BRIDES BEWARE. This was the absolute worst experience. Lydia told me I was too fat for my dress every single time I went in for a fitting. I was on a time crunch and didn’t have time to take it elsewhere, not to mention she was holding it until I paid the full balance. My dress had no detailing at all and she charged me $1000 to “alter” it. It was still falling off me me when I finally gave in and just paid my balance so I could leave with it (in tears). I asked multiple times for it to be taken in more, and she persisted in telling me it wouldn’t look good because I was too fat. She put one stitch to hold a very long train in a bussle, which broke before I even left the store from her hooking it once to show me. Not to mention it wasn’t even hemmed enough even though I wore my wedding shoes for every fitting. If I could give this zero stars I would. It was awful and I had to have a family friend alter the entire dress the day before my wedding once I had arrived back home in KY. She basically stole $1000 from me because I paid her to get my dress back when she did nothing to it that I had asked. DO NOT USE HER.

Q Alterations is amazing. I have used them for 20 years. Lydia is wonderful and meticulous to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right.
