! I never used to enjoy exercising until I became a member here. Now it’s the best addiction! Difficult and fun all at once. A welcoming environment for all ages and fitness levels.

Be Fit Gym is a great gym in a convenient location. Ive never had to wait for a treadmill. The locker rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. Pricing is also reasonable compared to other options in the area. The gym has been taking COVID safety precautions (masks required, check-in/out procedures, temperature checks upon entry, etc.). Lisa, the Regional Director, was also very helpful.

Been looking for gyms all around the area ! This place looks incredibly clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Theres also parking all around and a Target right by it. Yessss! Cant wait to workout and try the place with a day pass .

I hadnt lifted weights in about 6 years, and I started looking for gyms close by.I live in the greater east end, and it seemed like every time I did a search it was 24 hour fitness, or one of a million cross fit gyms.One of the lone real gyms that popped up with Be Fit Gym. I read reviews, I looked at videos, I looked at pictures, and I decided to let the fact that they didnt have AC or heat not deter me.The aesthetic of the gym is gritty. Its a big warehouse with all the equipment you need. And they play loud music that would never be heard in a gym like LA fitness or 24 hour fitness.So, one day, I drove up, and even half expected it to be full of pissed off looking muscle heads who would eyeball anyone new that showed up.What I found was, a staff that was super friendly and no where near pretentious. The people working out were serious about lifting, but not jerky body builder types.It was summer and the gym had all the doors open and huge fans blowing, and there was a constant breeze.Rap music and techno, was playing from huge speakers, loud enough to replace your headphones, but not loud enough to intrude into any conversation.The clientele seemed upscale but down to earth at the same time.So, I and a friend who went with me, decided to join.Over the 5 months that Ive worked out there, I noticed a few surprising things.The owners actually remember your name. This place is their passion. One day Edgar, the owner walked on a treadmill next to me, and we just chatted for 30 minutes about the gym, where he came from, how excited he is about it, and some of his future plans.People smile, wave, and even have conversations with you, but at the same time, they dont intrude.With all the music, the warehouse feel, the graffiti on the wall, and the concrete floors, this gym makes you feel like youre not faking anything. You feel stronger, and more motivated and even elevated compared to people who go to the big box gyms.And with all of that, you develop this sense of simply wanting to be there. It becomes less about forcing yourself to get that work out in, and more about wanting to go to a place that lets you escape and lets you see people you like, and lets you work on yourself.There is a level of seriousness at this gym that serves to motivate without being competitive. Because in the end, really all there is to compete with is yourself, and this gym creates the perfect atmosphere for that.

This gym is incredible. I worked out here on a day pass while passing through Houston but they have an extensive amount of room and equipment. Most is in good shape. Clean. Nice staff. I wish this gym was in my town.

Just joined and its awesome they could change up the music but overall everyones cool they have variety! They should hire a gym equipment technician! Just sayin!

Loved working out here. I came at around 715am and was able to get a squat rack, bench, or deadlift platform every time. Great variety of equipment. Very cheap and no sketchy contracts or other normal gym BS. I actually like the lack of AC, and in the morning it isnt bad, atleast in July.Cons: bring your own towels! These arent provided and you will sweat. Also, the music can be a little too loud sometimes. I like most music but someone put on dub step and that was distracting.Would wholeheartedly recommend this gym to those looking to get in and out and live in or near Eado.

The best gym in Houston HANDS DOWN. They have a great community/family atmosphere that breathes positivity and zero judgement. The rates are fair and the staff will become your family. Recommend to everyone!

Great family owned gym. Extensive equipment section and friendly staff. No AC but it doesn’t bother me that much. Low membership fees and no hassles like major fitness chains have.Only issue - why I only gave them four stars - is unless you come early in the morning, the music is typically WAY TOO LOUD. Can’t hear my own jam and it’s bad sometimes to the point it’s hard to focus on my lifts. Please turn the music down ... this is a fitness facility not Warehouse Live down the street.

The owner/main dude Edgar parks his truck in the front spot everyday.He auto-charged my card for the month of April, despite being closed for the entire month due to COVID, and, after a long conversation, wouldnt refund it. I had to refute the charge through my bank.I expect loud music at a gym, but its a bit extreme here. It doesnt make a ton of sense when everybody has their own earbuds in, anyway.The facility itself is fine. Its a no-frills (in a good way) warehouse with different machines, but the majority of people wait in line for the few squat racks / one power cage they have. If you do anything other than machine lifts, youll probably have to wait.

Be Fit is a great gym if you need a new gym or if you just need a gym to work out for a couple of days. It has a great vibe and the people are very friendly. My favorite part is the boxing/kickboxing bags they have in the back. Great place to lift heavy weights and hit the bags!

I absolutely LOVE this gym! Its a no-frills experience that provides ALL the equipment you need to achieve a satisfying workout. Sure, some gyms offer you donuts and fancy televisions, but Be Fit Gym offers something MUCH better. A friendly staff, supportive gym mates & interactions that extend beyond the gym setting. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone check em out. Even if its just a trial membership, stop by because I guarantee youll want to become a full member.

Awesome gym with lots of equipment! The atmosphere of Be Fit is one of a kind. People of all body shapes and sizes are there sweating and working hard to improve themselves. I remember prior to Be Fit opening - the owner, Edgar, was telling me about his vision for the gym. He wanted Be Fit to be a place where people come in to work hard, slam the weight stacks/weights, yell if needed, and overall just be more energized. After a few years of seeing this place from the beginning to what it is today, I can say with certainty that Edgar has executed his vision for the place perfectly!

Awesome gym that has on site and street parking (though street parking can get busy on game days). Has all the machines you need and then some. The people that run this place are friendly and awesome. Keep in mind that it’s not climate controlled so be prepared to sweat (a lot) especially in the summer and bring a towel.

No frills. No complications. No air conditioning. No overcrowding. This is an affordable gym thats centrally located for people who just want to workout. Free weights, Olympic setups, machines, cardio equipment, outdoor space. A great gym all around. Theres no locker room, but they do have private showers that are clean and gender specific restrooms as well.

I was in town for work and needed a place to get in early, I arrived right at 5am and the staff met me with a smile and made it EXTREMELY easy for me to get started, in fact they allowed me to get started and handled the payment while I began my workout, they then brought me my card back when they were done. It was a great customer experience.The gym is fantastic, I wish we had one where I live. It had everything you could want and was a very comfortable environment. Next time I’m in Houston I’l be seeking this gym out.

This place is nothing more than amazing, I have been a member for about three years now. To begin owners and staff are friendly and welcoming you’ll feel like family just from your first visit. There’s great music always playing, the equipment is always ready to use depending on the day. What make Befit different from any other gym are the members that go there. No matter if it’s your first or millionth time going the members here will always motivate one another. If you’re in the need to get an insane work out and in the area or even visiting I wholeheartedly suggest you come to befit you won’t be disappointed.

Golds gym DTLA is good. There is so large, clean, good! There is good people, good muscleguy, good machine, good vibe ! But shower room is bad. Water pressure is so small. It is almost very nice :)I joined for three months.

Best gym I’ve ever been to by far. I was only in Houston for a few months and this place is easily what I’ll miss most. Edgar is a stand out guy and the atmosphere is super motivating.

I have been to this gym for half a year and been training with rubens since the start. He is a great trainer. Knowledgeable, passionate and easy going. Always do a clear before we start a new routine and the workout is sore and fun at yhe same time. Highly recommend

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GYM! It is the very very best gym in Houston. This is not a gym for being quiet and not pushing yourself. Everyone here is so nice and willing to help spot if you need it. Edgar is a fantastic owner and Jorden is great to talk to. This is a place to throw your weight around and grunt while your doing it. If you want a bad ass gym and great people- this is the gym for you!

Solid, no nonsense gym with some rusty equipment. Bars range from my hands are screaming because this knurl is so aggressive to bald but they have most anything youd need for a strength workout. Drop in cost me $10. Staff was friendly, patrons seemed to be a pretty typical gym community.

I love this gym. Ive been a member since it opened. I love it because its a warehouse gym, so you get a nice workout and sweat. The staff and members are freindly and make it more enjoyable.

Great location for people in the city. Amazing gym etiquette all around. Dumbbells ALWAYS re-racked, same with the plates, and people always willing to let you work in.

Be-fit has a good selection of weights throughout the gym.The lady who everyone refers to as boss lady can be discourteous.I have been going to this gym for half a year now but have been asked repeatedly to verify myself after checking in.Completely unprofessional.

Great place for a workout warehouse style. I love the heat. Most everyone here is more interested in training instead of selfies like the chain centers (we wont call those places gyms unless they actually earn that title.) Everyine leaves me the F alone which is perfect. The only downfall is the music unless you love whiny Drake but thats what headphones are for.

Cant imagine a more positive environment in which to work in! I love this place its a big space with that grungy garage style feel, with no AC which is no joke a PLUS! Hate this place

Joined this gym about a month ago when I moved to downtown and its awesome! It has every machine you need and dumbbells up to 150lbs. The owner, Edgar, makes it a point to come say hey to everyone who walks in the door which gives it a mom-and-pops feel with the equipment of a big box gym. Theres enough weights and machines that you dont have to wait for anything and the people are all kinds of friendly. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants a local gym and wants to be treated like a valued customer, not just another face at a 24 Hour Fitness

I love this GYM its in walking distance. Great environment, love the vibe and the music keeps me motivated. Its annoying when delusional individual try to ruin a good thing for everybody because they dont get there way. Stop wasting your time BE FIT is here to stay, so come join the FUN.

This place is home for me. I hate travelling because I have to use some manufactured gym with no personality. This place you come to get your hands dirty and get work done(literally). I get in and out because it is an environment that encourages you to work your tail off. If you are going to a gym to not sweat, or to lounge in a bathroom and take selfies, this is not for you. But if you want a group of people that motivate you, along with all the training equipment you can think of, go here. Id go here to train like a Rocky movie. Feel the elements.

BY FAR the best gym in the Houston area! Be Fit is not only a warehouse with a bunch of machines and free wheights, staff and members make it feel like a community. We are all there because we share the same goal. Your level of athleticism doesnt matter here, Be Fit inspires a push as hard as you can and then some more attitude from the moment you walk through the door.

I like the versatility in this gym that you get to choose from in the equipment. Its not your typical gym. A rower, a sled tractor tires and battle ropes. The staff is friendly.

A great gym for any goal and any body type. Every one keeps to themselves unless you need a spotter or motivation - its a very positive team atmosphere. Lots of equipment variety not just basic weights and cardio machines. There is no AC but tons of fans to help you sweat and work! The price is super reasonable for everything you get and they even offer classes and personal training. Usually during the week they play fantastic music so I dont even need headphones. They are open till 9pm so you have plenty of time to go after work. Being close to EaDo is nice if you want to walk to a fun spot after your workout. I love being a member here!

Ive only just joined, but so far, so good. It is well-equipped, and the majority of it is in working order. Some of the treadmills were out of order, but there wasnt a wait for one. The key pluses are that the other members are really courteous: they rerack, wipe down, and dont update their FB profile while sitting on the equipment.

All i want from a gym is all the weights and machines i need, plenty of squat racks, and not having to wait when its busy. BeFit has all those things. Everyone here is here to work out hard. I can turn up with no motivation and end up killing my workout. Owner is great too.

As a gym owner I scrutinized any gym that I visit. Walked into Be Fit Gym today as my buddy is a member. Had a solid workout, love the music and I got to meet Edgar, the owner and he was freakin awesome. I highly recommend this gym.

The worst gym I ever try in the USA, don’t take me wrong. They have good machines, I loved the location close to my house. But they have no AC, they give me one day free. I train just 30 minutes, that was enough for me. Too Hot. You could see the sealing is broken. The men restroom is like a Apartament bathroom. Then I went to 24 hr Fitness. I will pay 16 dlls more but that’s what I call a real gym. Thks anyway for the day free

Everything you need for the right price

So, I attended this gym in the summer. It went well during most of my time there. As far as what was accomedated for a gym was good to go. However, being someone who was going to a gym to loose weight primarily I didnt recieve a completely positive expierience. One day after being at this gym for two hours, sweating like crazy. The manager gave a negative comment regarding my weight. It was very innapropriate as that individual/ The Manager didnt understand my journey.He also said it out loud in public. I wouldve expected something encouraging.Since, usual coaches/health leaders are trying to make a difference in other peoples lives. I am not attending this gym again nor will I support someone who is selective and mediocre as far as being a great change.

Great staff, motivated clients, feels like a gym!

I live on the same street as the previous commenter and would have to disagree with the music and the cooperativeness of the management at the gym. Im in the gym everyday when Im in town and they are constantly adjusting the music for their neighbors. Its definitely nice to walk across the street to your gym and its even better that Everyone knows your name when you walk in. Its such a different vibe coming from 24hr fitness, this place gets and keeps you motived to push out those last reps. They have a side yard with some tires and plenty of room to do some outdoor exercises. The eado area is transforming daily and this gym is definitely in line with what is up to come for this area. Its definitely a younger and more active community that is slowly growing. So I would have to say if the music is too loud now, eado is only going to get louder!
