UPDATE! 10/02This company still has not corrected the bad work done by their contractors.Customer service gave me the run around.Do not use this company!!!My elderly parents contacted them to remodel the only bathroom in the older home they live in. After multiple delays a worker finally came and started work, but left and didn’t return for another week. Shoddy, horrible, unprofessional work!!My dad is a 91yr old Korean War veteran. This is how this disgusting company treats our most valuable veterans??Photos to show how unprofessional this job was conducted.

Tommy and Doug did our design consultation today for second bathroom shower remodel. We had a good feeling from the get go. Both was helpful throughout the process. The visit was suppose to be 90 min long but they stayed over 2 hours because they were so personable and easy to talk to. They listened to what mattered to us and did not push for anything we didn’t want. We are pleased with the price we were given and cant wait to get started.

Working with Statewide Remodeling has been a total nightmare. My partial bath remodel was supposed to take 20 days--its been almost 2 months and its still not done. The work that has been done is shoddy! I could have done better by picking up workers from the Home Depot parking lot!I cant get any real answers as to when theyre coming back to complete the job. All I get is lies and excuses. At this point Im ready to call a reputable company to come in and finish the job! I wouldnt recommend these people to my worst enemy!!

So far I’m very impressed with the professionalism and quality staff working with Statewide Remodeling. Forest came into our home in a timely, professional manner and met with my husband and I concerning a remodel on our master walk in shower. He spent at least 3 hours with us talking about the commercial grade material to be used, design w/samples to look through and he left us a final price which included a discount! We are satisfied with our choosing! Looking forward to the start of the project.

Tommy and Elliot came to our newly purchased house and spent almost three hours with us. They reviewed options with us and explained in detail about the material that would be used, installation process and follow ups. While we were initially hesitant about the price, with their explanation, we felt confident about our purchase and feeling that we would be in good hands. Both of them were prompt, professional, yet friendly. They were knowledgeable and were very proud of their company. We were satisfied with our inquiry and looking forward to seeing our remodeled bathroom.

I am just now starting the process, and so far am very impressed! I met with the sales rep today (James Ross). He was on time, professional, and very thorough. He explained everything in great detail, and had many samples with him for viewing. He also explained they use commercial grade products (compared to builder grade), and has a 20 year warranty. Cant beat that! Looking forward for the project to start!!!

Statewide took my 50 year old shower in my condominium and turned it into a huge walk in shower that looks amazing, and they did the job quickly, professionally, and most importantly correctly! Statewide was very careful to keep the mess down to a minimum and they did the work as quietly as possible, something very important while working in a condominium complex! The installer Jose was incredible! He was super courteous and did a fantastic job!

We hired Statewide Remodeling to install a wall-in bath tub. Our salesman, Samson Montoya, was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time with us to make sure we got all of the features we requested and explained the scope of work involved to get the job. The tub we ordered had several more features than I anticipated. We are looking forward to our new walk-in tub!

I was very pleased with the quality of the windows. The service was fantastic. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable. As we requested Mr.Miles called 40 minutes before coming to see us and made it to our appointment 15 minutes early. Very courteous and looked very interested in talking to us. He answered all our questions and was vey knowledgeable about what he came to talk to us about. He knew what he can offer us in regards to financing and discounts.

He spent almost 2 hours with us and took his time to show us all the best options for our project. He is attentive, personable and very detail oriented. I met with Jeff B. for a consultation to convert my master bath from a tub/shower combo to a walk in shower. He was very professional, friendly and down to earth. He took the time to get to know my personality/style, needs, and expectations in a remodel. He didnt try to up-sell me, and changed things to work with me to fit the remodel to my budget. I have had some renovation nightmares in the past, and had cold feet going into the consultation. I felt comfortable at the end of the consultation and decided to trust they would deliver what they promised. I will update my review once the work is completed!

I would like to comment on all of the great reviews that statewide is so great which is not true. I have pictures that are showing how much of a poor job and quality they did and not even finish the job correctely as far I can tell now statewide is trying to get the finance company to get my husband to finish the paperwork and that is wrong. DO NOT GET STATEWIDE IN HOUSTON TO DO ANY REMODELING THEY DO NOT FINISH THE JOB RIGHT………..

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience getting a free quote, design advice, and financing help from Jeff. He handled all our questions patiently and meticulously explained how the installation process would go. One particular thing that really impressed me, at least compared to other places like Bath Planet, was the idea that he didn’t push one product and forget all the others. He listened (and looked at my Pinterest pictures) and was able to meet us halfway with his design suggestions. Another plus was his sense of humor—my husband and I were both relaxed with him and didn’t feel like we were dealing with a pushy personality. I would highly recommend Statewide Renovations, and even more specifically, Jeff!

My experience SWR was a good one. I like the fact they completed the job requested on time.I semi- remodeled the master bath. The whirlpool tub removed as well as the standing shower. In its place a walk-in tub was installed.Thank you SWR!

So far not a good experience with this company. If you are considering using this company be prepared to wait a few days in between crews. We are doing a partial remodel of our guest and master baths. These are not big rooms by the way. They demoed our guest bath on July 8, 2021, the plumbers were to come out the next day to do their part, they never came. Then were to come out on Monday, July 12, 2021 but again did not show up. Finally around 4:00 p.m. on July 13, 2021 the plumbers came and did their part and now nothing. Still waiting. It has not been seven days since this project started. Just to let you know how long it took the demo and the plumbers it was all of 4 hours. So here we are seven days later with what could have been done in a couple of days. Rewiring the whole house and replumbing the whole house took less than a day each time and here we are seven days later without the guest bathroom.

This company is not as professional as they would like you to seem. I had held off writing my review for a few years in hopes that we had a mediocre experience out of bad luck. Firstly, the cost of their services are high. Youre told that the techs are all contracted/background checked but several people that entered our home had nothing to do with Statewide. We had about 3x where due to their incompetence our water leaks happened through the story below. One time included when their plumber didnt properly tighten the sink drain after installing cabinets. There was always issue after issue. The only good thing about the remodeling process was that there was a field manager who would try to explain everything since the techs themselves may not be able to communicate everything.The reason I decided to write the review finally was that we realized recently that they hadnt given us all the warranty/LOT info information like they said they would. Neither have they kept records in their customer service dept. I need the warranty and lot info for my tub and it took them 3 months of me badgering before that gave me just the model of my tub.

Three times they rescheduled our appointment without letting us know. They hardly ever call but if they no it’s someone in some scheduling or some nonsense that cannot do anything. They say someone will call but no one does. We are trying to get our money back. Terrible, useless. Then man who originally sold us on two bathroom Remodeling’s no longer works for them snd has apologized for selling lid on this useless company

My recent experience with Statewide Remodeling was amazing! I had the bathroom of my 1920s Galveston home remodeled. So of course, I was very nervous what they would find after demo. The workers were on time, friendly, and answered all my questions. The project manager Steve was there everyday when major work was done. He kept me posted of the progress/set-backs, and he answered all my calls promptly, no matter what time of day, (or night). If youve ever watched HGTV, you know that surprises are found beneath most projects. Steve and Statewide worked with me for solutions at every turn. With Statewide, I didnt have to worry about whether they could complete the project. After Steve found moisture at the window, he determined that the window needed to be replaced, which meant cutting the exterior brick. Im sure the window installer saw the concern in my expression and told me, dont worry. This is what we do! My bathroom is beautiful. Thank you Steve and Statewide!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this company. I would not recommend to use.Hired to complete a bathroom remodel. installed the wrong sink 3 times. installed the countertop incorrectly twice. This project was supposed to be finished before the pandemic, but because of installing incorrect counter top and incorrect sink a 3 week project has turned into a year and a half project. Project Manager and Managers of the office are not professional. Stated they were going to show up and did not. After we had to change what we had originally ordered (agreed on contract) was told was going to be finished yesterday. And it was not. Please think long and hard before trusting this company for your remodeling needs.

Statewide Remodeling of Home Depot finished a complete remodel of our master bathroom this past November 2020. I would highly recommend them. I hired three contractors in the fall to complete three different projects and Statewide Remodeling was the most organized and straightforward by far. Elliott and Greg came out in mid-September to spec the job and after four hours we had a whole plan - tile selected and everything. I had been planning a remodel for awhile and that helped with the decision making. Pictures are super important. I paid some money down, @30%. We had a rough idea of a date to start (mid-October) and it ended up being a week or so later than what we said, but I expected that from the other contractors Ive worked with. They gutted the tub, shower, floor and vanities, as well as a vanity corner. They replaced sheetrock and enlarged the door area to accommodate some antique doors I bought. They replaced the tub and shower with a large tiled walk-in shower and dry area. Brian and his crew of Desi, G1 and son were super professional. They were polite and neat and arrived when they said they would each day. They worked my job until it was done. That a was awesome! And Brian was constantly checking in with me and showing up to check the crews work. Of course things came up, like they did in all three projects that fall, but the difference was that Brian and crew really wanted to make me happy with the experience and outcome. I tried to be a good customer as well and strove to be involved from the beginning, asking questions and checking in multiple times a day. We were able to work things out and I was happy. If this had been my first experience with contractors I wouldve been surprised at how many decisions come up ALL. DAY. LONG., but I wasnt and was fully committed to the time as well. I added a couple of details and paid extra for that, but that was fair. The price I felt was fair as well. 32K I bought the vanity, lights, faucets, shower hardware and glass wall separately. UPDATE (08/16) WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Tommy and Sam were great. It was the pre-construction team and construction team who are not recommended. The construction timeline was not accurate. The demo took place and then no one was scheduled for a week. I ended up calling their customer service line in Dallas. They worked diligently to get a plumber to my home to complete that portion. I was assured it would take no more than 7 days. Today is day 7 and the only items complete are the tub, acrylic and some sheetrock. The installation of the vanity, two sinks, some sheetrock, mud, texture, paint, mirror and no one is scheduled. They were supposed to work on Saturday, so I rearranged my entire weekend to ensure they had access to my home. But no one showed up and no one showed up for Monday.Perhaps in other locations around Texas, they are good. I would not recommend them if you live in Houston.ORIGINAL POST:Today, I met with Tommy and Sam to discuss a bathroom renovation. I was apprehensive, at first. I really dont like dealing with contractors. After going through the process of what needs to be done, I am confident that Statewide Remodeling will do a great job. (I will post another review once completed). Sam and Tommy were very professional and thorough. They addressed my concerns and walked me through the ups and downs of a project like mine. I am confident they will ensure the project turns out perfect. I cant wait for my new bathroom.

So far the service have been horrible. I would not recommend. They were quick to send a sales rep out for a consultation. After I signed the paper work in MAY, I heard nothing for about two weeks. I called to ask about status and was told there were action items I needed to take care of before they would proceed. No one made me aware of this, and had I not called, Id probably still be waiting.After we worked those action items out, the contract had to be updated. I asked the Sales Rep i had been working with for the updated contract several times and still have not received it. The sales rep has just completely abandoned me. Two months after I signed the contract and did not hear anything for about a month, I asked the rep to talk about canceling the deal. His response was along the lines of thats fine, you dont get your deposit back. That was the last thing I ever heard from him, that was on July 2nd.Since then, I have just been calling the office directly. Any time I ask them to call me on a date to give me an update they never do. I called Monday July 12th to get an update since no one called me on the 9th like I requested, and was told the last of my product came in. I appreciate that they wait until all product has arrived so they can take care of the project quickly, but I feel had I not been calling, they would have never let me know. I was told someone would call me on the 14th to set up a service date, however, surprise surprise, no one called me.The workers will arrive next week on the 22nd and I hope the back end of this experience make up for the front end. At this point, i would highly encourage anyone looking for work to be done not come to Statewide Remodeling, or go through Home Depots services. That is how i got stuck with this company.

In the middle of doing battle right now. Multiple missed appointments, and still can not get a plumber to fix the hot water issue. Will probably end up using a reputable plumber to fix hot water issue and withhold the cost from final dollar amount. Do not think that I will ever be using them again and most certainly will not be recommending them either.

Here is my story. I set up a meeting for replacing the tile in my bathroom and painting. I also set up for a new front door. Bathroom was supposed to be done in 2 to 4 weeks and door within 8 weeks. Paid my deposit and never heard from anyone for 8 weeks. Finally get a call. All of you things are in and we are ready to start. Superintendent called the next morning and came over. This is on a Thursday. They planned to take out the old floor that day, tile on Friday and grout on Saturday. Paint and finalize on Monday. Friday morning no one showed so I called. They were waiting for the installer I am told. I had previously told them I had company coming the next Thursday and they said all would be done by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. He calls back and said he can’t make it. I said what about Saturday. Well I will check. Calls back no but be there early Monday morning. I reminded him of my company coming. Now it’s Monday morning no one shows so I call again. Now they tell me it’s Home Depot’s fault my tile isn’t in even though last week they were ready because all was in. They have torn up my bathroom taken out the toilet and now it’s going to be Wednesday and nothing is done. I have company coming Thursday! Why did they tear up my perfectly good bathroom to leave me stranded without one with guests coming. I would gladly have waited until after my company had left. I have been lied to, left without a bathroom and still have no answers and still no bathroom. Shame on you for the total lack of customer service and inept crew. At this point I would like my deposit back and hire someone else who is capable of doing the job. What a nightmare!

We ordered (and PAID for) 11 windows but only 10 were installed when the 11th window was incorrectly made. After THREE MONTHS statewide is STILL unable to give us an update on our window. There has been no escalation, no concern, no desire to resolve the situation -- no responses from the company and NO REFUND for the missing window We have 20+ more windows to do in our home and now need to find an alternate company to complete the job. Very disappointing!

I would never use this place for remodeling. I was given a presentation and asked if I would like to have a rep come out and sit with my husband and I to purchase new Windows. The salesperson never showed up even after I got off work early to sit with them. Then hours later I finally got a call advising he had the wrong information and to call the call center to setup another appointment. I did that. 25 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment, I received a call from Mallory that the salesperson/ technician was at another home for 2 hours then learned that family was “sick” so the salesperson/technician may be “sick” also. I stayed on the phone with Mallory and answered questions, and advised we would also like a quote on a bathroom remodel as well. Mallory puts all of our conversation in the notes then makes a remark to the affect of, “we only want serious people.” 😐 where in our conversation did I indicate I was not serious? Then Mallory goes off the deep end regarding how she was so angry at the guys at Home Depot when during the conversation I mentioned a bonus. I never got that from anyone at Home Depot— I advised her I had no clue to as to what she was speaking; but David, who answered the call when the first salesperson/technician stood us up mentioned that during our conversation. Mallory then scheduled another appointment and this time would have a salesperson/ technician for windows and bathrooms come out simultaneously. I advised I was not sure of a time as twice previously we were stood up. Mallory advised they had 2p and 6p available. So I asked her to put down 6p and I would call her the next day to confirm the time. I left a detailed voicemail we would prefer 2p when I called and no one answered. The next day I received a call from an elderly sounding woman and advised her we would prefer 2p if still available. She advised it was and we were all set for 2p on Saturday. Our appointment was for 2p on the Saturday and at 1:18p I received a call from Mallory the salesperson/technician “had an accident.” I advised while I truly hate the person had an “accident,” we have been stood up 3 times now and this was the 4th time we would be rescheduling. Mallory clicked around and said, “yes I see here you are correct!” Then Mallory said she was looking and all of the notes she left previously were gone. Mallory said she would contact someone in Houston to come out that Saturday and call me back. I heard nothing until Monday morning at 9a when Mark called to reschedule. I advised Mark, “ NO THANK YOU!” I was very polite in all instances. I also advised Mark if it took all of this to get a quote, what in the heck would happen during the job?! Further, my husband advised we are the customers and should NEVER have to hunt a business down for service. There are too many companies from which we can choose. Again, thanks but No thanks!! Our time was wasted and we were NOT VALUED as customers.

So far, my family and I are very pleased with this company. Mark came out to do the estimate. He was extremely professional, and very personable. He has definitely gone the extra mile to make sure everything is set up properly, and also has a very fast response time. About a week after mark came out, another man named Pat came to get precise window measurements. He was very polite and took the time to make sure the measurements were correct. We are super excited about getting these windows put in. So far though, customer service has been wonderful, and really like the product. Will provide an update after installation, but I highly recommend them.

Had an appointment for a quote at 2pm today. By 230 no one was here. I called the company. While on hold I received a call asking me the same questions I had been asked before regarding what I wanted to do with my bathroom. I told her I had an appointment with you guys at 2 and no one has came and was actually on the other line trying to see what was happening. She looked and stated that it was cancelled and apologized for not being notified. She then asked what my budget was. I told her that what I wanted and what I thought it would be around, 7k. She did a small laugh and stated that they use high end material and they would be out of my price range. She then suggested I look at the BBB and reach out to someone there. Very unprofessional. When I made the original appointment they told me the other homeowners would have to be there (I told them I was the only homeowner). I have read in other reviews that a wife had to wait for husband to be present to make an appointment so Im know wondering if my appointment was cancelled cause I am a female?

I ordered custom windows in October 2020 and I still do not have the windows. Statewide scheduled three different installation dates and called me the day when the installs were supposed to happen and cancelled. The fourth installation date that was scheduled the crew showed up with the wrong windows. The windows had to be reordered and I am still waiting. This is after taking off work for each cancelled installation, moving furniture each time and listening to their excuses as to why they cannot deliver good customer service. I escalated the issue to the regional manager and still no follow through. I was told my new order would be expedited, but that has been since the day before Thanksgiving! I DO NOT recommend using Statewide. On top of all of these issues, they are unresponsive and deliver very poor customer service. Sams Club ( a company that prides itself on a positive customer experience) needs to discontinue their contract with them.

We had our shower replaced and flooring in our master done in 2016. They did good work, but now our shower door won’t close properly. I called customer service and they got someone within a week. He showed up, but my wife was running late from a dr. Appt. He left his card, and when my wife called him back, he hung up on her 3 times and quit answering his phone afterwards. I have been trying to get a hold of someone in the warranty dept for about 6 weeks now, have left multiple vm and on FB messenger no one has contacted me. This will make me not use them in the future.

First off, horrible in communication. Had my shower replaced during Thanksgiving week. After noticing a few issues, Im still waiting on someone to come and do something about it. I realized this is ther last few days going into the holidays, however I am 4 weeks into not having a shower because Im not gonna put the glass doors up until the issues have been resolved. Seems like once Ive paid, I am no longer a priority. My ratings will remain a 1 out of 5 until I get some closure/customer service.

The team did a fantastic job of installing my walk-in tub. They were their mask and clean up everything behind themselves. The manager explained how the tub works before he left. If we need remodeling I will definitely call them.

The crew that was sent to me installed the windows in one day. Instead of two. Yeehaa! They cleaned up everything and put all. The furniture back in its place.Statewide had told me that they would not need to be inside and move any furniture but the crew moved all furniture and returned it in its place. That is the only thing that didnt give them 5 stars. And the windows are great

Home Depot referred as to them, a sales rep came two days later. Their prices are extremely overpriced they quoted us almost $16,000 NOT for a full bathroom remodel but ONLY for replacing a (standard size 30×60 inch) walk-in shower - not even including the glass door! Save your time and money you can find reputable contractors that will do it for way less. Of course they make it seem like they are the only ones who can do it and it will be a nightmare with anyone else. Do your research they are good contractors out there. Dont waist your time setting an appointment with them at Home Depot.

Houston’s office is the worst. They send a cast of characters various different smaller contractors. Their service is horrible when it comes to the scheduler and the installers. Do more research and you will not be using these guys

This company exceeded my expectations for my request of an ADA shower to best fit my needs. The workers were respectful and worked efficiently. Even if we had questions or something needed to be adjusted Ms. Naydyd Velasquez (project coordinator) made sure things were done in a timely manner with consistent communication. I highly recommend this company for anyone especially the disabled community needing appropriate accommodations to fit your needs. Job well done! Look forward to doing business with you again.

Finished product was great, but there was a pretty terrible lack of communication. I was not usually told when people would be arriving. Maybe the first day, but not subsequent days. I was told they would be there for 8 hour days but the workers usually arrived around 11-12 and left before 515. SW also offered to with on Saturdays to finish the projects quicker. But but times there was a Saturday to work no one showed and there was no communication that they wouldnt be working. One of our bathrooms had a hole rotted in the subfloor (obviously not SWs fault) but I was not told about this prior to arriving home. I discovered it on my own. There was also confusion on financing. SW tried to make us pay for everything even though even though we had financed one bathroom with their in house financer. So basically terrible, terrible communication but I love the way my bathrooms look. The product is the only reason they are getting two stars rather than 1.

Extremely overpriced, shady high pressure sales tactics, limited design options, disingenuous pricing that isnt realistic (like $100 for a carton of subway tile 🙄), with no transparency on cost of materials or labor (or even the expectation of getting one), and overall looks to take advantage of people who dont do research or know better by flashing proprietary materials and other snake oil tactics. If you are wondering why they have good reviews, they offer potential customers to drop prices on their remodel is they post positive reviews. Expect to pay 3 to 6 times what an average (even for high end) remodels. I also suspect the majority of their reviews are fake or created by their sales and marketing teams. Do not trust this vendor.

Our recent experience with Statewide Remodeling to update our master bath shower went smoothly. From the first meeting with Elliot who listened to our plans and helped to make all the decision in the first visit was great. Dealing with office contact making sure I was informed on the status of our materials and to the project manager was smooth, professional and efficient. The actual work was done professionally, efficiently and timely. Gilberto our installer was awesome in his care for his trade and the results are stunning. i would recommend Statewide Remodeling to anyone.
