Awesome place we came out for there movie night we were vendors, check them out any weekend for a movie with great food right in the parking lot or break a mean sweat in the gym. You will definitely find us there 😜

Awesome old school gym with a lot of great history. The horizontal leg press was used by Arnold and they have an original Universal lat machine. If you are looking to stay clean while you lift this isnt the place for you but if you want to hit a lift on some old school equipment with some cool history this is the place for you.

Ive known Luis for years and hes always going out of his way to make sure his guests are well taken care of. I cant wait to see how he progresses his new property. Big things to come, buckle up and come pump some iron.

Had a great workout, good change of pace. Highly recommend this gym if you are serious about working out.

Its a no BS, home grown, full of heart gym. 25$ a month no contract. Great owner. As long as you dont mind old school weights, a rough aesthetic, and kind, hard working folks, this is a great gym for you.

This place is totally awesome! Went here to film for the Harvey movie and the owner is really cool and laid back. He offered his place to be a shelter during the actual Hurricaine Harvey. Very generous person who welcomes everyone with open arms.

So far, I’ve never had a bad experience. Super friendly staff & it’s always clean. They’re taking great precautions because of covid as well.

I’ve been coming to this gym since November 2018. I love this place. Luis, the owner, is serious about fitness, just pay your f*cken dues! I can get a great workout without having to wait for a machine. It’s never crowded and there’s no intimidation. There’s no A/C but I go to the gym to sweat, not be comfortable. This is what a gym should be. No BS.

No gimmick, just a good gym. great vibe. no jerks. the owner is super cool and he cares about the atmosphere. Great outdoor equipment (tires, chains, atlas balls, etc) equipment is always operational. youll see equipment that you wont find at the franchises. Downside- no ac, thats about it. highly recommend

No frills old-school gym, if youre SERIOUS about getting stronger then this is the place to do it. The atmosphere is grueling, but not intimidating, most of the people who train here are very dedicated and everyone I met was very polite and always willing to help. Plenty of free weights and racks, atlas stones in the back and a grassy area for the sleds. Owner is super badass, the epitome of how a small business owner should conduct themselves, cares about his customers and is very active in the community. You can tell he wants to elevate his surroundings by bringing everyone up instead of leaving people behind, a great example of what the entire city should be striving to attain.

Needed a place to go when my gym was shut over the holidays and this place was perfect for a strength trainer.Loud music, free weights, no contract, inexpensive daily rates.Everyone was helpful and friendly.NOT A CARDIO GYM, NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE FUSSY ABOUT AMENITIES.Perfect for me.

Perfect old school style gym.. If your trying to get away from overpriced and uncaring gyms or want to try something new I highly recommend power house houston.. Personal trainers are available and flexible, gym fees are very reasonable.. There is equipment inside and out that fits any exercising need.. The place is always growing and the owner is constantly finding new equipment.. Stop by and check it out ask for Luis the owner

The best gym in town . This is not the average commercial gym, this gym has an awesome vibe like no other will ever have.

Just started going & I loved it. Ive been to several gyms since I was 14,& this is the best one. If you like to take selfies, walk, look at yourself, and Zumba;its NOT for you. Only for actual working out.
