Every single time I come here, Luis pays incredible attention to detail and takes his time to give his patrons a literal ->perfect

Ive been having trouble finding a barber in the area for a good fade. Luis gave me exactly what Ive been looking for.The shop is a bit difficult to find because the signage is easy to miss so look for the barbers pole attached to the auto shop. The banter between the barbers is amusing, and the location is convenient once you find it.Prices are not cheap but not exorbitant, right where you would expect them to be for a modern barber shop. I think Ive found my new barber, hopefully theyll be around for a while.

Honestly, the best and most relaxed barber shop ive seen in Houston. The atmosphere is great, the style is so old school which make it so much better.But the real reason about this review is because of Paul. Paul is my barber and i will not go to anyone else. He cuts hair good and very knowledgeable. I make sure to leave a tip every time i go. If you want your hair looking nice, Paul is the way to go. He will not disappoint you. Also you know how barbers rush people heads then on to the next and they rush. Paul will not rush, he will make sure before you leave out his chair, your hair is looking the way you want it. I highly recommend going and giving Paul a visit!

I got clowned here. Simple as that. Hands down one of the top 3 worst cuts I have had in my 40+ years of existence. Dude didnt listen to anything I said upon getting started and proceeded to do to my head some of the dumbest stuff I have ever seen (Id really like to know where he was trained; self taught perhaps?). I dont recall his name. Maybe the other guys are better, but I refuse to go back based on the quality of this one haircut and experience I had there. I was perturbed for days and weeks afterwards and had to wait for it to grow out a bit to get evened out properly elsewhere.If the guy had been cool, I may have left another star. He didnt chat with me once during the entire session. He was more interested in the conversation of the barber next to him and his customer. I even set it up for possible interesting conversation at the beginning by telling him that I had recently moved back from living abroad, where I was getting my cuts for a while. In my opinion, this guy shouldnt be cutting hair as it doesnt appear to be his calling. I usually dont do reviews, but I got chumped at this establishment. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Been going to Capone’s for about 5 years now. Always go to see Luis but any of the barbers there are beyond capable of delivering a great haircut with good conversation. Great place and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Mark and the crew are hands down amazing. I love that appointments are required and honored. They respect my time. It has a great atmosphere and I always leave feeling and looking better than when I walked in. Have been going here 3+years and wont go to another shop.

Tried to make an appointment for a simple beard trim. Spoke with an unfriendly, short tempered gentlemen named Mark that told me they are booked. Tried to make a appointment for a later date and was hung up on. When I called back to inquire about his shortness and schedule for a later date was shut down again. Hard Pass. Sadly I office close bye and am looking for a good barber but am forced to take my business elsewhere.

Mark has been cutting my hair for several months now and Im always happy with the end result. Im generally in and out in twenty minutes, including an old-school, machine-driven shoulder massage after the cutting portion is compete. This is the kind of barber shop Id been looking for. And to top it off, I can book online!

I came in for the second time and asked for a cut so I can comb my hair with on both sides of the natural split of my hair. The barber removed all of my hair on my weight line. My fade was also pretty spotty and not smooth at all. The barber has made an effort to correct this mistake. I will update this review once I go in after my hair grows. I am very disappointed with the haircut and especially when making an effort to visit a barber and not a hair stylist.Update: As much as I want to return, I do not want to have another bad experience. I am sure the other barbers may be good ones but it is not worth it to me. Be patient when coming here as they may run 10 to 20mins behind on appointments.

The shaving experience was fun. It was very hard to get an appointment, and had to pay more than was advertised on the web page, though.

The owner stayed open late on a Friday so I could get a haircut. Friendly staff and good attention to detail.

Called to make an appointment and Mark answered the phone and he was so incredibly rude. When I was confirming the time with my son (who was sitting right next to me), he hung up on me and said he didn’t have time for that. We tried calling back and talking to someone else and was hung up on again. I don’t know what is wrong with these people, or how they can be in a service oriented industry and treat they’re prospective customers with such disrespect. If it was possible to give a negative rating, I would. But since that isn’t possible, I will share my negative experience at every opportunity.

Ive been here twice, and got my hair cut by Mark. I like Mark and he does a great job, and hes good to talk to. Especially if youre a wet shaver. Hes highly knowledgable on that topic and also carries soaps and aftershaves in the shop there. Go check it out! Youll be happy with Capones!

Worst haircut of my life, and Im 54. First visit for a simple mens haircut and got an embarrassing chop job. Had to get my wife to even it up. Avoid Gene, the old man in the end chair, he needs to retire. I cant believe they let this guy cut hair. The rest of the barbers were pretty unfriendly as well. Wasted $17.

Beyond Rude! Tried booking an appointment for me and a friend but Mark Dugat was too busy to go thru his schedule. Then he hung up on me.

I booked an appointment with Barry Dean and showed up about 15 minutes early, he was ready exactly when my appointment started, I had the full haircut/facial/ beard trim, and it was an absolute delight. This will be my regular barbershop while Im here in Houston.
