After I was married 25 years ago, I brought my wedding dress to Coronet and they did a beautiful job heirlooming my dress. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience when I gave them my daughter’s dress to be heirloomed. I called six weeks after I dropped off the dress to inquire about the status. First I was told the dress wasn’t ready. Then she called back and said that the dress was not in their system and they could not locate it, then she said they found it but they hadn’t even started it yet. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that I would have to wait until the following Monday when she returned. I asked them to call the manager and ask her call me. I received a call back that the manager was busy and would call me on Monday. When I told her that I was on my way to pick up the dress she told me that the store would close in 15 minute and she would not wait. So I guess I will just have to wait until it is convenient for them to let me know about a $3,400 dress. Completely unacceptable and horrible customer service! As a follow up to the response given below. Not only did I return the call, but I was quoted $600.00 for the heirlooming, told that the dress would be finished at the end of August, AND confirmed with the person who does the heirlooming that the service would not damage the feathers on the dress. In addition, I also offered to provide a credit card as an approval for her to continue with the process and was told it was not needed. I explained all of this to the woman who initially answered the phone this afternoon when she questioned if I had called the correct establishment. Had the manager bothered to call me today as I requested, rather than waiting until Monday, she would have been given this information. I did not receive any additional phone calls or voice mails after I was told that the manager was busy. Regardless if the woman who confirmed the heirlooming price with me did not update the ticket, the dress sat for 6 weeks without a single follow up. Coronet has clearly dropped the ball with this order and is choosing accuse me rather than taking responsibility for their error.
Please do your research before deciding where you want to have your favorite dress, blouse, pants or suit cleaned... not all cleaners are created equal. The services provided here are impeccable! Their attention to detail is quite refreshing. In addition to detained hand work, all steps are taken to ensure your items are well taken care of while in their facility. My clothes always come back looking just as good, if not better, than the day I purchased them. In the business of dry cleaning, you get what you pay for. This family owned business has been around since the 1940’s and it’s reflected in their values as a company and their customer service. Thank you for always taking such great care of our clothing and linens!
They are absolutely out of their mind. Quoted me $82 dollars for lightweight jacket. When I asked why so much, she said we do quality work. Well, hope your business will survive!
This place has got to be kidding me how are you going to charge $20 to launder and iron a shirt a button-up wear a tie long sleeve shirt 20 freaking dollars???? And the girl on the phone even said well we do quality work.... I said I get quality work done for less than $2 a shirt down the street at the regular dry cleaners who have thousands of shirts in and out each day and nobody complains about them. Will never recommend this place again Im glad I asked before going what their prices are. Oh and just for your sake of talking about it if you want slacks clean and dry clean its $40 each good luck dont spend your money somewhere else not at this place
They have always been the top end of quality and service. I dont take everything to Coronet, but when its important to look great or clean my finer clothing, I choose them. Loyal to them over 12 years.
By far, the best dry cleaning you will get for your shirts. You will pay for it tho, as they are pricey, but they really are the best on the dry cleaning part. Take your high end stuff there.
I had a brand new, high fashion, white dress and the very 1st time I wore it, a party guest dropped red wine close-by. It splatted ALL over the back of my dress, from one end to the other ! The next morning I took it to Coronet, and to my amazement, you can not see one spot or anydiscoloration at all. Wish I had before & after pictures ! Well-worththeir price !
This is a great place to get all your high-end clothing done. I didn’t know they were hand washing most of these clothes. Staff is very friendly and informative if you explain your concerns. All of my Robert Graham shirts will be getting cleaned here. It’s well worth the price, which is pretty expensive! Can you say tax write-off. No complaints here.
I went in this cleaners thinking it was a regular cleaners, it was the 1st place I saw driving home. I pulled in gave them my 13 year old daughters two dress got a ticket and a time and left. I came to pick the dresses up it was 216.00 no one ever told me it would be near this amount or explained that they were not a regular cleaners . I had no clue I feel as though someone should have explained this to me I feel as though I have been taken advantage of and robbed. I would not do business with this company.
Really pricey but worth it for your expensive garments and linens. They tell you if they won’t be able to lift a stain, thus saving your money if you decide to either not do it or take somewhere cheaper.
The level of service I receive from Coronet is 2nd to none! They have consistently gone above an beyond for me on some rather difficult requests. The old saying You get what you pay for could not be more true. They may be more expensive than your Pilgrims on the corner, but their work and the way they treat their customers is exceptional and speaks for itself!
The reviews here are completely unfair. Price is a function of service and quality at Cornet. It is not the same service as just down the street. I have been a customer for over 20 years. I send my best and most expensive clothes to Coronet, but some others go elsewhere.Anyone who uses them will see the difference.
Better service else wear for the price they charge. Not worth your time or money.
Great place, they do an awesome job on clothes, some of my bosss clothes are very expensive and as her personal assistant I only take these clothes to Cornet, I would give even a higher rating on that alone. The staff is so helpful and professional, thank you.
This place quoted me over $50 to dry clean just 1 mens suit!! I had the lady repeat the figure 3 times I was so dismayed. I would have given 2 stars, but withheld for fear of raising their rating... Please do not patronize this business.PS: For reference, prism cleaners just down the street charges less than $8 for the same service.
I was charged $75 for cleaning a dress with two spots (powder) easily removed on a fancy dress. There was no disclosure or price range provided when the dress was dropped off for cleaning. Poor business form.
I feel incredibly ripped off. I just paid $866 to have my wifes wedding gown cleaned for our daughter to use in her upcoming wedding. It looks worse than when we brought it in. I wish we would never have taken it to Coronet Cleaners. When I told them so, all I got was cold blank stares.
This place is not honest with people they do not explain the service they offer they just charge a huge amount without letting you know. All I wanted was something cleaned I took my items in got a date for pick up came back and was charged over $100 per item. These are two dresses I normally pay maybe $15 a piece to be cleaned. Their is nothing outside or inside the store to tell you what you will pay. Not a honest business please beware. They say there price is for quality but this price is above that and should be explained. Again not a honest business I was scammed.
Used them to clean and heirloom my wifes wedding dress and they did a magnificent job. I highly recommend Coronet Cleaners to everyone.
Just love the ladies at Coronet. They are so helpful!
This is my go to place for special items! I live approximately 100 miles away but find a way to either drive to Houston or mail my pieces to Coronet. Several times, they have shipped my items back via Fedex Ground.
So incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Took my item and left.
