This was my first time using budget and a lady named Paula took care of me at both vehicle pickup and drop off. She was delightful and offered great service. I did the prepaid booking option online which was a better deal, will definitely be back.

The agents were very professional and helpful. The price for the 12 passenger van was very reasonable. Ms. Paula at the Downtown location on Webster Street was great!!

The car I rented has some seriously mechanical issues. I was going to call to trade it in but it is easier to just deal with it. Your website and app would not allow me to change my return date so I had to call.

Staff was accommodating and worked with me to get the exact car I needed. If I could, I would use this location every time I needed to rent a car.

The manager at the store I rented the car was really rude when I asked why they charged me for a service that I declined. The reason I accepted the offer was because the store associate convince me to get the XM radio since it was free. I initially rented a compact. At, unfortunately there wasn’t any car available for my reservation. Once that occurred the employee then said I was going to get an upgrade since I they didn’t have the car and ask to get the XM since it was free. The manger said she didn’t want to hear what I had to say since she wasn’t there at the time. Then I asked if she was the manager, she said yes. Afterwards I told her she needed to hear what’s going on since her associate made a mistake on the reservation. She then started to listen to me once I told her that this situation wasn’t handle correctly and that she should consult with the employee that way it wouldn’t happen to anyone else. In the end I was still charged for the XM that I was told was free.

Paula is an angel. I was with my parents in Houston having a rental car booked with Enterprise and refused my debit card and my credit card. My dad has cancer and we had an appt with MD Anderson the next morning and was having to drive back to Florida the next day. Upset, I went into Budget. I was met with a smile and Paula put me in a car they needed to be taken back to Florida. I will never forget the kindness she showed to me. Budget is my new rental company and I would avoid Enterprise across the street. They are the rudest unfriendly people I ever met.

Efficiency and organization are both missing here. Chaos. And you arent acknowledged after 15-20 min. I have used this location a few times, primarily due to their weekend hours, but its always a fiasco. The employees are VERY comfortable. Lastly, my vehicle had an oil change light on before I left the lot.

Lady that answered the phone was rude, because I asked her why they didnt have any rentals, she responded BECAUSE CHINA CANT BUILD CARS FAST ENOUGH AND THE PORT IN CHINA IS SHUTDOWN

I signed up to be a fastbreak customer online. This enables me to easily pick up a car without having to do much paper work. Just sign and drive. Budget usually has very competitive prices and the whole process is easy.

Because Im been charged with stuff I was not charged for and 1 week is extremely high $300 thats not my expeida rate

The only complaint is I couldn’t get them to answer the phone. I don’t like talking to recordings over the phone. But everything else was great.By the way, the recording was a good and easy recording to deal with compared to other recording of other vendors. But still would had preferred to deal with a real person over the phone. Deserves more than 5 stars, I give them a 9 from 1 to 0.

I strongly recommend this location. I have been coming to this one for 4 years and assure you that you wont find a more client-focused team than the people at this location. Gina and her folks are pleasant and helpful and do everything they can to get you in and out as quickly as possible. My experiences in the more than a dozen cars I have rented here have been nothing but fair pricing and better value and service than the price I actually paid.

Budget Rent a Car @ 1010 Webster Street in Downtown Houston is the best way to go for any rental need. They are not only about business, but they actually make sure their customers are satisfied. Hassle free service and smiles are what you get.Forget the rest and stick with the best.

It was hard to locate this agency due to construction at the airport and lack of clear signage. They were very busy, but the process was smooth. I had booked through hotwire and it took less than 10 minutes to get processed at the counter and get in my vehicle. Prices are a bit less than average. I dont like that you cant get someone from the local office to answer the phone.

I recently rented a car from this Budget location... I usually rent from the Hobby Airport location but the Downtown location was more convenient for this rental... The car was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful... The rental agent named Paula was very pleasant and knowledgeable... I will probably start renting from this location in the future whenever possible...

I made a reservation after coming from working an overnight 12 hour shift. The staff then informed me that I wasnt able to rent a vehicle due to a failed credit check. I informed her that wasnt correct. I just returned a car back to Avis the day prior. She was rude, and didnt offer any help. Instead, I had to pay 40.00 to get home on a Lyft. The service was horrible and I will not return again.

This was my third time renting with budget and as with the previous times I was extremely happy with them. The car was a newer chevy Malibu and it was in very good condition. The staff was also very friendly. Two tips for future renters. 1) Try to pick up your rental at a satellite office instead of the airport if you can. We save over $75 this way on the rental and according to the staff you typically will save when dont pick it up at the airport. 2) DO NOT WALK TO THIS LOCATION. While the staff was very friendly and the building was secure it was in a very sketchy part of town. I recommend a cab or Uber to drop you off just to be safe.

I had a terrible experience at this location for my first time going to rent a vehicle. I was told about my license not correct but that was wrong and couldnt rent a vehicle . This was a disappointment of customer service and I will never rent from this location again. I was upset and frustrated with the way they treated me as a new customer.

The car was not cleaned when I received it with animal hair and candy all over the seats and floor. When I returned it, they charged me $110 extra claiming that I left the car too dirty, it was probably cleaner when I returned it as I cleaned up most of the mess when I received it.

Excellent service, vehicle in perfect condition and very competitive price.

They delivered the car almost 2 hours later because they had no GPS available. It was not very clean. The car worked well. The lady who handed me the car was friendly, but when I returned it, the person in charge was not friendly, she didnt want to explain clearly what I asked her, she even made fun of me. If fuel refill is paid, they charge you the same full tank even if you spend half. Hopefully they improve the attention and respect the clients, foreigners or not.
