From the very beginning with Kollin to an on time end, we had a great experience with Everhart. It was very easy to work with Alex, our project manager. He listened to all my crazy and not so crazy ideas and share his recommendations. When Alex wasnt available, Clay stepped up and was a superhero. The owner, Lee, was also very involved in the project. All the crews that came work in the house were very professional and nice and as a result we have a beautiful first floor with an amazing kitchen. We would definitely use them again. (Hopefully next time wont be during a pandemic)

After bidding the project out to 5 construction companies, I narrowed this down to Everhart Construction and one other. Because this was a $70,000 full interior and exterior office remodel, our due diligence was extensive. We reviewed other customer reviews, interviewed Lonnie, Sales Consultant, and Alex, Construction Operations Manager, observed other projects completed and choose to move forward with Everhart.Everharts initial price quote was exactly the same as what was charged for the project—without any change orders or even conversations about increases for anything—even though I made an adjustment the color of the walkway and bottom stucco and they had to alter our design to accommodate the air conditioner that was not shown on the plans in a way that required more labor and material.With the threat of Hurricane Laura passing through the east side of Houston, I contacted Lonnie and Alex and asked if they would place plywood over the apartment windows although their remodel had nothing to do with the apartment; within 60 minutes Lonnie texted me pictures of the plywood their crews placed over the windows, which they then removed the next morning after Laura passed over--without any extra charge. Lastly, they guarantee their work for 5 years, which is the strongest guarantee in the market. In summary Everhart Construction did very high quality work at a very fair price and completed this on schedule and as planned—so I highly recommend them to any other remodel.Val Gregs, Owner

I cant say enough good things about Everhart. You constantly hear horror stories from renovations and construction projects. Our experience with Everhart couldnt have been better. We had them do a media/workout room addition (20 x 15) and also custom built-ins and a faux fireplace in our family room. The owner (Lee) is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He listened to what we wanted and helped create the exact design for us. Everhart handled everything including the design, plans, and permits.The best part of our experience though was our project manager Alex Diaz. He was with us every step of the way. He super responsive, answered all calls and texts, helped us select material, always gave us status updates, and never once was impatient or annoyed by any question we asked.I honestly wish we had more projects to do at our house right now because we would absolutely have Everhart do them.

We contacted Everhart Construction and within a day they responded and had scheduled a time to do an at-home consultation. They had reasonable prices compared to other local construction companies, were professional and timely in completing their work. Alex, Angel and their team did amazing work remodeling an old box TV hole in the wall to a beautiful reading nook with gorgeous double door casement windows. The renovation brought much more light into our townhome. We would highly recommend them for any remodeling work for your home.

Our experience remodeling our master bath with Everhart was great. We were impressed with their workmanship and oversight. Clay and Eric showed up to check on things many times. Emails sent to them were answered almost immediately. Victor took pride in his work and it shows. He worked nonstop taking only one day off (a Sunday) to give us the bathroom we were hoping for. Starting with Lonnies initial visit to the finished project, everyone listened to what we wanted and made helpful suggestions.

Recently finished our master bathroom remodel which was a complete design and build by Everhart. Lee came up with a great design to fit all of our requests by optimizing the space. I recently used Everhart Construction for various repairs in my home including exterior door replacement and updated lighting in my kitchen. From start to finish they provided excellent service. Clay, along with Angel and his team were great to work with because they were always available to answer any questions and kept me informed through out the entire project. We just finished up a whole house remodel with Everhart Construction and couldnt be more pleased. We took everything down to the studs and pushed out the back of the house. From our first consultation we felt they understood what we were trying to do, and helped us plan within the budget we had in mind. This was refreshing as we had gone through this process with many other companys that ended up wasting our time and some taking our money. Through the entire remodel both Alex and Clay were great about getting back to us about any questions or concerns. The entire crew was professional and courteous to us and our neighbors. This all took place during the Pandemic, so some supply chains were disrupted. We felt they did a great job reallocating projects in order to keep the job moving forward rather than just stopping and waiting for certain materials to come in. Now that the last check has been handed over to them, they are still just as responsive to come out and take care of little things for us like power washing, re-keying our locks and hanging towel bars that came in after to project was finished. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat, but they already took care of everything for us!

**UPDATE 10/01 - Everhart saw my review and sent out Lonnie who brought a designer and did end up giving me a rendering and quote. They arent the place for me as it seems they specialize in fully custom homes and not remodeling a spec home so the cost is hard to justify for even a high end spec (Trendmaker). That said, the rendering was very nice and gave me a better idea of how the bathroom would feel and any adjustments I may want to make. For the specific clientele who are looking for a very high end, custom job, this may be the route for you. My price began at $25K and kept going on up due to challenges they said would come up with my slab and such and ended over $40K before I had to bow out and take them off my potential contractor list. I just couldnt justify this cost for a single bathroom built inside the house, without even pouring more foundation. Lonnie and the designer were very timely, however, so Id say give them a try if youre looking for the highest end custom you can get.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Met with Kollin at Everhart...heres the message I just sent the owner of the company based upon my experience:Just to let you know, and I do hope this message goes to the owner whose bottom line is impacted by $25K or so on this one deal, I met with Kollin on the 21st about building a shared bathroom for the pool and study and he said Id hear from him the next day. I wrote him 2 days later, still nothing. To this moment, a week later, still nothing. My time is a very limited resource and very valuable. I do not appreciate it being wasted, but then to be ignored completely for absolutely no reason after he had me email him all the information and photos he requested? Ridiculous and insulting. Ill be posting this same message to google and yelp reviews. There is no explanation for his weeklong ghosting and refusal to even respond to a potential client who was 90% decided. Now I could never trust the job would be completed as promised since he couldnt even close an easy sale that was low hanging fruit. Taking my business elsewhere and all the properties I manage and future real estate (and colleagues as well) with me.

We had Everhart do a remodel of our kitchen (new counters, sinks, and backsplash), new fireplace (two sided see thru linear), new wine bar and they remodeled our master bath (counters, cabinets, and floor). Alex and his team did a great job. The work was done on budget and on time. The team lead by Alex and Jose (Angel) was a pleasure to work with. They do quality work and cleaned up afterward. We could not be happier with the result. We get many complements.

July 2020: Hired Everhart again to do small(er) project for me. I needed to replace a toilet and vanity in a guest bathroom. I had a quote for this job from a plumbing company that replaced a toilet for me before, but Everhart guys were in a totally different ball game. Price-wise not a lot of difference, but no comparison in service. Plumbers pointed me to someone else to install a few tiles before placing a vanity, and were charging me for some super fancy toilet that they convinced me is the only reliable toilet on the market. Lonnie came in to see the project, and immediately pointed me to great cheap reliable toilets, now I feel totally cheated by the plumbers. Im definitely ending my membership with them. Does Everhart have a membership? Ill be down for one! They are complete package, just tell them what you want, and they take care of the rest, of every small detail. Lonnie was super fast in responding and scheduling the job. Alex was the manager on site, and his crew did an awesome job. And by the way, these guys are cleaning after themselves really well! Lots of other companies also claim to clean up after themselves, but I always have to wipe down everything they touched, and even touch paint a few things. Absolutely nothing to do after Alex and his crew.Update on the job they did in April: Im still very pleased with the job. Everything holds up great, nothing to worry, just sit back, relax and enjoy their work.Will definitely hire them again. Ive dealt with more than a dozen different contractors while I moved to a new house (new to me, the house is old, so lots of work is needed). These guys are the best.April 2020: Everhart just finished several projects in my house (yes, in the middle of stay-at-home order, as they are deemed essential service). Lonnie was extremely friendly, hands on, and patient with me. And even drove me to and from his office to choose samples (I dont have a car). Clay was the site supervisor, and he scheduled to start working on my house the next day! He and his crew were very efficient. I needed the work done as soon as possible before I move in in the new house. Well, they did the impossible and finished floors, partial bathroom remodel, kitchen cabinets repainting, and some other repainting in four days! Everything looks just breathtaking! I cannot be more satisfied. Will definitely work with them again in the future, and will recommend them to anyone.

After talking with several companies we chose Everhart to rebuild the first floor of our home after Hurricane Harvey. Rick and Annie came out for the estimate. They were able to make the changes we wanted and helped us make the design choices that were best for our home which were better than we originally wanted. Annie was always easy to get in touch with and always did her best to make sure we were happy and our needs were being met. Of course with construction, things dont always go as planned. Overall, we were very pleased with Annie and Everhart.

I 100% recommend Everhart Construction. We hired them to remodel the entire lower story of our townhome and they did an excellent quality job and finished on time. Alex and Rick were very attentive and responsive to all of our requests, even during off hours. They even went above and beyond on some of our requests and fixed more stuff than what was originally agreed on their scope of work. I will definitely be reaching out to them on our next job.

Edited with post completion updates: Few things are more stressful than a whole house remodel ----! ----My home is amazing but unfortunately the work took nearly twice as long as planned (8mos for a 90day project) and was completed with a few errors that try as we might, we could not resolve before closing out. In fairness, Everhart worked to remedy the issues they felt were most relevant. I just wish they had greater oversight over their sub contractors during the process> Had that been the case, we wouldnt be dealing with cracked hardwood flooring and a wet-room drainage issue, less than 90 days after completion.

I was amazed on how they perfectly remodeled my kitchen. I love the color combination they used, plus the added windows and cabinets, the classic style of the ceiling, and the glossy type material on the floor. It makes the area look so clean, fresh and organized.

I’ve been looking for a construction firm to remodel our kitchen. I found Everhart Construction online and I was surprised with their prompt response and with their detailed proposal. They gave us good quality of work at an affordable price. :) :)

I had someone from Everhart come out to view our flood damage, take measurements, and talk about how we wanted to repair our home. I was immediately asked to sign a document to sign over any money we would receive from flood insurance. This was before any measurements or quote would be given. Had I known this would be the case, I would not have wasted my time having them come out.

We bought a new house that was already renovated, but it did not have a bathtub in the master bathroom. I spoke with several contractors that could not figure out a way to add a tub using the small space we had. It took Everhart 5-10 mins to figure out 3 different floorplans. They worked with our budget and I got everything I wanted. The whole project took 2 weeks to complete and the end result was gorgeous. I wold use them again in the future and refer them to my friends.

Everhart Construction completed the restoration of flooded units in our complex, one of which was mine. They did a very good job and went out of their ways to please the homeowners. My dealings were with Alex Diaz, who went above and beyond his duties to make sure everything got done the way I wanted. He paid attention to every detail and was meticulous in getting the work done properly and timely. When I could not contact the project manager for an issue on a Saturday, I called Alex and he willingly gave up his off-duty time to get me out of a bind by coming over to render help. He has a good disposition, a will do and keep customer happy attitude. He has a ready smile no matter how tired he may be from working long hours to keep the project going. Thank you Alex..
