Cool, clean, and bright. I dont think the interior could be better, a kind of rustic downtown feel. I made an appointment with Will to cut my hair, and every cut was made with care. Overall Im satisfied with their work and would be happy to return.

I came in as a walk-in and Russ hooked me up! He took the time to give me advice and make sure that I was happy with the cut. Make sure you request him! Perfect experience.

My go to shop to know Ill always get a nice, clean cut. Jonah is the barber that I always go to and he never fails to deliver. I have nothing but good things to say about him and the shop. Everyone is friendly and the shop has a great vibe along with good conversations and great music. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I need to save the next person. I got a cut about 2 weeks ago from Alfredo. His fade was on point and very well done. I was back in town and tried to make another appointment with him, but he was booked up. I took the next available which was Jonah C. Well he completely just butchered my hair, the fade is not close to being even, the lines are off, and he cut up my neck. Alfredo took his time and you could tell he had pride in his work, where Jonah took about 8 minutes. I will not be back, nor do I recommend this shop unless you go to Alfredo.

East End Barber is a shop full of great people who love their craft. Everyone is courteous and laid back. The shop is always super clean. Alfredo always does top notch work. I constantly get compliments at work and by my family on the fresh cut. I live across town, but the quality and consistency I get from his cuts is well worth the drive.

New to Houston. Have been looking for all the normal stuff like you have to when you move...doctors, dentists, a salon for my wife and a barber for me. Well, I can check the barber off the list. Love the convenience of the Squire app to schedule and pay all in one shot. Got in with Johnny - I have to say one of the best haircuts I have ever had. Super cool dude to talk to. The shop has that vibe that makes it a cool fun place. Great music playing, super clean and they do a great job managing covid protocols. If you were unsure about coming here for whatever reason, get over it and get in there. As long as I live in Houston this will be my spot.

Hands down the best Barber Shop in Houston! You can call ahead of time and make your appointments. They are actually pretty good in keeping up with your scheduled time. My son loves this place and feels really comfortable coming over. My favorite barbershop in Houston, which is also located and connected to coral sword and a tattoo shop. Been seeing these guys for years and also cut my sons hair as well. You can go wrong with any staff that’s employed here. I’ve seen Ryan, Mike, Trevor,Kevin, and Alfredo. Alfredo has been my main barber Over the las few months. I get a beard Trim and haircut, which amounts to 42$. Place is unique. Everyone has a huge personality there and it’s a great environment to be around imo. Make sure and book an appointment ahead of time, which will save a lot of time waiting.

(Update, I was contacted and apologize for the miscommunication)I had an appointment made @ 9am. I arrived by 8:40 am and was the front door by 8:59am. An employee asked me who I had the appointment with. The employee told me my barber was running a little late but just “chill here while I wait”, until my barber arrives so I did. I waited on the benches till 10am. Then I decided call and let them to cancel the appointment. The employee who answered the phone told me that he could not treat it as a cancellation instead its going to be treated as “no show”, and my barber already had someone else in the chair and he was booked all day. Remind you, I’ve been there since 8:40 am. Instead of making big deal out it I decided to just take the no show. I don’t know what happened, maybe there was mixed up in communication but nonetheless, I’m very disappointed with my experience here since I have used them before and it was very good.

I live in the neighborhood and have been looking for a good barber to do upkeep on my rockin short doo. Lucky for me, I moseyed on in to East End Barbers. Ive been impressed with the environment and laid-back way that staff treats you. They greet you with a cold beverage on tap for the wait. The barbers are all friendly and chill peeps.

East end barber is great for the full experience. Edwin was my barber and I had the best time there. The pomade that he uses is also pretty much impervious to the humidity and sweat that we have in Houston.

Christmas Eve was my first time to East End Barbershop and Edwin was an awesome barber,truly skilled and talented-will be getting my hair cut here from now on and will recommend them to family and friends and another plus all the barbers cracking jokes making you laugh was the icing on the cake

This has been my go-to barber shop ever since they opened. Ryan the owner is one of the coolest most down to earth dudes Ive ever met and although I would go here just for the excellent haircut, I also love the people and the atmosphere. I tried all the trendy mens barbers in Houston prior to Eastend and although I got some decent cuts they all had flaws (overpriced, long waits, no reservations, etc.) I suggest making a reservation well in advance as the place is popular for a reason.

Fresh fades all day!A traditional style barber shop with complete originality. Very chill atmosphere and skilled barbers all the way around. If you are still going to places like super cuts or sports clips it’s time to grow up and get a real barber shop experience. Fresh cuts and straight razor shaves done the way it’s supposed to be. Been getting my haircut by Ryan for quit a few years and have always been impressed with my cut. All of the barbers here are true masters of their craft and just all around good people. Do yourself a favor and check em out. They will not disappoint.

Always a fun place with a good vibe. Barbers are all skilled enough that I never really have to worry about who is cutting my hair; I just pick a time that works for me and get whoever is available. Definitely get an appointment though, they theoretically take walk-ins sometimes but Ive never seen them slow enough to accommodate that. Good selection of hair products as well.

The worst part about moving away from Houston is that I havent gotten a haircut from Ryan in over a year. Hes irreplaceable as a barber and theres nobody Ive found since I moved away that even comes close to his quality of haircut; hes the best nation-wide and my hair hasnt been the same since. Ryan aside, this place also has an amazing atmosphere and cool people. The free coffee is also nice. Im actively looking forward to getting my hair cut here the next time I visit Texas

Great vibe, customer service was fine, but for a $30 cut Id expect to get what I described and showed in the multiple reference pictures I provided. I feel like what I tried to communicate was just kind of brushed aside like yeah yeah I got you and then they did the same high and tight comb over fade every hip barbershop does now. I wish I could say better and really did not want to write a bad review because the place is cool and people were nice but Im having to grow my hair back out now probably for another 2-3 months to get what I actually want while walking around with a super generic haircut that is nothing like what I described or showed my barber.

This is a quirky and comfortable shop with a lot of talent and character. I recently moved to east end and had to find a local barber. I walked in last month, while it was slow, and only waited 15 minutes. The walk-in barber was awesome. He was super easy to talk to and did a great job. Everyone else in the shop was super cool as well, from reception to the other barbers. My most recent visit, I booked an appointment with Ana, and I’ve been getting nothing but compliments on my cut. Super clean.

Haircut was great! customer service was great! Everything was five stars, other than the ringworm I developed. If you do decide to go, make sure you watch the barber clean the blades and knives used on your scalp. If not, it will become a 230$ haircut after the doctors visit and medicine.

I had a good haircut but felt like they didn’t appreciate my business. The barber didn’t attempt to make any conversation, I wasn’t offered a drink when literally everyone else in the shops was, I left with bits of hair all over my face and chest because the barber was seemingly afraid to touch me. Aside from that, the barber’s next client decided to sit at the bench directly in front of the chair and stare, probably making the barber feel rushed. I understand making the most of a space you have but those benches are weird. I really wish my experience was better because I would have liked to go back!

I cant give place enough praise. I drive across town from the Heights to get a haircut here. Bones (my barber) has always given me a great haircut. I really enjoy the atmosphere. Chairs are turned to the middle of the building so that there is always amusing banter going on. The music selection is always different but always fun. If there is anything to complain about it is that an appointment is necessary. But even then, that is a testament to how good they are. I highly recommend East End Barber...just make sure to set up an appointment.

Been here more than once and Will does a fantastic job at cutting my hair, and is a great conversationalist a long with the rest of the Monday Crew at work. The last time i went, had to get cut by Kevin because Wills schedule was full. Ended up with a new hair style which isnt all that bad, but i was surprised. Still returning in the future.

Awesome barber shop! It is appointment only but it is extremely easy to set one up either online or by calling in. They always have someone at the front desk to talk to and get you squared away with your barber. Ive gone to at least 3 of their barbers and theyre all top notch, easy to talk to and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

Kevin did a great job. I had really shaggy hair and only had the idea that I wanted it short with a side part. He did an excellent job explaining what he was doing. He took extra time to ensure he got all my hair (going from long hair to short hair usually results in some leftover long strays). He even used a razor for the outline. He gave me great directions for how to fix it afterwards and which product he thought was best. Probably the best haircut Ive ever gotten. I highly recommend this place.

Not the worst haircut of my life but close to it. When I ask for a bald fade high and tight then have to request the barber to shave the sides down to skin makes me question if he knows what he was doing. Then I realize he doesnt when he didnt even blend it in with the top or even clean it up with a straight razor.Ive been living in Houston for over a year now and Im still searching for a barber that knows how to cut hair.

A rockin barbershop a few blocks off the Gulf Fwy inside the loop on Telephone Road. Kid friendly. I have been getting a different barber each time, and they are all tops. Plus there is a coffee (and game) shop next door. With the over the top exterior wall art, its like walking into a huge tat.

Came in for my appointment and was denied because their system showed a different time even though my appointment showed 11am in my email. No apologies. Very disappointed and frustrated since I had to wait 4 days for this appointment. No receipt was asked for so I didnt show it. I showed what I had and what I went by. I rely heavily on my schedule just like this company and for them to act like they are doing everything perfect is ridiculous. Im glad the full salary was not earned. Good luck with your business.

Ive been going to East End Barber for all my haircut & beard trimming needs since they opened. All of the barbers are extremely skilled, and I have never had a cut less than excellent. Ive never had to wait very long with an appointment, so I would recommend making an appointment ahead of time. These guys are masters of their craft, so expect a precision cut not a rush job.

Yea they get a bad review. Drive here on a Sunday. Not once but twice on different occasions. First time they said they were about to close and couldn’t help me. Second time they said “oh we’re an appointment only shop” so I was like ok cool. Not going to try a third time. I have dreads. All I wanted was a taper and a line up.
