We have been getting our son’s haircut at V’s since his very first cut (he will be 7 this month so we’ll over 25 cuts). They are all kind, make the family comfortable, and do a nice job on his hair. We have seen either Conchi (Concepcion) or Moises and have been more than pleased with them every single time. It’s now a regular father son Saturday morning tradition in our family.

Just moved to the area and got my hair cut by Adam Stout. I have just businessmans length hair. But for years the people cutting my hair used clippers, and even though I told them I had cowlicks in the back and they need to layer it properly and not cut too short, they could never get it right. I told Adam I wanted just a scissors cut, and to be careful of the cowlicks. He LISTENED, and gave me the best haircut of my life. I dont have to wear any sort of product in my hair to flatten down the cowlicks. Fantastic for the first time cutting my hair. I will be a regular now. And to top it off, he hot lathered my neck and gave me a neck shave with a straight razor to top off the experience. Cheers to you Adam!

Came to Vs Barbershop as Im currently in Houston for the summer and needed a place to get a haircut. Went online and found a reddit forum that talked highly about this place so figured Id give it a try. Moises was my barber and he was great. Friendly and took his time cutting my hair asking questions to make sure it was to my liking. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for another cut before I head back to DC.

Moises is a great barber and a very nice man. He has cut my hair for about 8 years and I cant say enough good, positive things about him. I enjoy the atmosphere of the shop and the other barbers, too, who like to talk about sports, entertainment, and news while you are in the barbers chair!

Adam was great! He provided a quality haircut and great conversation.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the terrible customer service from Alia right when I walked in.I had an appointment for 12:30 and arrived about 10mins early. I obviously had no issues with waiting until my 12:30 appointment, but Alia was very rude from the start. She rudely said I was early for my appointment and would need to wait (which I had no problem waiting). I stated that I was just a few minutes early, and she replied yeah youre like 10 minutes early, youll need to wait for your appointment.Im not really sure why Alia was so rude to a customer. I think its fairly typical to arrive somewhat early for an appointment just to make sure you dont miss it. No issues with waiting for my actual appointment time with Adam, but Alia, for some reason, had to make sure I new I had to wait.Great haircut from Adam, but awful customer service from Alia.

Terrible customers service guys. Booked an appointment and didn’t select a specific barber, just for anyone who was available. I walked in on time and sat down, not a single person who worked there looked in my direction for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, two guys walked in off the street with no appointments(they were asked) and were immediately sat down in a barber chair for a haircut. I was told that I had to keep waiting because they were behind, and after about 30+ minutes I just left. Won’t be back here.

Terrible service, I’ve scheduled my service several days in advance. I showed up 15 minutes earlier, not a single word, after 45 minutes I left, no service, no commitment, just a pathetic lack or compromise and customer service.

Went here for the first time today. Adam did a great job. I was in and out in 30 min with a good haircut for a good price. Adam was kind enough to recommend a hair styling product for me as well.

I went there last week on Father’s Day weekend. I had very good good experience. Adam. Stout was my barber and he was very professional. The barbershop was very clean and followed all covid-19 protocols. After a great experience I will be going back again.

Moisis has been cutting my hair and trimming my beard for about 10 years now. He always does an amazing job, is such a friendly guy, and very accommodating. I am not a very good planner, so I usually call him last minute and hes happy to work with me and fit me in. And best of all, its always a great haircut!

Has to be one of the worst run barbershops I’ve ever been to. Waited 25 minutes only to see the staff wait around until their appointments came in. No care whatsoever for walk ins. I was not the only one who walked about after wasting their time. The owner thinks he’s running a salon. Guess what it’s a barbershop! There should be no appointments allowed at all!! The best barbershops I’ve been to don’t have appointments and that’s what makes them great. I will never again come here.Another interesting side story. Client asked about some products as was interested in buying. No one could answer the questions and said they had never seen the products. And yet they sell them in the store! How embarrassing.

Wasnt even able to get haircut. I made an appointment online for 8am. I showed up and sign on the door says it opens at 9. I had an email confirmation for 8 and it even had the barbers name, etc.I am sure it is a behind the scenes technical issue. No big deal. So I go next door and have coffee until 9am when they are supposed to open. When I go back the lights are out, door locked and there is even an employee locked out himself. He calls around(super nice guy) and says nobody will be there for at least 30 more minutes. So an hour plus wasted and didnt even get a haircut.

Usually not particular on where I get my hair cut, but damn. I couldnt believe how well I got treated.Hot towel wrap, neck/head massage, shaving & after-shave, full works for $28. The haircut itself was perfect, and the barber consulted before and during cutting, so tipping anything under $5 was sinful but I wouldve left a 20 if I could. Anyway, I believe it was Miguel who cut my hair and the entire staff was nice as can be, so its safe to say Ill definitely be coming back here, many thanks.

Ask for Myron - Ive been here twice and will definitely return. Both times I called ahead for an appointment and was seen right away. The facilities are clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Ask for Myron, he is an excellent barber. Probably gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had.

Ive always had good experiences at Vs, until today! I went for a haircut, without an appointment. A gentleman at the counter asked me if I had an appointment - No. He turned to one of the barbers, a black dude with long hair (who was talking on the phone) and asked him if he would take me. The guy shook his head, No. So I was asked to wait - no problem. A few minutes later, the black dude finished his call and told me he would take me. I sat down in the chair, told him what I wanted done, he sprayed my hair wet, then he asked Are you my 11 am appointment? No, I said (the time was about 10:50). Oh well, he said, I must ask you to sit in the waiting chair, my appointment will be here soon. I was not a happy camper and expressed my frustration. Another of the barbers came over and said he would help me as soon as he was finished with his client. Ok, so all is well. But at about 11:10, the black guys customer came in, but HE had to wait as well, while the barber went out for a cigarette. (Sorry, I do not know the barbers name, hence my referring to what he looks like)

Solid barbershop! I went to check it out on Sunday and had the pleasure of getting my haircut by James Benton (who might be the greatest to ever do it) and even enjoyed some Texans football while James did a phenomenal job on my hair. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I have had haircuts to numerous to count in my 80 years. No barber can compare to Moises. And he should get a Nobel Prize for his shaving.

I wish i could leave no stars!!!think twice about getting a shave here. make sure you request they use a sharp razor. my chin and jaw line were pretty much torn up when left. i have had plenty of straight razor shaves in my life and have NEVER left with my face as irritated and blotchy. the barber (moises) tried to make it seem like its a normal thing but, nobody should ever leave feeling this uncomfortable or incomplete. the barber continued to to nick at my face several times after having cleaned off the shave cream and he didnt even get everything off. there is still a little bit of hair around the corners of my mouth and lower neck.for $30 this should have been a very different experience. i wish i wouldve used that money for lunch and a razor to do it myself.

I got 2 good haircuts here, but the 3rd one was so bad I asked for a refund. The guy butchered my hairline along my forehead, and he combed the top hair over it so I wouldnt notice.Really unprofessional customer service. nobody really cares much at this place if you arent happy with your haircut.Its impossible to even speak to a manager.

I would give 0 Stars but I had to give 1. Customer service from the man sweeping and helping the front desk was great. However, my request was extremely simple and maybe takes 5 minutes max. The barbers were rude as F. I walked in and asked for a quick Edge on my Neck ONLY and even the barber sitting down whos 3 oclock didnt show up yet said no he couldnt do it. He was sitting there scratching his nuts not doing a damn thing. I asked if I could edge my neck and maybe taper the very bottom of my side burns and the tall skinny black dude with the loafers gave the man helping me a rude answer, saying that it would be a FULL haircut (maybe 5 minutes max). Terrible attitudes in this place. The guy helping the front was great though. Some people take their little work for granted and dont appreciate people trying to give them business.

Walked out halfway through my haircut. Guy giving my cut looked like he was tweaking on drugs and his fingers smelled like he had just smoked something. Had to find somewhere else to go to finish my cut.

I was recommended to this place. I always had my doubts about it, but its three minutes away from our house. The barber named Coty was my son barber. Hes absolutely amazing, very professional but after finding out he no longer works here. I started using Adam which is also great. This place has no order in it so what ever. First starting with the bald headed guy name Steven never knows what he is talking about either . I was told to sign in at the front desk like always but was skip over on the list, that Steven is supposed to manage. The barber Jb makes a smart ass remarks to the customer in the chair that I can hear . Talk about being professional. The owner really need to get this place some customer service training. Highly recommend you finding another barbershop in the area.

Poor service and dirty. Why make an appointment to watch 4 walk-ins stroll on in? At least I had time to watch as 3 people go to the same person up front and see all their hair pile up. No attempt made to clean station after each use. I also had the pleasure of listening to the guy answering phone tell every caller how much he hates the holiday and cant wait for January 2nd. I will stick to Cutthroat or Argyle. At least you know your appointment is kept and I am willing to pay a little more for a clean chair.
