Travelled from out of state to do a job, planned a month in advance and even called North Main Tool to make sure they had the equipment I needed. Arrived at their shop to pick up the equipment and they would not rent to me because I was from out of state. I had to go way out of my way to find the equipment elsewhere. I usually prefer the smaller tool rental shops; you get better service and better quality tools, but this shop cost me hours and possibly the success of my job. From this experience, I regard this outfit unreliable and not professional.

Make sure you take pictures or video of what ever you rent from this place. No matter how small the peices are TAKE PICTURES. This company is always calling that something is missing. It NEVER fails so if you dont want to pay more TAKE PICTURES!!!

Rented a skid steer with a smooth bucket to flatten out a lot and remove rocks. They were very professional and quick; they prepared the equipment while we were doing the paperwork. It turned out that my vehicle didnt have the appropriate hitch for pulling the trailer so they immediately provided delivery and pick up for a reasonable price; frankly it made the process simpler and one less thing to worry about.The Bobcat worked great and the people were a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend them and will definitely rent from them the next time I need equipment.

I rented a skid steer for digging posts for a fence I was building on an acre of land. When I called to inquire about which machine would be best for the job they gave me three options and what each machine could do. I was very pleased with the machine and with the service when I picked the machine up. Would definitely rent from here again. I am surprised by the low reviews, I believe they have a new owner.

My father Robert Maldonado and I have been renting tools here for the last 20yrs. Never a major issue. If there was an issue it was fixed. Thank you all the guys NMTR. You guys never let me down.

I have done business with the owners for years and will continue doing so as long as they are in business. I have as on yet had a problem with any of many rentals. I would and do recommend this company for any construction need.

The guy that runs the rental is a real piece of work. The tools they rent barely work. I rented a sprayer and was given no instruction on how it works, the guy just said stick it in the paint and flip it on. I couldnt get the sprayer to work at all and figured it was broke, especially since the housing was duct taped together. When I took it back they told me the tool was operational and it was operator error, worst customer service possible. Dont rent from here.

These people are crooks. Rented a mini excavator from them hydraulic hose broke less than 2.5 hours into digging. They were closed till Monday. Returned the machine Monday was charged for hose, 5 gallons of oil and full 8 hours of use. Only used the machine 3 hours and was charged 400 dollars what a rip off.

Not only are the prices the best, if you get stuck and have to keep your rental over the weekend, call and let them know, they did not charge an extra day or hours.

Worst customer service I have ever seen, extremely rude and zero concern for customers issues with their tools. Never rent from these people.

Reserved machine for next day. Show up before 8 like they told me to and they were loadong it up for someone else. Thanks for nothing.
