I initially applied for a position Resource had available back in 2020. I needed a job and decided to apply for something well below my desired pay. The Agency was really responsive to that particular position and I almost accepted the role, but it was a long term assignment and I just couldnt accept the pay rate for a long period of time. I noticed they did advertise positions closer to my professional background and yet I was never considered. I didnt take it personal. Thats the nature of the industry. They select who they believe the Client will hire. Regardless, if you know you can do the job. Recently, I applied for a Role they had advertised and was contacted by Ari about a different position. I have to say, from the first phone call I felt like she was going to at least present me in a way that made them want to meet me. She was transparent about the interview process, which I appreciated and was very communicative, which is also appreciated when you are actively trying to find work. Luckily, the Client decided to meet with me and the rest was in my hands... Fortunately, it seems for now, it worked out. Dealing with Staffing Agencies can make you feel anxious, frustrated (Ive dealt with a lot of them), but I want to take this time to thank Arielle Hill for her confidence in me, her transparency, and also for keeping me filled in along the way. I felt like I was in a Partnership and not just another resume. I appreciate that!

Everything was ok I’m the beginning but after that first assignment with Transcore it went down hill. They say they will help yu find something else but don’t. Lily Lugo lives to lie she told me 3 different assignments I asked abt magically filled but never to the job down like I was told they would. It’s still there in too of saying I cursed at her 😂. They don’t really care about your well-being they just want to make money. The contact they have with Transcore varies. 1 group might get paid $12 an hour and the following week the group after yu will get $1. There is no special project everyone does the same thing and some are getting paid more than others. Their tryna-over rate is ridiculous and they don’t care. If yu really really need a job then this is the place to look but make this a last resort and DEFINITELY be looking for something else

A lot of these posts are attacking the staffing agency for lack of compassion, but fail to realize they are hiring for the businesses who are hiring. Those businesses are paying RS to send candidates who are the BEST fit for the job. You cannot fault the agency simply because you’re hurt you were not chosen. The recruiter will continue presenting you for roles if you’re professional and fit the job description. Remember how you present yourself goes a long way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The agent was very unresponsive. She stated she would call me and I waited and waited. I emailed her and called her since she missed her appointment with me of calling me. I emailed her and even called the next day. She would not return my phone calls or emails.

I had an interview at this location and I must say they are by far the most professional staffing agency I have worked with. Karen was super sweet and perfect for the receptionist role there at this location. I interviewed with Peter, he’s so awesome! Will definitely recommend this place to our Houston Community! ❤️

Don’t even bother to work here, Alessandra Manrique is rude and not understanding at all, not professional. No benefits and low pay don’t even work for Transcore.

My experience with Resource has been THE. BOMB! Ive been working with Kaitlin, who is the sweetest ever. She gave me options! She called me to do quick jobs, she called me about long term jobs. She has KEPT in contact with me since the very first interview. I have an amazing job, that i love going to. Pays me well. The staff is friendly. Thank you Resource!

I have never applied or gone through a staffing agency when seeking employment, but decided to try it this time. I must say it has been a GREAT experience! Jade Alonso has been such an awesome recruiter. She has kept in constant contact with me and followed up anytime she said she would. She also found jobs that fit my background, experience and requested salary. Im so glad I found them online and took the time to apply!

I worked with Alessandra Manrique back in 2018 for a supplemental position with Transcore. Just something to do for extra traveling funds. She was very short and rude in conversation. Just had a attidude for no reason The project itself is ridiculous. The work environment with Transcore is blah !

Wasted my time with this Staffing agency, went in for an interview for a position about a month ago, my recruiter informed that if I wanted to begin working the following Monday several steps were needed to be complete in a timely matter (interview, exam, on-site visit, & drug test) once I arrive onsite I am informed of a waiting list and that I’ll be the next class in a about a month later still nothing. Also my recruiter has made very little (if any effort) to keep me updated on the status of the position and does not respond to emails in a timely matter. Honestly I would look somewhere else for work if you are needing to work soon they don’t seem to respect the time and life’s of the people they employ.

This place is great everyone is so nice and friendly. 1st I spoke to Crystal T and she is amazing and so informative. I cant wait to start working with this agency.

Disgusting and unprofessional staffing agency. I don’t see how they “help” people . I applied for a job and took the exam, afterwards I was given the opportunity to take the on-site visit . Everything went great with that and afterwards I was told I was going to be given information for a clinic to take a drug test and we could further my hiring process. A week passed and I hadn’t received anything so, I’m the one who reached out to them. All out of nowhere I’m told that they decided to look elsewhere for a candidate. I was told this company was a joke and I honestly should have listened to them . They lack communication, empathy and compassion . Don’t bother wasting your time here . It really isn’t worth it. You’re better than this disgrace.

Unprofessional, waste of time and the walk thru I went to for Transcore a company they are contracted through the person doing the walk thru said she would only pick someone for one position they had open if she interviewed them. Which isn’t fair. I tried giving benefit of the doubt communicating and checking into show my patience and wanting to work with them but after 3 emails sent to Avery on the third one she finally responded saying to continue apply on the website. Which I have and have yet to hear from anyone regarding anything. For some this is a right fit but for most you have to be able to start months later than what they tell you. Don’t waste your time here.

This is a complete waste of time. I informed the interviewer I was a convicted felon prior to going to interview and was told it depend on the job. Although I have 2 degrees, I was told they couldnt place me. I read the reviews prior to going and ignored them because they were very friendly on the phone. Well ends up, all the negative reviews are true. You may as well comduct tour with your own job search and not waste your time nor gas going here.

The young ladies that work here are very insulting rude and demeaning. They lack understanding empathy and compassion to help people. They have no concern care or want to help people properly. Also the company carries a nothing is their fault attitude. Therefore they lie laugh and insult you all at the same time.

I have been using resource for almost 5 years. Looking over the reviews I see people complain about not being called back or waiting for an email response, I can relate, however they do have TONS of clients and you must be patient and EMAIL is the best method of communication. Tracee has been my recruiter, Ive also had Kaitlyn, I got a job almost IMMEDIATELY the 2 times I have used them, and emails were answered eventually, but they were answered. I have only one negative thing to say and its about their policy when you finish an assignment, they want you to update your availability on their site w/i 24-hrs... After completing a 10 mo assignment, I dont know what your training video said!!! I was in constant communication with my recruiter and they knew I wanted to work. Still Texas Workforce Commission decided that I quit my job because I didnt update my availability. I HATE that policy but I think TWC has a bigger role in this.

This place made me feel like a second class citizen. Very unprofessional and the staff completely wasted my time. The recruiter had limited knowledge of anything. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This office needs to retrain all employees, including management. If I could choose no stars I would.

They never get back to you ever, they lie about not being in the office. I passed all the exams and did my part..But when trying to get in contact with a recruiter named Alessandra about a job she doesnt even bother even speaking with me.

Well I guess these reviews are true, you absolutely cant get in contact with anyone. They dont respond to your emails or return phone calls. You probably have to call 100x a day just to get a response but Im just going to look else where for a part time position. Not wasting my time with people that are unprofessional when it comes to handling business.

In February, I applied for a job that they were posting for HCTRA Data Entry job. I was called a day later, did the assessment and passed with flying colors. Got an interview with Jade and she offered me a better job that will match my experience AND has a higher pay. I wasnt tripping. I said, Totally! I just need something in the meantime so I can have income for moving into another home AND before I have my baby in late May. She said she will call me back about the training classes I need to take when they offer it again. My problem is with this location: I gave them my phone number for a reason, which is for them to contact me whenever they have offers. I hope I did not fill that out for them to sell my information, so I been waiting for 2months going on 3 months for them to contact me. AND she sat there and told me that she will call me when there is a job offering after I asked her if I can just enter the data entry job for the meanwhile and still nothing but have the absolute nerve to have the opportunity posted on every job referral out there. Get it together man, get it and keep it together.

I am so disappointed in this staffing agency. They did nothing to help me find a job. All I got was unanswered emails and unanswered calls. If you get Tracee Powell as your recruiter, run! Run for the hills and/or ask to be assigned to a different recruiter. I think I must have called and emailed her over a dozen times and she NEVER bothered to respond. All she did was make me believe she would help me find a job. Perhaps it was because I decided to accept a job that was willing to pay me more than Resource?! Who knows and who cares at this point. I give them two thumbs down when it comes to being efficient and professional, And two more thumbs down when it comes to returning phone calls and replying to emails. #SMH People need to work. Dont get their hopes up high and have them think youre (recruiter) going to shop around their resume. At least have the decency and respect to communicate with your potential employees. Keep them in on the loop! Dont make them run in circles chasing after you (recruiter). Be honest and upfront. Dont raise hopes! People have rent, mortgages, bills, car payments to make. Some of us have children who depend on us! So if Resource is in the business in helping people find jobs, then do that! Dont waste peoples time!!! P.S. Houston has a lot of awesome employment agencies. Google them! Dont settle for 2nd best! If I could, I would give this agency 0 stars. I dont think theyre worthy of any!!!!! This staffing company is a joke. I had submitted an application on indeed and received a phone call from jade, I wasnt able to answer but she left me a voicemail. I called back and she wasnt available, I called the next day and was able to speak with her and she asked me some questions and had me do an assessment for a possible job. I finished the assessment and she told me she would give me a call back, I called and she wasnt available. I called 3 more times and eveytime she either wasnt available or just stepped out of her office. Up to today Jade has not called me back. It is so rude and unprofessional and unethical to not get back to someone. So if youre looking for a possible job look somewhere else because this agency is a waste of time, you will never get a call back from the recruiters.

They are very friendly and welcoming, and place you at very good jobs that pay well. Definitely refer someone to them.

Had an interview to meet up with a recruiter spent 1 hour waiting in the front just to be told the position was filled. Saw an orientation video and filled out all the paperwork for future positions.Never got a call about another job but I kept seeing constant job postings for the same position on indeed and their website.Called to ask, and was told they werent hiring and if that position was to open they call and hire people that are on file already,a month later I see they are hiring again for that 1 position, i apply online on indeed and immediately get a response and an interview to meet a recruiter,once she found out i was active in their system she stop replying its been 3 weeks and nothing!RUN AROUNDS WITH THIS COMPANY! WASTE OF TIME!

Lol... I thought i was the only one... I am just coming out from an interview over there. Oh lord the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL staffing agency.Have you ever gotten out of an interview, filling out the hiring paper work when u know nothin abt when you start ur job or where??!!!I had an appointment at 1pm. I came out around 4pm. They had me fill an application, retest (a test i did already and passed with way more than the minimum required), had me fill out a bunch of papers, and i finally spoke with a recruiter at 3pm after abt 2hrs long wait. The interview was short. Less than 5 min ( i was overqualified 4 the job..so i knew i was gonna get hired).she gave me the new hired paperwork. Took me out to fill it out. Then she went back and continue doing her stuffs. Her name was Ale. I waited and i finally asked to the receptionist, whats next? Who is gonna give me details of what i should do now. She didnt even know herself, tried to get to Ale and allegedly, she was on the phone. She said, she will email me the next step and i was like, is she gonna spend the day over the phone? Lol..ill wait...i waited, the girl didnt even bother following up or calling me back to apologize. I should have used those 3 hrs to volunteer somewhere instead..what a waste

If you simply tell the recruiter that youre not able to pass the drug test shell go ahead and forward what I said to the lab company and put me on the list of ppl that actually did fail the drug test, not just simply stating that you are likely/going to fail the drug test. So now apparently Im banned FOREVER from reapplying with them due to that, like as if I committed a crime or some bs, even though the staffing agencies around them only tell you to reapply after 6 months if you manage to fail the drug screening. I would apply elsewhere honestly, they sure know how to peddle the war on recreational users, when in reality its just a simple computer job your gonna get put in, no arms or legs will be lost at the end of the day lol. Save gas, go elsewhere.

Literally the WORST place to work for. Literally they let people come into work knowing they no longer had a job and didnt tell anyone. Worst place ever.

I started my business about 3 months prior to applying to transcore a weekend job basically looking at picture and entering license plate. I’d figure I’d go through a recruiter nothing to serious and simple. The recruiter JADE RESENDEZ is a LIAR and very incompetent. I came in for an “interview” which was like 10 mins maybe shorter, took the assessment did very well. Started doing the paper work and was on my way to get a drug test. Like with my previous jobs I would tell the tester I am prescribe to medication that will show up and showed them the prescription along with medical history, telling me it will be fine as long I have documentation. 5 mins later the incompetent JADE basically calls me saying because of my medication I failed my test and I can’t be placed in the weekend job for transcore. I reached out to Carlotta Hayes, operations since Jade is useless in figuring the problem out. Turns out this whole company is UNPROFESSIONAL and doesn’t take responsibility for their mistake. Carlotta accused me of lying to Jade... in that she asked me if I was on any medication which she never did. Pretty sure in our 10 min “interview” I would remember compared to however many interviews a typical recruiter takes in a day. Do not trust JADE RESENDEZ and this company. JADE is a liar and can’t be trusted especially with a simple weekend job let alone a full time job, and lacks communication. Whatever a person takes as medication shouldn’t have to be outright stated unless asked by the recruiter or hiring manager which was not asked. Please see the other reviews on JADE.

Horrible waste of time. They said I had an interview I sat an waited for an hour no one ever came to interview me so I left. I drove 40mins away to get there. So unprofessional !!!!

The worse staffing agency ever. Jade Alonso is a recruiter there and she set me up with a company, Transcore. Jade advertised the company’s hours as Mon-Fri 6-2:30pm and occasional Saturday’s. When I started, we would have paid breaks for hours because they would run out of images. When there weren’t enough images, they would send us home early unpaid. That’s not even the icing on the cake. For the past month and a half, we were working mon-fri 5:30-4pm or 6-4:30pm, saturdays 5:30-3pm and sundays 5:30-2:00pm. No days off. They expected you to type at least 650 an hour working overtime with no mistakes. Oh yeah, if you made a mistake you would lose your incentive, which Jade advertised as being “easy” to obtain. This is absolutely the most unprofessional company to work for. When you expressed your concerns to Jade she swept them under the rug. When you asked her for a different assignment, she said you need to put in a two weeks notice and even then, you may not have a job. Jade is unprofessional, she doesn’t care, and she’s a liar. She only cares about filling the job openings for this company. That’s it!
