My pictures below will speak for themselves as the first was the “before” at Brickhouse Bridal and the “after” is on my wedding day. They worked countless hours making sure everything was perfect for me! Every alteration seemed to change something else of the fitting of the dress and they were patient and kept working with me until it was to my liking. They are also the kindest team to work with! After a lot of research and reading reviews of several places, I decided to take my wedding dress here for alterations. They had also come recommended by the boutique. Naturally, I wanted the MOST care taken with the most expensive garment I’ve ever owned. Merlin took great care of me. She altered my dress, I tried it on; it needed another tweak and when I went back, it was perfect. The price wasn’t gouging either. I’m planning to take more items here, based on the work they did for my wedding dress.

Its hard for me to find clothes that fit. Brought in several pairs of the same pants. Merlyn did a great job evening them out and helping me to find a happy length (I have a wide range of footwear). Completely fair prices for solid tailoring!

This place is amazing best costumer service. They help with my wedding dress since I’m 5’1 it was too long for me, but after we postpone our wedding from spring to winter we use the extra fabric to add some sleeves to my dress the final work was fantastic I was a happy bride.

Just needed a quick hem on a casual sun dress. Should have only taken an hour at most but had to leave the dress for 3 days. Dropped it off Wednesday morning picked it up Friday night. The hem wasnt straight. For the price and quality its not worth it.

Vintage Tailors went ABOVE and BEYOND with my dress. My poor dress went through 4 different alterations, which I know sounds crazy, but I started out trying out trying to go cheap with my alterations which was a HUGE mistake. Every person that touched the dress caused a new issue with it and I was too spooked to go back to have them correct it, from lopsided darts in the front, big gaping in the chest area, bunching at the hips ... To all of the other Brides out there, spend ALL the dollars on your alterations. It is so worth it ... Given the pandemic, our event was postponed and I had the time to invest in the massive rework/design update my dress needed. The halters straps were removed to make the dress strapless and nude illusion mesh added in with a line of buttons down the back to make the chest flush and not gape. Vintage did an amazing job! My mother and I had a wonderful experience at Vintage Tailors! My wedding dress needed several areas around the top taken in. My mother’s dress needed the hem shortened and the sleeves extended. Both dresses had tops that were very intricate. After we visited with Vanessa and Merlyn, we were immediately impressed. These ladies are quick, professional, and know exactly what they are doing. Vintage Tailors did an amazing job with my wedding dress alterations! It was such a wonderful experience working with them and my dress fit perfectly! There was a lot of beading and intricate details that had to be taken off and replaced to complete the alterations and It all turned out better than I could have imagined. I got my wedding gown and cathedral veil steamed here for my bridal portraits. The price was unbelievably reasonable and over half the price of another quote I received. They both look incredible. I was very surprised to learn that these ladies took the time to make a larger garment bag for my dress so It did not get wrinkled again. They also had my dress ready the next day where others told me it would be at least 3 days. I am so please with their service and will definitely be using them again in the future!

These ladies did a wonderful job on my wedding dress! They were even able to rush it for me at no charge when my wedding was moved up. I was a little nervous going somewhere I didn’t know, but I trusted them right off the bat and they did a wonderful job with my dress( it had a ton of beading.) I am so appreciative of them, they are very sweet and did a great job. I highly recommend for wedding alterations.

I absolutely adore the team at Vintage tailors. From bridesmaids dresses in previous weddings to my own wedding dress, i would trust them with my life!! They made my wedding dress even more beautiful with the best bustle ever. I was so scared that it would be bulky and ruin my simplicity look of my dress, but it was FLAWLESS and laid so nicely i barely even knew it was bustled. Then my rehearsal dinner jumper was too big in all the wrong places but fit in certain place, they made sure they tweaked it until it was PERFECT. I even moved farther away from the area and I still will ALWAYS make the drive to use them. Ill never trust anyone else with my stuff!!

I found Vintage Tailor on google. I thought I was going to give them a try since they have good review. I came and will never leave. They impressed me with every job I thought it’s impossible to fix. Vanessa is like a miracle worker. She is very patient (THANK YOU Vanessa). And she understands what I really want. Twice already I had my doubt; but the clothes (skirts and dresses) turned out EXACTLY as I would like them to be. Merlyn is very quick with the email appointment. I brought in a cream-colored sweater with a hole the size of a US quarter on the front abdomen area to see if they could do anything to mend it. I was doubtful, but they said it would be no problem. To my complete astonishment they managed to match the color, texture, weight, and weave of the yarn PERFECTLY. The sweater now looks new. Thank you!

Vanessa and Vintage Tailors did beautiful work on my wedding dress in a short time. Vanessa listened to the alterations I had in mind and suggested changes I hadnt even thought of and the dress ended up being so flattering and comfortable.She had to remove and reattach the intricate beading on the lace of the bust and it looked perfect. Vintage took in the bust and hips of my dress, added a bustle, and steamed my dress in four weeks. You will be in good hands.

The people at Vintage provide exceptional service whenever I visit them.I used to go to multiple tailor shops around the area but after working with Vanessa there was no reason to. She is very thorough in her process and explains why she recommends an alteration. They also do a great job altering your clothes in addition to the excellent service!

Over the past few months, Ive brought about a dozen pairs of pants to Vintage Tailors to be hemmed, along with a couple shirts that needed some minor alterations. Until recently I havent had many tailoring needs, but now that I do its safe to say Ive found the only tailor I will ever need. Not only are they quick, efficient, and up front about everything that will be done and what the result will be, but they are extremely pleasant, professional, and also have a way of knowing what you want even if youre not 100% sure yourself. For example, I brought in a couple of jeans to be hemmed and specified what I thought at the time would be the right length. They turned out really short and I was dismayed thinking this was irreversible. As if to anticipate this situation, they left plenty of extra fabric inside my jeans so that this could be fixed. I took them back and they fixed them for me free of charge, even though it was my fault that I specified the wrong length. Top notch customer service. And did I mention quick? They have same day service if you really need it, but Im usually not in a hurry when I bring in my clothes. Occasionally I have stopped by a little earlier than when they say theyll be done whenever Im already in the shopping center for lunch, and sure enough my clothes are ready for pickup. Vintage Tailors far exceeds my expectations and I will be sure to go to them for any tailoring needs.

These two ladies are fantastic. They altered 3 sport coats and a suit for me and a cheer uniform for my daughter. They work hard on the front end to get the right alterations documented and they work just as hard on the back end to make sure it is right. This is the only place I take clothes now.

Vintage Tailors did a phenomenal job on my wedding dress! My dress is truly a piece of artwork... but because of this, it made alterations an extremely stressful thought! I couldnt imagine anyone cutting up such detailed beading and making it look just as beautiful as its original state. However, Vintage Tailors did just that!I am also a pretty modest individual, so getting the dress altered to my liking caused quite a bit of anxiety throughout the alteration process. Vintage Tailors is the best ever! My husband waited until the 12th hour to try on his tuxedo and found that the pants were too tight. He couldnt even button them. We were leaving town in two days, and I thought we were going to have to rent a tux. I called Vintage Tailors the next morning and explained my dilemma. I brought the pants to them about 11AM, told them my husbands waist size, and went back to work. I received a call from them by 2PM. The pants were ready. I couldnt believe it. Vanessa was amazing! I came in with 4 days between my engagement pictures to get a skirt let out and hemmed and a dress altered. Amazing experience with my wedding dress! Extremely honest and knowledgeable, they let me know that my concerns about my jackets werent a problem, that my jackets were supposed to have the tightness in areas I described. Also recommended options for fixing my belt and provided me with my chest size.

I came to these ladies desperate and out of time. The dress I had made for me was nearly 3 sizes to SMALL..... When all others would turn me away they took a closer look and found options. They made a miracle happen. Not only did they meet my dead line but also did the alterations on 3 other dresses for me as well. Thank you is not enough.

Was in a crisis situation to get a bodybuilding suit sized last minute for a next day show. They serviced me with no rush with an arrival time of only 8minutes before they closed. OMG ! I searched high and low for someone that could alter my Colombian faja, (compression garment) to no avail.I had surgery that requires me to wear a faja for 6+ months or more for the best results. Yes, every day minus 1 hr a day when I shower. Unfortunately my faja was not made for my 4’10’’ stature. It bunched up at the waist, super uncomfortable and made it really difficult to follow “Dr’s orders”.Then, I found Vanessa and her sister at VINTAGE TAILORS. So refreshingly friendly, accommodating....above and beyond my expectations.I 💕💕💕💕💕 this business and will not even think of patronizing another. I give VINTAGE TAILORS all my hearts because 5 stars just doesn’t cut it.Oh and my altered garment is a way better fit and construction than the original makers design!!!!!

I took almost 10 pieces to be altered by Vintage Tailors for Miss Texas America, most importantly being my evening gown. They added some bead trimming, which turned out great! It needed to be shortened about half an inch so they drew a chalk line across the entire bottom of the gown to mark where it needed to be hemmed. For my other evening gown, I requested some lining be added to give it a trumpet look, to which they said not a problem. I go to pick up the gowns and the lining they added was so noticable it was unwearable. They said they would take it out and place it lower. Everything else looked ok so I took my items. The second time I came back for the gown they added lining to, it was still noticable and then they proceeded to tell me it would need additional lining and cost more. I took the gown and left. At Miss Texas, I was looking at the evening gown they added beading to and were SUPPOSED to hem, and I found that the chalk line was still all the way across the bottom of the gown!!! They had not touched the length of the gown at all!!! I refuse to ever use them again because they do not complete their work and tell you they can add to a dress and when it doesnt work, add on to your bill!!

The first time I came to Vintage Tailors, it was just because it was the closest place to my apartment. I had a bridesmaid dress that was bought way to large for me. It wouldnt even stay up on its own. It was a very complicated dress to alter and had boning in the top, but they made it fit perfectly and look like it had been bought that way. It wasnt quite complete when I came to pick it up, so they offered to COME TO MY APARTMENT so I wouldnt have to make the drive again. I was blown away by how much they cared about a first time customer. I recently came back to Vintage to get my wedding dress altered. I wouldnt trust it with anyone else.Highly recommend for ANY alteration needed, large or small!

I went for a wedding dress fitting I called and told them everything I wanted to do and I was quoted $50-100 (I was expecting it to go over since they hadnt seen the dress) I get finished with the fitting and he tells me its going to be $475...I asked for an itemized list and he said that I needed 3 bustles for a small train at $18 a piece, a basic hem to take off 2 inches would be $125 because were working with the tule underneath when the tule was much higher than the hemline. I took it to another place and I was quoted $300 for everything I asked about the bustles and they said oh no you only need one this place was trying to rip me off and add things that I didnt need to make a buck. They seem to be very dishonest people with very unreasonable prices. This place is a rip off.

I specifically called this place and got a quote from them for $14 a shirt to get tailored around the waist And after confirming it with them the total I sent my husband a wasted 30 minutes of his time after he had a conversation with them as well to tell him that it was $22 a shirt!
