Nevertheless, would it be feasible to have copies of the items on the appropriate grocery isles at the entrance - laminated and a rack at the cashiers to return them? Im making a complaint about Marie london. Just defrauded me.Marie London is a fraudster. She likes to sweet talk people into believing she is legit. She promises heaven and earth but at the end of the day, it is all lies. My story is long but I have to make it short.She got me to pay her that she will give me 8 hours of class and live demo with a model but she never came through with that. She only gave me 3 hours before we were kicked out of the building.She claims that she pays for here in Houston. She promised me to have a model the next day and I kept calling her but she never showed up. She texted me the next day that her phone was acting up.Never try to book this woman for any classes because she is a fraud. If you decide to do so, make sure to collect your receipt on the spot. This woman collected $2,000 dollars from me knowing fully well she does not reside or have an office in Texas.My bad is that I did not collect my receipt from her after I paid because she is now lying that she sent it to my email. I was thrown out of the building she claimed, she paid for after 3 hours and she said she would complete the rest at my house the next day.She made me waste money to get a model, which we waited for her, and she never showed up. I have called her several times to finish my class but she refused to pick up. She never responded back to my calls and she later blocked me. I went back to the office building that she said she paid for only to be told that she does not own the office.Her reply to me was to wait for her lawyer. Wait for your lawyer for what? This is my sweat, the money that I worked for... I need my $2,000 dollars back. She is a fraud and smart talker that will make you believe everything she says.My advice to anyone trying to take classes from her is to use PAYPAL. Marie, come rain come shine, you must surely refund my money. You do not wake up and take peoples money just like that. Since you refused to give me my receipt, I have a bank statement from my bank and a police report.I will see you in Maryland. I promise you, I will surely find you. Fraud Master. Smart Talker. We met with a salesman from Anthony Sylvan Pools at the end of July 2020 and signed a contract and paid a deposit on August 7, 2020. At that time we were told “You will be swimming by October.” Then it changed to “You will be swimming by Christmas”, then it was “You will be swimming by April”. I am writing this at the end of May and we are still not swimming! We paid another deposit on 3/2/2021 and another on 3/17/2021. I can’t begin to tell you the lies, delays and incompetence we have dealt with from this company. The company blames the city of Pasadena for being “slow to issue the permits” but that was not true, someone dropped the ball and never went back to obtain the permits. Once they finally had the permits, we finally had a hole dug in our back yard. One entire area of my front yard has been demolished by their machines and the small grassy part that is left of our back yard has a 1 foot deep ditch running through it because the gas company nor Anthony Sylvan has filled it in and we were told not to. The gunite was finally poured, then the plumbers came out. They have failed 3 city inspections and when we met with the inspector he said that he has come out 3 times and 3 times the same 3 issues were not corrected, as a matter of fact on the third time they tried to hide the mistake! He said this is not unusual with this company, he has seen it before. My husband has been in touch with many people and is trying to get to someone higher up in the company to help us but no one will provide him a name or a number so is not working.. In the meantime, shortly after we had signed the papers, we recommended a friend to the same salesman. Our friend and his family have been swimming for almost 2 months now. This has been a miserable, stressful, horrendous experience. Every day for the last 10 months I get home from work and look at my backyard and want to cry. This should not happen to anyone and if I can save anyone from going through this I hope this does. Do not go with the first offer you get, check out the reviews on the company. So, everyone over 80 should know by now that the BBB is a scam. Im talking S.C.A.M. They claim to be non-profit and ask for donations, but I those donations arent tax-deductable. Why... Because the BBB is NOT A NON-PROFIT!Seriously, its a racket. And I will probably get sued for writing this, but I dont care!ANYONE can have a AAA+ rating with the BBB, they simply have to pay for it. It doesnt matter how much they resolve complaints- hell, look up 1800-FLOWERS, they have like 962 1 star reviews, and their a AAA+ company!The BBB makes most of their money from membership fees charged to businesses. This may be a couple of hundred dollars a month for a smal, local business, but what about bigger businesses?This is where the BBB works its magic, charging fees based on revenue - its evil genius - You pay me 2% of everything you make, and you are listed as a safe business. You dont, and well....we cant help you!On top of that, theyre primarily a lead-generator system. That contact info they keep asking for - thats going to be sold to the highest bidder when it comes time to do some work on your home. It doesnt matter what the businesss record is - in fact, most of the crappyest companies buy most of the leads!And theres a ton more, but that should be enough for you to not do business with them.The BBB is not there to go you, it exists the reason every company exists: to make money.Please dont do business with the BBB, theyre the mafia of the business world.

I wrote to the BBB in Houston to get some information about a company in their area. They BBB was referred to me by the Houston PD. At least the PD got back to me. This BBB didnt.I had my business in Indianapolis and was a member of the local BBB for 20 years and thought it served me well. I have to wonder how Houston BBB members feel about their association.I had an inquiry about Rhineland Arms in Spiceland, TX - suburb of Houston. This company had 1 complain filed so I thought the BBB would have a little more information or could get some addition over what they showed on their website.My guess is people in Houston are wasting their time joining this organization.

Pay for an “A”. Realize the Houston BBB does not work for the customer. They are in “business” for the businesses.They are NOT a government organization. It’s a business. They take money from small companies and big businesses.The more they pay the better the ratings. They will not approve complaints if they “feel” it’s not a good review. They ask the company for the approval from the company, possibly charging them to have a “complaint” removed. It’s been investigated.It’s bribery. It’s Corruption.

They will call you and try to get you to join their 600.00 membership.I have submitted 3 applications. They called and tried to sell me a membership. I declined. Still No listing submission. In addition they also called our business acting like a customer. Keep up the lies bbb and you will be landing in court.Notice the tone of the response. Instead of wanting to fix the problem. I would like to give 360 Realty & Property Management a round of applause because they have done an outstanding job. They moved me in as a tenant and I havent had any problems with them. They did everything in a fast timely manner. Ive been a tenant with them for fours now, they have been great to my family and I. I did put in maintenance request for them to fix something for me in one of my kids rooms. That day I got a call from them wanting more information so they can send someone out, and later that day it was fixed. They have such a fast response, and a very little wait time. I am very thankful for them having a fast response and helping me from the beginning.

The Better Business Bureau provides free services for small business as educational training how to promote had to submit proposals in the proper manner, litigation knowledge on proper contracts and the importance of obligation to customers. I recently had my roof replaced by Anderson Restoration and had an excellent experience. My sister and my parents homes were done by this company prior to mine so I decided to give them a try as well.They were professional, courteous, and timely from the time we first met to determine what needed to be done all the way to after all of the debris was cleaned up and payment was made.My roof looks great and I was very impressed with the post job cleanup. Macs Roofing is a company you can count on them doing what they say will happen, when its going to happen and fits into your schedule. From start to finish this group of professionals, showed up in a timely manner, did an incredible job, and I would recommend any residential home roofing needs. This team said they would start @ 8am, at 7:50am our doorbell rang, by 8:00am their army of reps were working hard and finished strong. Handy Andys Plumbing - Thanks for the recommendation for Handy Andy. Since I had to turn the main water off, this was an emergency. I literally called 4 plumbers (including 2 friends). The two friends declined to do the work, the third never returned my (emergency) call, and the 4th called me 2 days later, after I called Handy Andy Plumbing . Andy was out there the next morning, fixed the pipe, and charged me a fair price. He is a licensed Master Plumber, and he asked me several times to rate my satisfaction with his work. From now on, he will be my go-to plumber. Thanks, Andy!

I am making a complaint towards the Conns location on I-10 & Fry Road location is 20051 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77450. I purchased $4000 worth of merchandise from them May 2019. At the time of delivery, I did not notice the dents across the top of my $2000 refrigerator. I texted my sales person immediately the same day of delivery to let him know. I had to send pictures, they could not see them so the drivers came out to take the pictures. I have had a horrible experience trying to basically get a replacement refrigerator! The manager (if they exist) will not call me back and it has been a pure headache! I am an unsatisfied customer and will NEVER purchase anything else from Conns again! I advise anyone whos thinking about going to Conns DONT DO IT!!!!!! You will be sorry! Very Frustrated! I have a brand new home with a refrigerator that has dents in it! Ridiculous!

Blazer Real Estate Services that owns Brazos Senior Villas (ROSENBERG, TEXAS) is allowing the new property manager to retaliate, bully, and harass me because I use the amenities. She lacks customer service, rude, unprofessional and childish. I have turned in multiple complaints and they have NOT corrected her yet. When I turned in a complaint about my neighbors dog barking; front door locked at 10:20 am and no handicap accessibility (it opens at 10 am); no remote control in the fitness center because she has put it in her desk drawer; remote in the activity room missing; and then today she has locked the computer so that I do not have access to it. The very next day she tells me that I can not use the Craft Room (which I have been using for over 4 years) as an office space. I read in the Craft Room; but she is retaliating because she is half doing her job. She thinks she can control when and where I go (well thats not going to happen); this a senior facility; but I am very active and she thinks I am going to sit around in my apartment and not utilize the amenities (while the employees think they are at home). The housekeeper uses the computers more than we do (I have pictures). The housekeeper brings her daughter to the property to use the amenities; the floating property manager brings her son to use the amenities. I am confused....we pay rent and we are entitled to the amenities. Somebody forgot to read the lease agreement. Or the line has been moved? The property went from being a very quite and warm place to a very loud atmosphere and unprofessional staff on board. Lacks customer service! Seniors should not be treated this way.

The BBB now performs arbitration, ignoring the complaints by consumers and rules for reasons not claimed by the consumer.The purpose of the BBB has been undermined by the businesses that form its membership, and the BBB protects those members, having little or no interest in protecting the consumer from unscrupulous businesses.

I would not recommend Dish network under any circumstances. They lied to me about several different things. These included the ability to provide the NFL network, getting the same channels that I had in my package from Direct TV and the locations of the channels being the same as Direct TV for an elderly person we had in the house who would be able to adapt to a different remote and different locations for the channels that she watches.

As a business owner, we have received MANY, MANY positive reviews. Oddly, BBB erased more that 5 positive reviews posted by entirely happy customers. Instead, they chose to publish a bizarre, negative review that we responded in great detail to. BEWARE, BBB is often used by dishonest persons to shake-down honest companies. Not satisfied with the service provided by this organization, as a consumer. They just let the irresponsible business respond with some deflection why they dont want to do anything regarding the issue, without really making any constructive resolution proposal, make unreasonable demands from the consumer but not from the business, then close the complaint. The business gets to keep their A+ rating which becomes quite meaningless since they can avoid doing anything by responding while the public cannot see any details of most complaints and business responses. Not fair, not helpful for consumer, and not transparent.

They hound business owners to join and keep members in good standing regardless of the members business practices. The entire premise of being in good standing with the BBB is a myth, the good standing status is largely based on a business paying their annual dues to the BBB.

This organization is a scam. As a business owner they approach you to pay into their organization and if you dont then no matter how responsive you are when you get communication from them or how you respond if you have not paid then you get a C rating or less. As a consumer if you make a complaint against an organization that has paid to be an accredited member they immediately auto close it and file as informational only. Does it make sense that A+ accredited businesses with BBB are 1 star on Yelp? BBB is no longer what I would consider a trustworthy organization--at least not the Houston branch. Remember people this is a non profit rating organization whose obligation clearly is to its paying members and not the public. Google, yelp or any other review site that does not charge for the rating of their organizational members is likely a more trustworthy source. This organization is clearly outdated. Just our 2 cents

Still waiting for a refund from them after almost 2 months. You should earn the BBB Logo not have to pay for it. I tried calling them several times the week after I felt I was suppose to join. I finally reached a person over the phone that sounded like he would help but still no sign of a refund on my end. Very sad to see this happen especially with small business. BBB Houston has failed me as a consumer drastically. I believe they are more concerned on helping the business not to receive a negative review than they are with protecting consumers. Filing a complaint with the BBB Houston apparently serves no purpose any longer. What a disappointment. Helfman Ford cons and scams people as a BBB business and the BBB Houston helps them by closing cases out before theyve been resolved and not allowing you to file another complaint or review. The integrity of the BBB is over. You cant trust the company thats suppose to be protecting the consumer.

The complaint process is clearly stacked against the consumer in every way. The Houston BBB has a dispute resolution process which includes, a mediation and arbitration process that is officiated by volunteers that are reportedly unbiased and knowledgeable. This was not the case in my situation. I had 100% solid evidence in my dispute with a construction contractor. However, the arbitrator found in favor of the BBB business in the face of clear evidence and documentation. The opinion that was provided made little if any sense and further zero legal sense. I DO NOT RECOMMEND that any consumer utilize any part of the Houston BBB dispute resolution process. I lacked confidence in it from the start and should have followed my intuition to bypass the BBB and file a claim in small claims court.

Do not believe the reviews you see on this site. The consumers who write poor reviews will have their review suppressed as long as Company X disputes the review. I have posted a poor review of a company (Primo Hot Tubs and Spas) on Facebook, Yelp and Nextdoor only to find other consumers who have ordered and paid for spas and received NOTHING in return. Yet, the BBB of Houston, maintains a 4.8 star review of this thieving company. Shame on you!

I had a billing issue with Lovett Dental. I spent almost 6 months calling the office at least a dozen times trying to get the issue resolved. I finally sent both an e-mail and a letter outlining the problem, but I did not get a response. As a last resort to solve the issue in a friendly manner, I submitted my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I attached a full explanation of the issue with copies of the statements from the dentist office and the insurance company. In 2 days, I had a response, and in 5 days I had the refund I was due.I am very pleased that the Better Business Bureau allowed me to resolve the issue in a friendly manner without me having to contest the charge with the credit card company or going to small claims court. I think the Better Business Bureau is an important intermediary between consumers and local businesses.

This is the worst BBB branch I have ever dealt with. I have factual evidence that the branch just ignores. This gives me the feeling that the BBB is just corrupt, like everything else, and instead of protecting the consumer they actually work with Businesses to make sure they look good so they keep donating/paying the BBB for their A+ Ratings.

Dont ever use JACKS GLASS on kuykendahl. This company is totally dishonest. No one supervised the shower frame removal and when the installer came in to install he found a crack in the shower wall. You can see how they pulled the shower panel off and broke the outside calking from above the hole for the lower mount . Very obvious that during removal, remover tried to pull the old frame off, but he didnt have the glue cut totally loose from the lower screw hole area and forced it until he heard the crack. Then he cut the glue properly and removed it. He instantly disappeared while we were talking to the installer in the master bath. If the crack was there he would have come over and said something. He knew he pulled the caulking away and cracked the wall then disappeared. The installer gave me more excuses about how it was there when installed. Totally a cover up or both walls would have had the same damage when removed and one wall is fine. The installer told me and my wife that the removal guy had damaged other removals and now says he never said that. The owner John Klien told me twice he was coming to look at the door but never showed and sent the lying installer back with more BS.

This place is nothing but a bluff! I have been trying to get a resolution regarding a shady mechanic that took my money, and practically run. So I called this BBB. Since October 2017 nothing is being resolve. I called and left messages and only one person returned my call in January 9, and left me a phone number that is only voice mail. I called again this week and ask for the supervisor (Carolina) which tuned out to be in a very ugly mood. I asked for her name to know who I was speaking with and she took it totally wrong as (interrogation). During the phone conversation I asked her, that seems that I called her at the wrong time because she sounded irritated. She told me that I had called at her lunch time, like if I knew she was at lunch? I told her that she had a horrible attitude and then, she went off on me. I could even feel her irritation blowing off my ears. I told her that, she had a horrible attitude and that I will complain about the way she treated me. She said that it is ok. She even spelled her full name to me (Patricia Patricolet, supervisor) I think that her supervisory skills needs some retraining. Also she is definitely not a peoples person. She lacks professionalism and genuine care for people. she totally is in the wrong job of customer service! sadly the BBB is to place complains about unfairness business transactions and shady unscrupulous business people. Yet ironically, now I am complaining about the BBB lack of professionalism and consumers care! :( :( I am sock and in disbelief... people are in the wrong professions with the wrong skills and with poor training... sad... I know now that the BBB will retaliate about helping me. But again, they never helped me anyways.... unfortunately I have to click to at least one star in order to post my comment... :(

Hmmmmm....When a company pays to subscribe to be a BBB member I guess that is what makes BBB a scam. Or maybe it is the fact that in order for a business to be credited with the BBB they have to be a paying member? Hold on! Those are the same! YOU have to pay as a business to have the BBB side with you over the CONSUMER! Seems legit. Makes sense the consumer really has no representation in that relationship.

Exclusive furniture, going on 2 months now and still have not received my UNDAMAGED FURNITURE. The store blames the warehouse, and the warehouse will blame the store. They wont call you back as promised. They take your money and could care less on if or when you get your furniture. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Fitz Roofing of Tomball did a wonderful job doing repairs on our roof that had leaks from the flood. They came out to inspect and did the job within a few days. No one can tell we had shingles replaced.

Our company vehicle was parked in the parking lot overnight. Our stays are based on whether or not a hotel has surveillance for the parking lot, which the Bear Creek Inn claims to provide. Sure enough, our vehicle was damaged in their parking lot. I called for several weeks to have management view surveillance and was given the run around by the front desk on why it was taking so long. I never received any calls back, after leaving many messages for the owner Aaron Patel or Mike Patel. Horrible customer service. Once they had my money, they refused to give me the courtesy of a call back. I also believe the false claim of providing surveillance is extremely inappropriate. I dont mind if nothing was captured, but that was not the case here. I was simply ignored and left no choice but to file a review with the BBB. After reading posts from other unhappy customers, it looks like customer service, cleanliness and safety are not a priority for this hotel.

I can only review the BBB based on their solicitation of my business to become a member of their service.i was called in late November by a rep whos name I cannot recall. She explained that the BBB would like to invite my business to become a member and that she would like to conduct a 10 minute interview first.I explained that due to the fact that I was rushing to get my new business open, it would be better for her to call me back in January-after Christmas.She explained that the interview would only take 10 minutes. I reiterated that I was incredibly busy (and migrainal) and that January would be better.This clearly was not acceptable and her final statement before hanging up the phone was, I guess we might call you back if we ever decide to extend you an invitation again. Click.Thus, my choice was to either give her the 10 minute phone interview immediately, with no prior notice whatsoever of any invitation, or forget it.This 3 minute exchange has unfortunately completely changed my view of the BBB. I have a feeling that her attitude was based on the fact that the rapidly changing business environment brought on by the Internet is rendering the BBB a relic - another victim of progress.I feel her pain, however, its not an excuse for being so rude.

I read the reviews here and thought they could not possibly be true. They are! I made a complaint. The business made NO effort to resolve it. But the BBB-Houston pronounced that there was a good faith effort. Maybe the whole institution is not a fraud, but the BBB is a scam as far as I can tell from my dealings. In the grand scheme of things a two month delay in going to court wont be the end of the world, but still sad that the BBB has become inept.

The man from ViperTech performing the service shattered the beautiful window in my front door. When I called the owner of ViperTech he asked me if I had video of it happening, or if I had any way of proving it. There was nothing wrong with the door before they came, but he wont do anything about the glass replacement without a video. I sent him pictures of the damage to my door. I feel insulted by him insinuating that I was lying. I have better things to do with my time than accuse someone of something they didnt do. It is costing me $450 to replace the glass in my door as it is tempered glass. Please, please, please do not use this company. Beware of this company!

Two years ago, one person/company owed me some money, I was trying to get the money back, since I had all the paperwork and evidences, I thought BBB would help to resolve it. Since the other side was a paid member of BBB, during the mediation process, the BBB in Galleria at Sam Houston Pkwy, used a mediation procedural step that I was not aware, quickly finished the process, even I presented a mountain of evidences, signature of the other side, and derogatory emails and so forth of the other side, the other company did not get forced to pay, did not affect its BBB rating, only noting the company in BBB listing: has dispute with a customer, and a collection is in process. Sham on Houston BBB!!!

THIS REVIEW IS WITH REGARD TO RICHARD PIERCE DBA LONESTAR STATE GUTTERS. Mr. Pierce came out and gave us an estimate for gutters on our house. We called him 3 weeks later to accept the proposal (which he had already misplaced). He asked for $200 up front so we wrote the check to Lonestar State Gutters. He asked us to re-write the check to him personally for the $200 which we unfortunately did. This happened on November 1, 2016 and then he immediately vanished. We tried calling him for almost 2 weeks. We left messages that werent returned. It was only after my husband posted a bad review with the Better Business Bureau that he called us back and offered to refund our money. He told us the check was in the mail (Houston to Humble, TX) 3 weeks ago. This man is very dishonest and is a thief. I called again a few days ago and spoke to someone in his office named Ralph who said he would check on the refund and get back with me. We are planning to seek an attorney. Its not a lot of money, but after reading other similar reviews, this man needs to be stopped.Vivian S.Humble, Texas
