I am beyond impressed. My expectations has been exceeded. Their level of professionalism is unparalleled. Cody arrived on time and performed complete inspection. Then provided a explanation that was simple to understand. He provided me with several options that would be best for my situation. Not one time was he rude or pushy. I am convinced this company believes in quality work and excellent work ethics.

Technicians were on time and extremely professional. As they got further into the job and expectations needed to be updated they did so clearly. Also they followed up in a timely manner on a outstanding issue and gave me some insight that I needed to get the problem addressed. They also left the work area very clean once they were done. Cody finished his early job and called to see if the appointment could be move up an hour earlier. Cody and his helper arrived and listened to my thoughts and began surveying the job. They began work showed me pictures of the lint buildup in the dryer vent and showed me pictures once the work was completed. Pleased with the work, excellent communications and professional workers. Price was as originally quoted.

Was very pleased. Moved into a new home a couple of years ago and while the fireplace passed just fine during inspection, for some reason (call it instinct) I was a bit skeptical. Very glad I trusted my instincts. Cody performed a full inspection including the top of the chimney which had a partial brick that was crumbling. He explained to me how water was getting in at the very top. He explained all my options other than rebuilding the entire fireplace/chimney and came up with a plan. Ever so grateful for his expertise and was never baffled by any of my questions. He showed me photos of everything and a quote typed out with prices and all ready to go before leaving. They called before arriving and as it worked out they were running early and gave me the option of an earlier arrival or they would wait until the appointment time. The entire process took about 45 minutes from the moment they drove up to my home. I will update my review when they come back and perform repairs.

Cody was very thorough, and explained the service to me. Although We had to get the company to come out a 2nd time, but they fixed it right away. It was no hassle. Also they recap the services with pictures and the process is very easy.

This is the second time I’ve used it first when I bought the house so I was secure with the fireplace.Great service cleanliness and totally experienced.Then I had a fire in the fireplace during the ice storm in February. Since I’ve been there before and I was happy I called him again.Was just as happy as I wasn’t first time. At this time I found out why using them again I have proof that the fireplace was working and in good order so I would not have a problem with the insurance company.Had pictures of when I moved in to show it was in working order. Did not know how important that would be and I think that inspector for also give me the knowledge.I would recommend them anytime anytime I need them again they’ll be the first cycle even if I decide to upgrade my fireplace which I might.

Lords Chimney came to our home recently to inspect damage to drywall in our second-floor bedroom. Their technician Cody did a great job explaining to us how that damage was caused, and also went on to explain other aspects of our home that we werent even aware of. He explained to us that roof replacement would need to be done first, so even though we havent yet used Lords Chimney we anticipate doing so once our roof is replaced.

I had an issue with my gas fireplace not lighting off. It had not been operated since moving in. Jack from Lords Chimney came out and made sure that everything was in working order and showed me how to light and operate it. I found Jack to be very professional and knowledgeable from a technical aspect. I definitely recommend Jack for any issues that you may have with your chimney.

The service technician closed and locked our fireplace flue; so, cold air does not escape, and hot air cannot get in.They always do a wonderful job for us. We would never use anybody but Lords!!

The tech was very patience, knowledgeable, and informative answering any questions that I had.

I have a new electric fireplace that has never worked properly. It turns off on its own. The company that installed it comes out every year and can never figure the problem out. These guys took so much time and troubleshooted the issue. They took it completely apart. They found a disconnected wire. We were hoping that was the issue. Unfortunately, it went out immediately after we used the remote but the second time it stayed on. We aren’t 100% sure it is working properly so he is going to call the manufacturer and troubleshoot some more. I would definitely use them again.

I called asking for a quote for the purchase and installation of gas logs. I wanted to purchase Real Fyre logs which Lords Chimney sells and simply needed a quote in order to confirm that Lords Chimney would be competitively priced. I was told they are not able to quote without sending a technician and charging a $140 call out fee. You are clearly better off going with a competitor if you know what you are in the market for since Lords Chimney is not up front with their pricing (other than the $140 which they make sure you know youll be paying).

We needed a chimney inspection in response to a home inspectors report. Marion arrived and promptly went through all the steps. He explained all the talking points on the report. He explained all the services available, I am throughly satisfied.

While they said they would be able to fix the leak issue temporarily (aka bandaid the issue), they were very forthcoming about recommending we look elsewhere to fix the underlying problem properly. Excellent work done by the technician who visited the premise. He knew exactly what needed to be done for the chimney crown and made other helpful suggestions. If I could give this business and technician 10 stars I would. I was scheduled to have my dryer vent cleaned between 11:00 and 2:00 Jack Weidman the tech called me and asked if he could come early, I said yes because it worked in my favor because I had so much laundry to do. My dryer was taking to long to dry, so my son who is a home inspector told me I needed to get my dryer vent cleaned. I did my research and read reviews and I came across this company, from start to finish these people were professionals. The most impressive thing about this company is, they send you a photo of your technician along with a brief summary about him. He was very thorough, professional, considerate, and manner-able. My dryer dries on the 1st time. He and my son told me that dirty dryer vents could be a fire hazard.

Well there is a lot to say. Briefly, the came on time had all the tools and supplies right there. They were not sales guys...they were the get it done guys.Found my problem and when examining the top of the chimney they took great pictures showing the old mortar had cracks but not a problem.However, as they packed up I asked can they remortar. They said sure. Gave a quote. And it’s done.Anyhow. It is hard to find someone who has skills on a “real” chimney. Great job!!!

During Harvey our chimney leaked. To prevent it from happening again, we wanted to have it repaired. They replaced the cap, waterproofed the chimney & did a tuneup of the fireplace. Lords Chimney did a thorough inspection of our fireplace and chimney, showed us photos of possible problem areas, and made sound recommendations for repairs and preventive maintenance. Many of the same issues had been pointed out to us during a recent roofing job. Marlon and Jack were courteous and professional at all times. Earlier Jose Gamboa put in our replacement fireplace and did a great job. When he finished he showed me how to relight the pilot if necessary. On the night before Thanksgiving I noticed the pilot light was out and didn’t remember how to re-light it (I should have paid better attention). Called Jose and he walked me through how to do it. So I have a happy wife on Thanksgiving and that’s priceless!

Just called and Llynn helped me out. Very professional, explained what would be the best route to take as far as taking care of Wasps in my fireplace. They only care about money and will only guess what the problem is with your chimney. They do not seem to be very knowledgeable and will not stand behind their work unless you pay for extra services. My chimney still leaks and I have photos of water coming down the flue and they claim that is not happening. They won’t send anyone out to verify their own work. Do not go with this company!

Called Lords Chimney to come service our gas fireplace. Lee, our technician, did an excellent job of servicing our fireplace. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. Resolved all of our issues. We will definitely use them for the maintenance of our fireplace. We had not used our fireplace since we bought our house in 2009 because the home inspection listed a problem with the hips which our contractor fixed. We just didnt use it because we didnt feel safe doing so until it was inspected and didnt act on it for no reason other than I didnt know whom to call. FINALLY, I did some research to find a certified chimney sweep & came across 2 companies locally, but in the other one, only the owner was certified so I called Lords where there techs are certified too. We had extensive work done to fix a myriad of problems. The chimney tile mortar had cracks so it had to be relined to be safe - we saw pictures of the problems. In the firebox the back wall was unstable & loose because of water damage so that had to be rebuilt. We also had to have the outside brickwork tuck pointed and waterproofed to stop water causing damage in the future. The gas logs were cracked and broken so we bought a new set. Because everything had to set & dry, were looking forward to using our fireplace tonight even if we have to turn the AC on to enjoy it. We are pleased with the work. Marlin did the complete inspection, tuck pointing, water proofing & installation of the new logs. He had great communication & kept us aware of all aspects of the job. Ivan took great care rebuilding the back wall which was a difficult because our home was built in 1978. Both Marlin & Ivan represented Lords very well. Our only negative was some soot on the carpet, but I have an appointment with Oops to take care of that.
