Best experience Ive ever had with the auto industry. I took my 2004 Subaru Legacy for major engine work. I was raised with parents that would never trust dealers because they take advantage and just want all your money. This dealer has completely turned that around for me. I will never consider any other dealer for the service of my Subaru. Client for life. Glenn Spina was my service advisor and was absolutely amazing. He made everything easy and did everything he could to help out! Other dealers should take notes from these guys. They truly know what they are doing. You can see that customer service is absolute priority here. Thanks to them, Im happily driving my Legacy again!

Incredible service location. Today they were able to squeeze me in, though incredibly busy, because I had an issue gone unresolved from another dealership (the other dealership was very nice and helped me out connecting with this location). Glenn was my primary contact and worked diligently with the technician, Alan, to get my issue resolved in about 2 hours. They communicated well with me and Stacey from the team even checked in on me to see how I was doing while waiting. Great service all around and I would recommend them to anyone.
When I bought the car I had a great experience, since then.. not so much. I have tried to get a hold of Charlie in the finance department for two weeks now, left messages with the receptionist because his voicemail was full. I strongly urge anyone to shop else where, if this is how they treat their customers after the sale then how do you know they aren’t deceiving you elsewhere. Let say you have an issue and need to talk to this one person, I have tried calling 2-3 days apart in hopes that he was just busy, then this week I have called on Monday and Friday. I tried to get a hold of the GM but like Charlie, apparently he is to busy to talk to a customer. Again, is this the after sale service anyone wants or deserves? $30,000 just to be blown off by management. At least the sales guys will call you, because their jobs depend on it…

Mike Leroy, the salesman we initially reached by phone, was a pleasure to work with throughout the test drive and purchasing process. He was friendly and straightforward. What impressed me most was his ability to communicate with us about the safety features of the vehicle. I learned so much that day that went a long way toward my feeling comfortable that we had chosen the best car for our daughter. Even after we had completed our purchase (finance rep at Team Gillman also friendly and personable), Mike sat with our daughter in the vehicle to make sure she was familiar with the controls and showed her how to pair her phone to the cars system. Mike Leroy was a great salesman he was patient with us answered all our questions and kept us informed the whole way with the shipment of vehicle. He walked us through everything with vehicle and stayed late till around 10:30 pm when we picked up our new 2021 Ascent. Only issue we had is we had appointment for pickup at 5 pm and didnt leave until right after 10:30 pm was told only had 2 finance people instead of usual 5 and there were others in front of us. My wife and I had work next day and both of us had to be up at 5 am. But the staff stayed late until it was finalized and we understand a bunch of places are short staffed including where I work as a nurse in the ER. The finance gentleman was nice and informative and since we are already Chase customers and bank with them he got us 4 years 48 months 0% interest on the Ascent instead of normal offered 3 years 36 month 0% interest term he worked with Chase bank letting them know we already bank with them and got the deal out of loyalty with banking with them. That in my eyes is above and beyond. Overall it was an excellent experience and in the future will keep all Gillman dealerships in mind when purchasing a new or used vehicle. I have been a customer of Subaru cars since 2015. My wife and I both purchased a Legacy sedan for each of us at that time. I traded mine in this month for a 2022 Outback. Gillman sales and service have always been easy to deal with and I have had no complaints. Shortages of new cars are a problem for all car dealers at this time, but I was able to select a vehicle that was on its way to Gillman Subaru North. Im very happy with my Outback. Only drawback in buying a new car - anywhere - is that the discounts that were available 6 years ago are not currently offered.

One word: refreshing. I asked for straight up honesty and transparency from the start since I was at my wits end after visiting 4 other local dealerships and just getting the run around. After what was probably a much longer than normal transaction, filled with many clarifying questions on my end, they were able to set me up with a Subaru Forester Sport - that I LOVE. Dylan H. was the sales side and Feras A. was my finance contact. The patience of these two is admirable but hey thats part of selling cars right? Service Dept: 5 stars for sales department. Zero stars for service department. They charged full price (153 dollars) for a new tire for their loaner car that got a flat and had to be changed by the customer. I got the bill and they got a new tire.

We took our Subaru for service on July 26th 2021. What a great experience! We expected to wait during repairs. Instead we took up the offer of a very comfortable loaner. We received updates and guidance with repair work. Ray Criner was so professional. We really felt like he was in our corner. Highly recommend and from here out we will always ask for him!
Went to look at a car and had the pleasure to work with Ahnonny. He was amazing. Usually we dread the Sales people. The wife had a recall on her Forester. Mechanic Alan Sanchez did a fantastic job of not only fixing the recall on the vehicle, but he also did a great job of assessing and fixing all the other maintenance needs that the vehicle had. He was also able to get all the repairs done in a timely manner so that we werent without our vehicle for an extended period of time. The next time you need your Subaru serviced or fixed request Alan Sanchez, you wont be disappointed and he will get your vehicle rolling again faster than you would expect.
Ive recently had to take my 2016 Subaru Outback in for service twice in 2 months (90k miles and I drive 110+ miles/day).DIEGO has been my point of contact at the dealership. While my car was in the shop DIEGO continually kept me updated on the status of my vehicle on a regular basis! But seriously absolutely hands down bestservice Ive ever had, experienced, or seen in my entire life! Im also work at a dealership, so that says a lot coming from someone who has seen many service departments and worked at multiple dealerships!If your car needs service, GO ASK FOR DIEGO!! When I reached out to the Gillman team they gave me the complete run around and now after having the car for 2 week I have been informed that the transmission is out on the car I’ve tried to reach out to them numerous time have yet to receive at least a call backAfter looking for a car for months now and have been turned down countless times . Hands down the best service experience Ive had and its not my first and not my first here at Gilman Subaru North. Great service team but the man is Glenn Spina! This service advisor is knowledgeable, friendly professional, helpful and when I say helpful he goes over and beyond his job I had an issue with the extended warranty company covering a confirmed issue. He gave helpful alternatives and figuring out the issue coming up with different ideas to the conclusion of me walking out the door still happy even though the issue was not taken care of due to the extended warranty company and not Subaru a third party warranty company.I still walked out the door happy I had a loaner for over a week, complimentary even without the extended warranty company not cooperating. You have a customer for life. Not sure how long Glenn has worked at the facility but without him I dont see how this team would be the same at all. He is the reason that I come to this facility and will return coming to this facility when theres other options and I drive over 1 hour+ 1 way.If youre looking for a service with everything in mind communication, professional, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and a person that goes over and beyond Glenn Spina @ Gilman Subaru North is THE MAN and your 1st and last representative you could want and ask for when it comes to all vehicles Service needs! Loved my salesman Denny Duong, he was a stellar car salesman. Not too pushy (which I loved, lots of salesman are very pushy and it makes me uncomfortable) but he was firm enough to keep me moving along with the car buying process.... I honestly didnt even plan on purchasing the car that day... I just wanted to test drive it and wait for a while then buy it but he sealed the deal for me lol. At the end of our deal he told us he had only been with the company for 2 months, had he not said that we wouldnt have even known, the guy is bursting with confidence and knowledge. Dylan Hobbs was my seller and he made the whole process an easy breeze for me. He worked out any kinks I had with my situation. This was my first time ever financing a car ever, so this whole process was Brand new to me. I had no credit at all and they literally made it to where I was able to walk out with the car I wanted only a couple hours later. Which to me was insane I always remember sitting in dealerships all day long with my dad. But with the whole teams help they really worked with me and made sure I was able to do it! Now I’m committed and I’m in love with this car. I have no more worries and my stress for buying a new car is gone. And of course my stress about breaking down every night is gone! I’m very satisfied and I would 10 out of 10 recommend.for any new time buyer or someone that doesn’t really have anything but job history. However, after posting this review, I got a call from Fatih, one of the sales managers personally apologizing for the bad experience I had. He really genuinely sounded sorry. He even offered to have the car detailed for me. I do genuinely feel much better about the experience now and I would consider using them again--although now I see that it is best to buy a car that you can actually lay hands on.READ ON FOR MY ORIGINAL ONE STAR REVIEW:I hate to do this, but it is only fair to leave honest critical feedback. There is nothing that I am saying here, that I wouldnt say to these guys in person. Everyone I dealt with at Team Gillman was courteous and friendly, and trying to be helpful, but there were just too many errors and too much frustration to overlook.So I was looking for a late model Subaru Outback to buy online/over the phone and pick up in Dallas while traveling. The first big mistake on the part of the sales guy Ramiro was a misleading me (probably unintentionally) into thinking that we could close this deal over the phone, relatively quickly, and do all of the signing online. That wasnt the case. Some signing was online but some things would need to be mailed to Dallas and then mailed back.At every level, there were mistakes and misunderstandings, from my address being misspelled to my bank account being charged, then credited and then having to wait for the funds to return before being able to get a cashiers check for the closing amount. Instead of taking a day or two to close the deal, as expected, it took 6 days to close the deal and get my car--and thats only because I ended up flying to Houston to do it in person.The moral of the story: Thank twice before trying to buy a car over the phone. Im sure these guys do lots of great work, but this was one experience I never hope to repeat.P.S. I do like the car and it was actually a pretty good deal in the current market. However, they did a lousy job with the interior detailing. There is still dog hair in the nooks and crannies and some sticky stuff on the center console.

This was our family’s 3rd purchase from this dealership, and they did not disappoint!We dealt with a salesman named Josh and he was extremely transparent and made everything super easy. Owned/Driving Subaru for 17 years now and purchased our 9th Subaru back 2019 Brand new 2019 Subaru Ascent @ Gillman Subaru Southwest but my Wife and I decided to take it to Gillman Subaru North for all recalls and Service maintenance. We thought its the same and It was fine in the beginning until today I received a call from the service department about our Subaru that was dropped off yesterday for a warranty repair that they failed to repair our Ascent the right way in the beginning and now the Problem is back. Now they dont wanna fixed their mistakes, I got to talked to the service Subaru service manager but they willing to loose a Loyal Subaru customer instead of doing the right thing … I wont be coming back for any Service and Sales to this Dealership .
Great sales, finance, and user experience team. They dont use pushy sales tactics, answer your questions directly without trying to make you make a quick decision, and they are very thorough and professional.
Absolutely incredible service. I have taken my car 3 times now for maintenance service and the staff is always so friendly. Left a review a couple months ago about how great they are, and I totally regret it .. I bought a truck June 10th and they were supposed to install a radio and rearview camera on it and it has been more than a month and still nothing about it being installed. Crazy thing is they already added it to my loan/ monthly payment !!!! I have reached out via email, text, call and corporate and STILL NOTHING . This is totally crazy to me, how am I being charged for something I havent even got installed and now nobody answers ??

Buyer be ware Im a finance manager me and my wife bought a car from here and the give me a bait and switch I live in arkansas drove 8 hours and they added 995 in accessories to the car told me if I did not want them they had someone else to buy the car so I did it. I told the finance manager I wanted warranty and gap I would do those two at 600 a month on 60 months. He said he had to go talk to his manager and came back and said he could do it we singed and they gave us a key usb with our papers. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING YOUR PAPERS THEN. He changed my term to 72 added nearly 2000 in stuff If I wanted to buy I would buy from the dealership I work at for cost I do the same job he does. He cost me nearly 10000 the car had a racing computer installed that they did not disclose it now needs a motor and the warranty wont cover it. I knew what to look for and the still go BE CAREFUL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU CAN

I live about an hour away from the Subaru North location, but found it not to be an issue since Ahnonny, Will, Ashley, and Nicole were so helpful and stayed in contact via phone calls, text, and emails as needed. They are a great team and made for an excellent car shopping experience. Ahnonny was our main point of contact. He was very professional, considerate, and thoughtful to our needs and really cared about us finding the right vehicle. He and Will worked hard to offer us the best deal possible. This place is trash!I rolled in there a while back and the sales person I spoke to was a complete more ran that didnt even know the models.What a complete joke not knowing that power seats are standard with the heated seats. I dont even get paid to know this, and clearly this joker doesnt either because I took my business elsewhere

I bought a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek at the tail end of January. This was my first car-buying experience, and it was amazing thanks to salesperson Stacey Camp! I initially reached out to the dealership via email - she was quick to answer all my questions. When I arrived at the dealership to test drive the vehicle, she made herself available and provided a thorough overview of the car. I could tell she knew all things Subaru, and this was confirmed when she mentioned she has worked in the Subaru world for many years.I cannot recommend working with Stacey enough. She will truly go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction with your vehicle and car-buying experience. She kept in touch with me after I left the dealership by sending me follow up messages confirming my satisfaction with the car (a nice personal touch). When I later noticed that my rear headrests were missing from the vehicle, Stacey worked with her manager to resolve this immediately. She even gave me a birthday call! I am very glad I chose this location to purchase my first car.
I was driving cross country and my outback started making noise as I drove through Houston. I was greeted by Paul Samra who was helpful and understanding of my situation. I thought there was an issue with my transmission, Paul checked for recalls immediately and discovered the noise I was hearing was related to my catalytic converter. I got the repairs done in a day (at not cost) and was on my way. When passing through Houston again, this will be the only place I take my car for maintenance.
First off huge shout out to Josh for making this whole thing happen. If you want someone who isnt going to really waste your time and isnt just a salesman but a fellow subaru enthusiast, Josh is your guy. My wife was in an accident at the beginning of this year. Well, after the body shop was done and the car was returned, my wife was noticing a noise and some vibrations occurring. There was more damage that what the body shop could see, so we were advised to take it to the dealership. It took the insurance a while to complete the repairs and now, after our rentals were all used up, we were down to needing a car again. Our insurance dropped the ball and was dragging out the process for over three months when I finally met Ray at Gillman Subaru. From that point on, EVERYTHING changed. I was treated like family. He was NOT willing to put up with his customer waiting this long and he immediately began working to get the insurance to come and do their job. When he learned that my wife and I were borrowing cars while waiting on the insurance to approve our repairs, he even offered a loaner to make sure that my wife had something safe to drive. He went so far above and beyond. He would call and make sure that I had a ride and he would also update me through every step. He advised me when to call the insurance so that we could all be on the same page and even communicated with his staff and supervisors to be aware of the situation and to be sure that everything that could go smoothly, would. Because of the direct actions of Mr. Ray at Gillman Subaru North, my wife and I (and many others that we have already gotten to purchase from here) will be customers for many years to come. For once in my life I can say that I trust a dealership. And I have never been able to say that before.

Incredible experience. I worked with Stacey Camp, who was fantastic throughout the entire process. During the winter storms, she called to check in on us, etc. Super straightforward purchasing experience. At no point did she upsale or pressure me. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. We will be repeat customers. If you’re looking for a Subaru, check out Gillman and ask for Stacey. A week after my purchase, there was a small issue with my Subaru. Sales and service took care of it and had me back on the road in no time.

Worst buying experience of my life. We found the car we wanted, filled out the paperwork, then the salesman came back and said it had already been sold! The dealership, no fault of the salesman, never took the car out of the pool of available cars. We had to go back to the lot and find another car. We were there a total of five hours! If I was just rating the salesman, it would be a 5 star. Mike Nelson was fantastic!

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. I have been to two different Gillman Subarus, and this one takes the cake. I usually always deal with Service advisor Glenn. Yes, service at the dealership can always be more expensive than other places, but at least you know your Subaru experts are on it. The waiting area is always clean, and staff is always responsive and considerate of their customers. They always have good refreshments. There is a cool big window in the waiting area that allows you to see their massive cool shop and the work being done on your car. I love being part of the Subaru family, and I can always trust this location to have not only my vehicle but my families best interests at hand

Didnt wanna write a review but maybe some one could benefit from this bought a used car a few months when I test drove it had a slight grind I thought could of just been the rotors they where rusty after a few days of driving the grind just got louder took it back the next week where they claimed they couldnt fix it because it must be a new problem because they just did brakes on it and everything was good and warranty didnt cover it turns out 2 wheel bearings where bad and all the brakes where worn down original oem brakes they hadnt done a thing to it judging by all the other 1 star reviews I shouldnt be surprised stay away unless you wanna get scammed

I spent several days communicating with a salesperson here about a specific car for which I researched considerably and wanted to buy. I live 4 hours a way in Louisiana from the dealership and I made sure she knew I intended to purchase the vehicle, in cash, if the test drive went well. I called her 4 hours before I made the drive to Houston with my friend. She said the car was still available. I reiterated that I was going to buy the car in cash if it drove well, then we left for Houston. As soon as we got there they told me they sold it! That is some shady dealing and abysmal customer service! Then the manager had the audacity to try to upsell me to newer cars. I will never EVER give this dealership my money and I will make sure everyone I know hears this story. Unfortunately, you cannot leave zero stars. Thats the only reason they received one.

Just drove home with my second car (Used Subaru Forester) purchased from Gillman Subaru North. Out of 12 or 13 prior car purchases, this is the best car dealer experience yet. The sales rep Ahnonny Nguyen was so helpful and incredibly nice. My wife did not even want to look at Subaru, but I told her to take a quick look based on my previous positive experience there. Ahnonny showed my wife 5 different models so she could compare and it was his great customer service that sold her and we did not need to go anywhere else. The paperwork process to finalize the deal was very smooth and the Finance rep Adnan Sanjak was also incredible. It felt like I was talking to a human who was actually trying to help me. Some previous finance experiences were more like a battle against an overly aggressive sales rep trying to pile on as many extra charges as possible. I will definitely return again in a couple of years when my daughter is ready for her first car.
AHONNY NGUYENI have been shopping for a vehicle for several weeks now and interfaced with more than a dozen or so salesmen. I was just about to give up based on some of the treatment from a few of these salesmen and decided to try Gillman. Ahonny Nguyen is one of the most courteous, respectful, and responsive car salesmen I have ever met. He singlehandedly turned three weeks of anguish into a pleasant experience. My sales rep, Angelique, went beyond expectations to get me the price I needed, the car was then delivered to my door in Mobile, AL as part of the purchase, and Stephen spent overtime with me on Zoom going over the many functions on the car. Finance Dept director is non responsive to phone calls and emails. so if you have a problem and need to speak with the finance director C. B., good luck trying to get ahold of him. I had an issue with my Gap insurance that was never removed at the beginning of my purchase as I had requested. And was told it would be taken care of over the phone in 2017. I tried to get it removed now in 2021, what the balance was left, even though I had been paying years from 2017 Thinking it was removed. And as today still no results no replies. The service dept is Great, but customer service pertaining to your finance acct is horrible.
Bought my truck from here and I dont know where to start. When i arrived i was greeted but waited a very long time to be able to see this truck. The salesperson was very bland and non talkative. He acted like he just didnt want to be there. When i decided i wanted to buy the truck the process went very fast, maybe a little too fast. Now they wont return my phone calls about my warranty that they screwed up. I would not recommend you buy any used vehicle from here. Im stranded without a vehicle because of their neglect.

We purchased a 2020 Subaru Outback from Gillman Subaru North in September of 2020. I can honestly say it was the most pleasant car-buying experience of my life (and I hate car shopping). Our salesman was knowledgeable in every aspect of the Subaru line. He was informative yet not pushy. The finance team worked diligently to get us the best rate (0%) and they gave us a fair price for our trade-in. I have no complaints. And can I add that we LOVE our Subaru! So much fun to drive.
