I didnt feel rushed plus had a nice conversation and pointers on treating my hair. Augie cut my elderly Dad’s hair for years. Augie was always so kind and nice to Dad and I always liked hanging out there and listening to them talk while Dad got his hair cut. I have been a customer of Augies for over 20 years. Since he gave me that first haircut, I knew he was the barber for me. The haircut was perfect, Augie was personable, and his barbershop was both convenient and affordable.Augie also cut both of my boys hair until they reached adulthood and moved to other cities. Even though they have barbers where they now live, it is common for them to go to Augie when they are back in Houston for a visit.Augie is an expert haircutter. I will continue to go to him for my haircuts until the day he retires.

I wouldnt recommend younger people to come here. This place is for people who seek a simple haircut. The place is ran and owned by an elderly couple and the man didnt fade my sons hair right he left him with a huge line across his head and i had to go somewhere else to fix his hair.

Great service. Walk in and you feel like youve been going there for years. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The older gentleman, despite being very nice cannot blend short hair or use a straight razor. I asked for a zero low taper fade, the left was shorter than the right and the fade was blended very poorly, I was nervous while he used the razor, I could feel heavy pressure as he made short hard chopping motions, the lines were crooked and uneven, I stopped him, left, and am waiting at another shop to have it fixed.
