I am not one to take time out of my day to review a place of business. Youll see this is the first time I am doing so. After interviewing with this company yesterday I felt compelled to share my experience. I was recently laid off and given zero notice that mass lay offs were about to occur. I have to say, Ive been interviewing frequently and this was the first interview that I genuinely felt like a person not a number. I was immediately welcomed by the receptionist who took the time to get up from behind her desk to stand up to shake my hand. Upon arriving, I noticed the office was extremely diverse, more than any company I have previously interviewed, which may seem like a small thing to many, but fosters a more welcoming environment. My interview was one on one with the business owner. He suggested we grab a coffee in a more relaxed setting. It felt amazing that a company was willing to spend money on me right out of the gate. The owner was professional and friendly. I didnt feel like I was being interrogated but actually received sincere appreciation for my educational background and work experience. Ironically we both graduated with Marketing Management degrees. Needless to say I felt immediate Camaraderie. All in all this was the best interview I have had thus far this week. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me. I appreciated the genuineness of your company.
Theyre in-store sales for a major internet company -- some of the language used didnt make it clear up-front. I just wanted to make sure people know what they do, since their interview process is a bit long. The staff is very nice though and called back for feedback on the interview/recruitment process. Definitely conscientious of future employees.
Very professional staff.
