Desmond at Hestia was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very professional and responsive. He addressed questions and concerns quickly and was always polite and courteous. Desmond was a true problem solver, thinking through the best and most efficient was to resolve issues that came up. He helped our project move quickly and kept a handle on the extensive list of projects our renovation required. We have heard horror stories about renovations but working with Desmond has been nothing but a blessing. We will recommend anyone to Hestia going forward!

Hestia was the renovation company I choose to remodel and update my kitchen and living areas. I found working with the renovation specialist, Michael, and the whole team of designers, project managers and support staff as a very positive experience. Should I need more improvements, I will definitely be giving them a call for my next project.

I gave them 2 stars rather than 1 in hopes you will read this. Start date was repeatedly postponed a month with no notice of the postponement unless I called. When they finally started it took them 2 months to finish an 8 x 10 bathroom. It was a common occurrence for us to be told people were going to be working the next day, wed pack everything up (we work from home and had a 10 month old at the time) and no one would show up. It was up to me to police the quality of their work, since the project manager was MIA most of the time. To date (6 months later) they have yet to finish all the punch list items and the vent installed still doesnt work.

Called in to get an estimate on a home renovation. Was the most straightforward and most responsive of the 10+ vendors I had called for estimation.Hoping the estimates and the renovation are equally top-notch.

I have been working with Lacy Van Hoose of Hestia for over a year due to several issues that cropped up along the way. None of their doing. With Austin booming, permits have taken forever to get. But along the way Lacy has kept me up to date with everything and has been kind, professional and respectful.

Design and installation went really well. Even though we were working during the beginning of COVID, items arrived timely and everything was completed on time. Six months later I had some issues with leaks, and Eli and Hestia were able to get repairs completed in a timely manner.

Working with Desmond from Hestia has been great. He always make sure invoices are in and paid on time. He always answers when I have questions about the scope of work to mitigate any delays.

We have completed several remodels over the years and never thought we would find a company we would be willing to refer to others, but we did! Hestia completed our master bathroom remodel about a month ago and it has turned our beautiful. We are looking forward to the next one!

Design and architecture phase has been professional.

From the time that work commenced on our master bath remodel, the following issues were noted:Hestia collected 50% of the total contract amount up front and after demolition there were weeks with almost no progress. They continued to ask for subsequent checks despite days/weeks without any work being done. They then refused to perform any more work without further payment. We accommodated their payment schedule as we were left with no other options at that point.When we signed the contract, they guaranteed work to be completed by 6-8 weeks. We had to fire them after 12 weeks when work was still not complete and not progressing.2 separate subcontractors told us they had to cease work because Hestia would not pay them. One sub collected his tools and left the job for good.Frequently, the project manager (Eli Olivas) and Director of Operations (Brian Menn) would not return phone calls. They gave numerous conflicting excuses for lack of progress.Work halted more than once due to failure to order enough materials. Floor tile had to be ordered on 3 separate occasions. Shower tile had to be ordered twice.Hestia refused to fix mistakes/poor workmanship (“not in the budget/contract”). Several examples: Shower cut out tiles incorrectly installed. Floor tile incorrectly installed. Surfaces not sanded or cleaned before painting.Plumbing supplier threatened lien on our house via certified letter due to nonpayment.Work completely halted until we threatened legal action.We had to change the locks on our home because Hestia lost a copy of our house key.There were many more problems but we will leave it at that. I rarely post bad reviews and dont like to smear any person or business publicly. However, I feel a moral obligation to spare others from this terrible experience.In summary, this has been the worst customer service we have ever experienced.

Great experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and use again. Jesse made sure all questions and issues were addressed and provided us with detailed, easy to understand quotes. Before any work started, every item of the project was addressed with us and the project manager, Brian. We all left with an understanding of the scope of work. Once work started, the project was very well run and was completed much quicker than anticipated. We lived in the home while our kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room were all under construction, and all the workers were extremely courteous and kept the home clean and tidy. At the end of each day, the home was cleaned and they made sure we were happy with how they were leaving the home. Brian was very professional and easy to work with. He would always answer his phone and communicate any changes clearly. The workmanship was top notch and the final product came out much better than we originally had hoped. I would highly recommend this company.

The experience with Hestia and all the folks who worked on our project was very positive. Of course, as with any construction project, there will be frustrations. The key to a good vendor is not that there are problems, its how they address them. There were a couple of hiccups, but the folks at Hestia worked to correct them quickly and efficiently. All of the employees were polite, hard working and completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend Hestia (and already have) and will use them again.

We could not be more pleased with the Hestias work on our bathroom remodel. The work was excellent and the job was finished in a timely manner,no unexpected delays. Hestia did a kitchen repair after a burst pipe caused damage to our kitchen. Despite delays due to Covid-19, Hestia still managed to complete all work. It looks great and we like it.

We contracted Hestia to remodel our entire kitchen. This included new cabinetry, backsplash, appliance and sink installation, etc. The process was pretty seamless: Salesmen were helpful and knowledgeable, and scheduling work to get kicked off was easy.As far as the initial project went, they did an absolutely stellar job. The workers were professionals, they knew what they were doing, and used quality materials. Communication was good and we ran into almost no issues as we progressed. The almost finished product looked great as well.The only issues we ran into, as with any contractor, is getting punch list type items done at the end. We had some other contractors furnishing materials that took longer with Hestia installing them. It took some pestering to get a crew to finish up the work but it eventually got done.Overall, Id recommend Hestias work to anyone. They get the job done on time, they are easy to work with, and give a fair price. As with any contractor, have your materials ready or you will run into issues on the back end.

From Jesse, to Brian, to Ernesto, everyone was so great and easy to work with. The customer service and communication is top notch. They did a full remodel on our kitchen and it turned out fabulous! Highly recommend and will use them again for all of our future projects.

I recently had foundation work done at my house and both my wooden floors and porcelain tile floors were torn up and needed to be patched.I new about Hestia from one of my neighbors. Hestia gave me a price for the work that needed to be done and I signed the contract.It is unbelievable the way that the Hestia workers were able to match my floors. You cannot tell where the patches were repaired. Not bragging, but my floors were beautiful; but Hestia made them look even more beautiful than I thought possible. Bryan came by every few days to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Both Bryan and Jesse are very understanding and easy to work with.

Dakota, Melissa, and Desiree were very responsive and great to work with.Joey did a great job keeping the project on schedule and keeping me informed of all changes in time and schedules.

Hestia did a great job with our bathroom and kitchen remodel. The buildertrend portal is a great way to keep up with the status of any remodel, without having the hassle to trying to track down the construction manager for updates. Melissa, Desiree, and Dakota were great in the office and were a big help to answer and solve any questions or concerns that would come up.

There were a few hiccups early on in the project and then COVID-19 delayed it further, but once we got Stephanie and Ernesto managing the project everything went smooth. Kitchen design is good, quality of work is great, and all of our requests have been met exactly as we wanted them! Would use again.

I met with Jesse to discuss repairs to my house. My house was built in 1977, so it needed a lot of updates as well. Every room on the 1st floor was affected from removing all the Saltillo tile, gutting the entire kitchen, removing partition walls, painting, etc. In the end, my house is so much BETTER than I anticipated. I cant believe this is my house. It is completely updated with just the perfect amount of natural lighting. I really enjoy having people over. My house is no longer dark and cavernous. And many thanks to Brian for my awesome kitchen counter. I love working there in the morning while enjoying my cup of coffee.

I had my kitchen and bathroom remodeled by Hestia. They look great, but there are issues with both. I have a sink that won’t drain in the kitchen and a shower with very little water pressure. They keep telling me they didn’t touch the plumbing so it isn’t their problem. Every morning I start my day frustrated due to the extremely lower pressure. They over promise and under deliver. I think they would have made it right if I hadn’t paid in full. So my advice is that you don’t pay until you have tested every single thing.On the positive side, they were pleasant to work with. They were always on time and they answered calls/texts. Again, everything looks beautiful.

Exceptional company, sets expectations upfront and finishes job on time. I have flooded numerous times and used many builders, and moving forward I will only use Hestia. They don’t over extend themselves on too many projects so they can deliver on the promises made.

We hired Hestia to re-floor our house with hardwoods and replace the fireplace hearth. They diligently explained the process and timing and delivered a beautiful finished product. I’ve done several home projects over the years and have high, but *reasonable expectations for what the process is and should be. They protected and put all the furniture back, arranged a cleaning crew and explained what to expect for the floors given they were going into a 50 plus year old house, I.e., my foundation isn’t perfect. I would use Hestia again and would advise anyone considering them to just ask questions over any concerns, found them more than willing to explain and educate.

Hestia was a first class company to work with, from Jesse, Brian, Hannah, and Reynaldo, to the individuals performing the work. The entire team was focused on meeting/exceeding our expectations. Very satisfied with the end result which finished ahead of schedule and at the agreed cost.Our work consisted of a kitchen and 2-bath (only cabinets in master) remodel, with additional work inclusive of: repair of a recurring roof/ceiling leak in the living area, full replacement of stairway balusters, addition of trim and molding to the living room, a new built-in bookshelf, and painting of the living areas and ceilings. The duration was estimated at 5 weeks and work was completed in 4 weeks. Throughout the effort, the Hestia team endeavored to carry out the work in a sequence to minimize household disruption. The workers were pleasant, courteous, and very hard working. We tried to minimize any scope creep but inevitably made several requests that increased the overall scope. The Hestia team just adjusted and accommodated with a reasonable cost and can-do spirit. The site team also made a few extra enhancements (baseboard trim and painting of small areas) without a formal scope change.For those that have not experienced a major remodel, it is not for the faint of heart. With the kitchen and one bath out of commission for a couple of weeks, the master bedroom and bath became our headquarters and dining facility. However, Hestia did its best to get the other facilities back to serviceable as quickly as possible. For our part, we did our best to have our materials selected and available to minimize disruptions. Hannah and Brian offered excellent guidance in the selection of countertops, colors, etc. We are especially pleased with the wood work overall and, after having witnessed the craftsmanship and care, have an even greater appreciation for those that performed the workAt the end of the day, we are extremely pleased with the end result and have received compliments from numerous visitors. I highly recommend Hestia to anyone looking to remodel or upgrade a home and even plan to use them for further home upgrades early next year.

While we did not end up hiring Hestia for our kitchen remodel, I would like to compliment Jesse Coody for his professionalism and attention to detail in preparing a very fine estimate. We needed a bathroom redone, in a hurry... We chose Hestia from several companies in May. We needed the job finished by August 1st. Hestia was here every day, including weekends, and finished the job on June 18th! Everything we asked for was no problem, and its quite the little showplace. These guys are top drawer!

Jesse was on time for his first appointment and went over everything in detail and answered all my questions thoroughly. He came by a second time to go over our estimate/quote. We havent decided on using them yet based on financial reasons (and this was not a planned project), but wed highly consider them or recommend them for future planned home projects.

McGlory Project Update: Hestia continues to provide me with great customer service months after my home was completed. I contacted Hestia after my project as a noticed minor caulking was needed in my bathroom. Hestia quickly arranged and ensured a contractor came out to rectify the issue, no questions asked. The team, to include, Jesse, Brian, Melissa, Dakota and Desiree, Ernesto and Gabriel worked to make sure I was satisfied throughout the project and even months after! Thank you team! -McGlory Project: My home sustained major damage due to Hurricane Harvey and I have not lived there since. During my efforts to repair and rebuild, I encountered a contractor who did extremely shoddy work. After 7 months of dealing with that situation I was finally ready to begin again! My plan was to complete my small bath, kitchen, as well as, sheetrock, for now. I found Hestia through an online search. After my last contractor experience, I must admit, I was a bit nervous. I soon learned that Hestia has an AWESOME team! Jesse reached out to schedule the walk-through and prepare the estimate. Jesse and I were both all about the details! He was very nice, always kept a smile on his face and worked hard to draw up my somewhat complicated scope of work. Melissa, was like the glue that kept the administrative piece of the project moving forward. She was very efficient, making sure materials were selected in a timely manner and her email response time was excellent! Brian was key in keeping the entire project moving forward. He stayed in close communication with me throughout. If I had any needs or concerns, Brian made sure they were addressed immediately and often times was on top of it before I even mentioned anything. Brian was also very sympathetic to some of my lingering issues due to Hurricane Harvey. Knowing those issues, he volunteered his time by being present to address any project questions from visiting recovery agencies, as well as, recognized and helped ease my anxiety by over-communicating when necessary, which I appreciated. Brian, Ernesto and Gabriel also took the time to clean my entire home on the final day of the project, to include, the mess the last contractor left behind. I was blown away once I saw how clean it was. AMAZING!!! Last, but not least, Ernesto and his team did a remarkable job making sure the work was completed in a timely manner and done with great preciseness. I am VERY meticulous and pay attention to every minor detail and Hestia did not let me down! My kitchen and bath look AMAZING! Together they are an ALL-STAR Team and I would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home.

Completly a 0, this company is a huge scam for their employees, my husband was working for them for 1and 1/2 month or so, then when it was a time for his payment, they refused to give him a payment, know they say their change the manager/owners, also they told him they will return call but we never got any call., JUST REMEMBER EVERYTIME YOU GET HIRED FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED......
